>> a look at the weather. we see sunshine over in san francisco, but we're still off to a chilly start this morning. we're starting to warm up to the 40's in santa rosa and livermore 50 in oakland. and 48 in san francisco. so we have high pressure in control, keeping
9:15 am
us dry and mild and down south there. still low pressure, spinning those offshore winds in southern california sets not helping the fire situation there. still red flag warnings in ventura and los angeles counties. the wind in the bay area's not an issue today. we're seeing single digits and it looks like it's going to stay that way throughout the afternoon and evening forecast highs are going to be comfortable. we're going to see plenty of sunshine. i know it was chilly start. but in the afternoon it's pretty nice and mild low 60's for you inland around the east bay shoreline like oakland and hayward, mid 60's santa rosa along the coast will remain in the low 60's for the daytime highs. look out for some moderate air quality. you may notice some haze out there because that high pressure and lack of surface low, it tends to keep things stack it. so just be mindful, if you're in that sensitive group, 7 day forecast, we are drier than average. a slight cool down later on at the end of the weekend. but we will be waking up to some chilly temperatures

as we speak. not bad. >> yeah, it's at 10 year treasury, which i always talk about it. maybe i'm obsessed with sits at 4.6, 5% yesterday that 4.8 almost ultimately got good cpi number today. not a great one. to be honest with you, but a good one, meaning the fed's not going to have to raise interest rates are probably gonna stay neutral at least a half year. the year. inflation came in at a 3.2% rating. again, we want it more like to it's a little hot right now. it's not going locks just right. it's a little hot if you exclude food and energy. so markets are rallying on that only hecause it looks like the fed's not going to raise interest rates in earnings at jp morgan, goldman sachs, citigroup. citibank, wells fargo, blackrock. all great. so financials are leading the market, which is what you really really want. don't want just tech stocks, ok? well, you mentioned consumer prices a moment ago exile. sure you've noticed everybody's been notice and it just up the price for a dozen eggs going through the >> roof. yeah, they're pushing
9:18 am
$9 and counting. i'm for doesn't ultimately what we have here is transportation costs are expensive. we also have a big bird flue that spread through all 50 states last year. it's not killed over 130 million birds that lag. so it's gonna come down from here. but it's not going to go where we want you know, $3 and 64 3,006, $0.5 about him, which is where we were not too long ago. all right, ok, let's get to another story this morning typically, right. if i understand correctly, investors usually like it. when companies start cutting costs, meta says it's going to cut about 5% of its not elon musk, but mark zuckerberg earlier said it was because he wants to cut out some of their lowest performers. >> on the workforce, don't know what your take. back in 2023 met. i did big firing of employees letting go call it the year of efficiency. >> this time to be 5% of their employees. we are mark
