everything is changing. it's cool. it's going to get even colder and we're going to have a chance of some rain drops this morning and a chance of some rain drops tomorrow as well. so future rain totals not terribly impressive. it'll be hit and miss kind of spotty possibility of rain and maybe 2 tenths of an inch, maybe one 10th of an inch maybe you'll see nothing. so it's impossible to forecast exactly where because this is a little bit tough to forecast. but overall, we have not only the cold weather and the possibility of some raindrops. we also have a host of advisories. there's a dense fog advisory for sonoma county through 9 o'clock this morning. there's also a frost advisory all the way through 09:00am this morning. that's for the north bay, the interior parts of the north bay. there's a freeze watch in the mornings. starting this morning actually overnight tonight into tomorrow morning. and then for the mornings all the way through tuesday morning at 10 for really cold conditions. and that's not all

though. wind advisory, north bay mountains through sunday morning, stephanie. >> kathy, thank you. this week marks 2 years since the massacre that claimed the lives of 7 people in half moon bay. that tragedy ignited advocacy for farm worker rights. crawford's jack moment reports from a friday vigil where community members gathered to reflect. >> the vigil is meant to honor the 7 farmworkers who were killed 2 years ago this week. there was also a shot over the vigil with many people here fearful over what the next 4 years of immigration policy can bring. >> close from you it a sauber friday evening as the community remembers those who are gone out now more than ever. i think that showing up really is going to be more than half of and i had to remind to protect those who are still with them. you know, it's been it's been tough. belinda hernandez are ya got runs a nonprofit who hosted the two-year memorial for the half moon bay mass shooting.

>> on january, 23rd 2023, a disgruntled farm worker shot and killed 7 farmworkers and critically injured. one other the shooting ignited a massive conversation on how farmworkers many undocumented are treated. the past 2 years have been spent trying to get better housing and advocate for better resources and we can never. >> fully imagine what the families are going. really, you know, this loss for them is forever. so coming together after 2 years is a must for us to not for kids to keep their memory going to also pledge that we will never allow this to happen again. >> you know what it feels. >> through prayer and had written letters. a couple 100 people here on friday. no, this year's memorial comes with a shot in the days ahead of us. we're going to be called upon to have that heard many of the undocumented farm workers who wanted to show up friday to grieve, stay at home

after recent executive order by president trump crackdown on immigration. but i want this message to reach what was that word k? everyone at the county i spoke to had one thing say and that's what we stand for. undocumented community will not be deterred know was also left that a loss just a day after the president's inauguration basically saying that, you know, champ is here, pack your bags and report. >> to ice. but that still did not stop large crowd from showing up. support. it hits home. and for me, it is an emotional time. but i'm grateful for the love of the community coming together. >> now there is a permanent memorial in the works set to honor those lives that were lost 2 years ago. and when it's completed, it will be in fernandez park in half moon bay. but it'll take a couple of years to complete reporting here in half moon bay jack moment. kron, 4 news. >> new this morning, a woman has been charged with assaulting a muni bus passenger with a glass bottle.

the san francisco district attorney's office says a kaja brewster also attacked a second person as she shouted anti latino phrases. prosecutors say brewster was charged thursday with assault with a deadly weapon, battery and hate crime. she pleaded not guilty. the judge ordered her to be held without bail. the case remains an active investigation. it concerns over the immigration issue not just in the latino community, but among a number of other groups as well. the asian law caucus. joining other immigrant rights organizations this week to sue the trump administration over the executive order aiming to remove birthright citizenship. in a statement, the executive director for the asian law caucus says, quote, if you're born here, you are a citizen period. no politician, including president trump can decide who is american and who is not. their heightened concerns within immigrant communities in san francisco after someone reported encountering an ice agent on a muni bus. well, city officials have since said that rumor was not true. but as kron four's

lezla gooden reports, fear remains. i caught up with the mayor de lory while he was visiting a fire station in san francisco. >> i dressed him directly about the alleged ice encounter on a muni bus and how president trump's promise on mass deportation has many residents now on edge. here's how he responded a question. sorry, guys, sorry. we got many want to know about the muni, concerned that we're out a statement that it wasn't fair. fresno, i'm sorry say it, make sure that you guys i got it. but we got around. mayor, do you have anything to say? a lot of people are very scared right now. they would like to hear directly. really appreciate it. now, make sure that you have are i got this state and the people want to hear directly from you. this care. >> they're very scared were reaching out to community leaders were talking to people were gathering information in yesterday's rumors. >> it's just it. we understand people are fearful. and so we we are in contact right now with community leaders and we

will continue to communicate with the public. we also reached out to ice about this encounter and they told us in his statement that they were not involved. >> in this incident, we also heard from local nonprofits like mission action about this and they gave us the following statement saying we want to reassure everyone that we are actively investigating this incident at this time. we have been unable to verify the report and are unable to provide additional information beyond what is currently available. and this is what you can do. if you find yourself contacted by an ice agent, first, a calm and remain silent. you are not required to answer questions about your immigration status or where you were born to do not open the door without seen a warrant. lastly document the incident safely without interfering and ask for a lawyer. if you are detained, let's going home for news. >> breaking news overnight in the gaza cease-fire agreement

for female israeli soldiers held hostage by hamas for return to israel this morning. in exchange, israel released 200 palestinian prisoners, including 121 serving life sentences. the release soldiers likely under duress were seen smiling and waving to a crowd before being handed over to the red cross. thousands celebrated in both gaza and tel aviv as the -phostages reunited with their families marking a significant moment in the fragile cease-fire agreement. in the east bay. a canadian man is sentenced to 2 years in prison after he sexually extorted a minor in contra costa county. the da's office identified the man as 25 year-old nicholas fahy. you may contact with the victim over social media back in 2019, the he requested sexually explicit images of the victim and when they complied, fahy threatened to release those images unless more were sent. canadian police arrested fahy at his home in 2021. and fairfield authorities seized more than 2000 plans from 3 illegal grow

houses. this happened on january. 9th warrants were served for houses near the pool toss south river. police say fairfield has problems with illegal rowhouses citing 11 that have been shut down in the city in the past 6 months san francisco transit officials say they're facing a major budget shortfall. sfmta is inviting the public to a meeting next week to discuss ways to raise funds. this comes as the transit agency says it is staring down a potential 320 million dollar budget gap. officials cite a decline in funding and high inflation as reasons for the deficit. the agency warned of potential cuts to muni and other services. it's next published public discussion is on friday, january 31st. people can attend in person or online. the san jose sharks paying special tribute to a local firefighter thursday night. alameda county firefighter brandon franco kicked off the game with a

puck drop. franco was badly burned while fighting the corral fire near tracy last june. he's fortunately since recovered at thursday's game. the sharks also raised funds for organizations supporting the la county area as it works to recover from wildfire. still ahead on the kron morning news, a new surveys giving neighbors in the south bay a chance to bring attention to key issues that they want to see addressed. >> what they are calling on san jose city leaders to do. everywhere. >> it's not just when it was so ball. >> in the north bay, a food truck owner has life-threatening injuries this morning after someone shot him. we speak with neighbors about that incident and hear what police say led up to >> as president donald trump visits southern california, there's a larger question hanging over his trip. will he or won't he condition emergency fire 8 for the golden state capitol correspondent eytan wallace. i'll tell you what he's saying about it and all of reaction from state leaders.

santa clarita. it is now 79% contained up from 54% on friday. it's burned about 10,000 acres so far. evacuation orders have since been lifted. our parent company nexstar is get is partnering with the red cross to raise money for wildfire victims. you can scan the qr code right there on your screen for more information and make that donation to help out. let's turn now to kron four's kathy trafton for the weather. a cafe. >> well, hey, stephanie, a big change finally in southern california because widespread rain is in the forecast this afternoon through monday. so this is something that's very much needed those. so so dry. and yet the concern is right. mudslides and debris flows to how much rain? >> well, it could be maybe. >> in the most favored areas los angeles and ventura counties. it could be up to an inch half an inch to an inch and a lot less. and santa barbara, but that's the main thing is the rain. and they knew they do need it. that's the thing. highest in 10

cities and then not everywhere. but in some areas could be a half an inch to three-quarters of an inch per hour. and in that situation, if we have intense these that high, the concern really turns to flooding concern also turns to debris flows. concern also can is for mudslides because if the rain falls on the part the burn scars that is so parched and it doesn't absorb the water. so that's where we get the flooding concerns. mountain snow is also possible for the southwest california mountains as well as parts of the sierra. but here's the thing about southern california is been so long since i've seen really significant rain that they're actually into severe even extreme drought. so they need the rain. on the one hand, on the other hand, they don't want too much all at once. so we're in a bit of a pickle. here's the area of low pressure that will be affecting us as well as southern california. as you can see, we put this in motion and look at that. yeah, a little bit of rainfall, not a

lot, but for us, maybe this afternoon looks like we'll have spotty rain here. but even more significant and more widespread rain in southern california. if we lose our rain weather quickly, still chances of rain into tomorrow, but it's really more significant in southern california right there with the center of the area of low pressure is you see the rain and you seeing some snow in the southern california mountains as well as in the sierra stephanie. kathy, thank you. >> president donald trump stopped in la last night to tour the wildfire damages there. he landed friday afternoon and was greeted by governor newsom. the president promising federal support for the region, but he also put some conditions on the line, proud boys, capitol correspondent eytan wallace explains. >> president donald trump in california, governor gavin newsom warmly embracing each other as the president arrived in los angeles for his trip to get an up close view of the devastation left behind by the fires. i appreciate the government coming out in. the

political foes in this moment appearing to put their differences aside. >> during his remarks, trump brought up the need for federal assistance for california to get lot of federal help. >> but just a few hours earlier, trump heavily implied he will send federal emergency aid to california only if state leaders agree to the following conditions just one vote or it is a start. >> and i want the water to be released and they're going to get a lot of help. >> from the u.s. all of it, echoing trump's message on the campaign trail when he called for laws requiring voters to present proof of their identification and citizenship. for california's water policies, all the farmland, that's barron and dry. they artificially stop the water from going onto the land. governor gavin newsom on thursday pushing back on that claim very damaging. >> when people believe such

misinformation and i don't mean it the line sense they being present just doesn't know. that there's not us pick it. that can be turned to solve all the water problems that he alleges exists. governor's press office then shared this on social media, quote, conditioning 8 for american citizens is wrong. >> it's a sentiment echoed by most members of the state assembly and senate from both sides of the aisle. whatever issues that >> president i have with the noose and then with california policies, the people who have suffered from this disaster shouldn't suffer further because of that. so there shouldn't be unrelated strings attached. no, this is not the time for. >> for politics some political games and finger pointing. we need to come together to rebuild this great american city. and i urge president trump to provide federal dollars quickly without conditions. but san diego gop

assembly member carl demaio feels differently. he republican congressional leaders this letter. >> urging them to condition aid to california on more brush management. water management insurance reform, utility management and firefighter staffing. we've heard from some of your colleagues, democrats, republicans, he says no conditions just get the aid to the people who need it when an end. i i actually think that that is absolutely the wrong direction. the only way we're going to get change to save future victims of fires and disasters. >> to just save future homes from destruction is to demand that the policymakers clean up their act. >> and important to note the u.s. congress will play a large role here. house speaker mike johnson has publicly hinted he supports conditioning the aid. but as of now, no formal decision has been made reporting at the state capital late on wallace kron. 4 news. >> the senate being equally divided. the vice president votes in the affirmative and the nomination is confirmed.

>> state attorney general rob bonta. he's responding to president trump's executive order declaring there are only male and female sexes. california doj has your back. we support you have rights. you have protections to lgbtq+ community. >> has state rights and state protections, federal rights and federal protections. trump's order while certainly concerning. i can't change those right and those protections that you have and i will make sure to do everything in my power to protect your to defend your protections. >> president trump signed executive order but much of it requires more federal action. but this is california's department of justice will be ready to go to court if and when the law is broken. it is rumored bonta plans to run for governor in 2026. well, san jose residents listed homelessness is the key issue. they want city leaders to improve upon this year. now, that's according to a new survey mayor matt mahan released those results on social media saying, quote, we

are listening and taking action to build a stronger, safer. san jose. other top concerns include a lack of affordable housing and public safety. the marin county sheriff's office is introducing a new recruit to its specialized investigative unit. this is canine, kiki shoes, a springer spaniel specially trained in the detection of several types of drugs. the sheriff's office says kiki is able to detect the odor of fentanyl, heroin, meth and cocaine. she's named after kiki camarena, a dea special agent killed in the line of duty in mexico. the sheriff's office says kiki's favorite off-duty activities range from playing fetch to chasing squirrels. coming up in sports, details on a familiar face officially returning to the forty-niners. >> plus in the south bay, santa clara county's largest homeless shelter is back open this morning after some much needed renovations.

looking? >> well, good morning to you, stephanie. it's looking great. we have big change in the weather pattern and low pressure is what's happening for us. so low pressure is our dominant weather feature now. it is coming in our direction. >> and guess what? it's bringing a pretty good chance of some rainfall across the bay area. and across los angeles, where, of course, the fires have been raging rain is exactly what the firefighters need is a try to contain the fires. but in the meantime, for us, the rainfall will not be really impressive. not the totals you may not even see too many drops, but some areas could see maybe 2 tenths of an inch along with that area of low pressure. and the rain comes fog. that's for you. if you're in sonoma valley this morning through about 9 and a frost advisory is in effect and that is through 9 o'clock as well. you know what? that's for the interior bay area. freeze watch. now that continues in the mornings all the way through tuesday. mornings. so it's chilly and a little bit breezy. and with that wind chill can really bring things down. there's a

visitors, but clearly not immune to gunfire everywhere. >> it's not just the crest everywhere south of the you know, >> it so far no arrests have been made in vallejo. philippe djegal all kron. 4 news. >> a pulitzer prize winning cartoonist with bay area ties is out of jail with an ankle monitor after being arrested for possessing child prosecutors brought up 3 new allegations against darren bill. they're asking all of those devices be searched and that he is barred from having any contact with minors. investigators say they found more than 100 videos of child abuse linked to an account controlled by bell and that thousands more exist. they'll started his career as a cartoonist while attending berkeley and went on to freelance at the san francisco chronicle and oakland tribune. he's expected to be back in court next month. in developing news, alcatraz ferry workers reached a contract deal. they announced the results of their final vote yesterday after reaching a tentative agreement last

week. very workers have been negotiating a contract for years. they went on strike several times last year as the union cited wages and unfair labor practices. a message of gratitude for san francisco firefighters this morning. more than 50 crew members have been in southern california fighting the deadly blazes there as kron four's rob nesbitt reports a resident from pacific palisades got a chance to say thank you. >> on friday, the firefighters of station. 25 in san francisco got a thank you from someone whose homes survived the palisades fire because of their hard work. eugene quote, got a tour of the fire station and got the chance to shake the hands of several firefighters. he lives in pacific palisades where the palisades fire burned more than 23,000 acres. it was really chaotic. everyone was. >> everyone was doing the best and the fire was spreading fast and pass the throughout the day. and by afternoon it was spreading so fast that the entire area had to be after evacuation orders were lifted, he was able to go back to his home. he saw firefighters from station. 25 on scene.

>> working to protect his neighborhood. captain jonathan baxter says the san francisco fire department had more than 40 firefighters in southern california when the flames were at their worst. we just it was called the crew change. >> mean that we send fresh firefighters down to relieve the firefighters who have been there for 10 or 15 days. clock says without their efforts, his home by now be standing today. he's still not able to move back in because of smoke and ash damage. so while staying with family in san francisco, you want to stop and show his appreciation with me being a that created. i spent some time too. >> with my family here and i really the more i thought about it, i really wanted to thank them because they were instrumental in stopping the spread on our blog. otherwise all 24 houses would have been paying down, helps justify individual firefighters perspective. well, there battling a fire like they are right now and they're seeing destruction and devastation. this one story listen know that what they're doing is making a difference. the san

francisco fire department still has. 22 firefighters in southern california actively fighting the fires. >> reporting in san francisco, i'm rob nesbitt kron. 4 news. >> a group is organizing a signature collection event to recall francisco district supervisor jo ling that event takes place today from 11 to 2 in the comp and square. a terrible street and 23rd avenue and the sunset district. his critics point to his handling of proposition k and the great american highway project which passed last year as evidence as reason why they're trying start this recall against him. but and gardner says he is committed to addressing all of the concerns surrounding prop k. >> i'm being recalled because i supported the democratic process of letting the people have a say about what to do with their coast and the coast does belong to everyone. i understand that this is a big issue that people were opposed to. and there's a lot of concerns about traffic. so i'm committed to addressing those concerns and hearing all of

the residents who care about traffic in addressing those concerns. that's what i'm committed to do. >> the organizers have until may 22nd together 10,000 signatures from district 4 registered voters to trigger a special election. and new this morning, francisco supervisor steven cheryl is speaking out against a republican budget plan that could take away 3, 200 million dollars in federal funding for the presidio. now the fund a part of the 2022 inflation reduction act was approved to improve park maintenance in climate resiliency in that area. cheryl calls the presidio a national treasure. they're warning that cutting the funds would be an attack on a historic protected space. he is urging government leaders to oppose efforts to jeopardize funding for natural parks. pg e is offering bay area residents a new way to save on ev charging costs santa clara contra costa and alameda residents who have an ev and charged at home can enroll in a new program called ev charge manager it lets

he did not get them, he made it clear that returning to santa clara would be the next best thing. salas jets teams were 2036 in his 3 plus seasons on the job. but he's niners defense is were really some of the best in the league. he'll take over for nick sorensen who was removed after just one season in the position. head coach kyle shanahan. he's said that will promote klay kubiak to offensive coordinator. the team still looking to fill its special teams, coordinator position, which was held for the last 3 years by brian schneider. meanwhile. the reason there's just one team looking for a head coach still instead of 3 is that the raiders and cowboys both made hires today. san francisco native pete carroll is the raiders choice. according to multiple reports, carol. of course, the super bowl winning coach with the seahawks and lots of success in college football at usc he4spent last year as the seahawks adviser carol, back in the day, attended redwood high school in larkspur, then played

over the immigration issue. not just in the latino community, but among a number of other groups as well. the asian law caucus. joining other immigrant rights organizations this week to sue the trump administration over the executive order aiming to remove birthright citizenship. in a statement, the executive director for the asian law caucus says, quote, if your people, if you're born here, you are a citizen period. no politician, including president trump can decide who was an american and who is not. and there are heightened concerns with an immigrant communities in san francisco after someone reported encountering an ice agent on a muni bus. city officials have since said that rumor was not true. but as kron four's lezla gooden reports, fear remains. i caught up with the mayor de lory while he was visiting a fire station in san francisco. i dressed him directly about the alleged ice encounter on a muni bus. >> and how president trump's promise on mass deportation has many residents now on edge. here's how he responded

hostages reunited with their families marking a significant moment in the fragile cease-fire agreement. in the east bay. a canadian man is sentenced to 2 years in prison after he sexually extorted a minor in contra costa county. the district attornet's office identified the man as 25 year-old niholas fahy. he made contact with the victim over social media back in 2019, the he requested sexually explicit images of the victim. and when that victim complied, fahy threened to release those images unless more were sent. canadian police arrested fay. he had his home in 2021. and fairfield authorities seized more than 2000 plans from 3 illegal grow houses. this happened on january. 9th warrants were served for houses near south river. police say fairfield has problems with illegal grow houses citing 11 that have been shut down in the city in the past 6 months. san francisco transit officials say they're facing a major budget shortfall. sfmta is inviting the public to a meeting next week to discuss ways to raise funds. this

and we've been around that. 26 years since 1999. and it was founded on a prayer, really of a group of in our tribal individuals who came together who wanted to, you know, hold international to speak gathering in and really put forth that prayer and held it up. and it's it's just till today incredible. congratulations on the organization being around for. you're celebrating your 25th 5th anniversary, though. you i know been around 26 years, but you're celebrating 25th anniversary so that's a big and tell us a bit about what it means to be to spirit as well. well, to spare was a term that was created early in the 90's. and it was created by a group of elders that we're trying to give us. >> tribal community members a tangible experience to reconnect to some of those leadership, ceremonial and spiritual roles that gender diverse and genders, as sexuality, diverse folks felt pre colonization, ok and tell us to about the significance

of having an event like this and what it means to the community. >> i think it's a pretty profound experience to have. it's one of it is the largest to spear gathering here in the nation last year. we >> received over 4,000 participants. so creating a sacred space that's safe for all gender identities, all orientations and really uplifting our to spear communities. pretty profound experience for us in a very important task has mission. so there's a pow. wow, that is a central part to all of what typically happens at a powwow for those who may not be familiar to >> all just add quickly that, you here in california, california natives don't don't do that style power that we're doing. actually >> planes, paulo, which competition powwow. that includes singers and drummers and dancers and they're competing together and different dance categories and something that's unique about the bay area. american indian to spare powell was that we'd each gender the dance categories. so traditionally, those categories are gendered.

big drum is gendered. but here at bates to spare powwow, we actually allow we focus on the dance category and we accept powell dancers from all across the country and the world and and so i'll pass it. you could share. yeah, i think it just offers a space for people to interact with one another bild community in a safe and so sacred welcoming space. incredible. how many tribes would you say are represented at this event? we have a lot of international. we have a lot of national tribes, but we also have a lot of international representation from indigenous communities from all over the globe. and what sort of stories are told that events like these would you say? >> i think one of the biggest stories that are told her that witnessed is the return to community and the ability to build community and acknowledge one another's existence in a safe space. yes, but it which is i can imagine especially important at a time when there's so much disruption happening globally

an inch, maybe a few hundredths of an inch. but it's a start because you know what? there's a lot of drought, especially in southern california. they really need the rain and they will get more of the rain. then we do this weekend. but even we need some right after all, we are in the abnormal normal category in terms of the drought monitor. so it's about time we saw some raindrops. but again, for southern california when they really needed, they will get some. so here's how we're looking cold conditions and light rain for today and for tomorrow, much colder than normal. we bounce back toward the normal category on monday. and here is a look from the climate prediction center showing drier than normal precipitation. that's the outlook for the southern california, the southwest part of the u.s., in fact, then this sort of when you see gray, it's normal and you little dividing line between the greenwich is whether the normal and then the great, which is normal. that's pretty much right through marin county. so we're going to see a little bit more rain than we've been seeing. that's good news because it's normal to be seeing rain this time of year.

developing news up, a trust very workers reached a contract deal. the union announced the result of their final vote yesterday after reaching a tentative agreement last week. very workers have been negotiating a contract for years. they went on strike several times last year calling for better wages. and a message of gratitude for san francisco. firefighters this morning. more than 50 crew members have been in southern california fighting the deadly wildfires as kron four's. rob nesbitt shows us a resident from pacific palisades. but the chance to say thank you. >> on friday, the firefighters station. twenty-five in san francisco got a thank you from someone whose homes survived the palisades fire because of their hard work. eugene quote, got a tour of the fire station and got the chance to shake the hands of several firefighters. he lives in pacific palisades where the palisades fire burned more than 23,000 acres. it was really chaotic. everyone was. >> everyone was doing the best and the fire was spreading fast and pass the throughout the day. and by afternoon it was spreading so fast that the

entire area had to be after evacuation orders were lifted, he was able to go back to his home. he saw firefighters from station. 25 on scene. >> working to protect his neighborhood. captain jonathan baxter says the san francisco fire department had more than 40 firefighters in southern california when the flames were at their worst. we just it was called the crew change. >> mean that we send fresh firefighters down to relieve the firefighters who have been there for 10 or 15 days. clock says without their efforts, his home by now be standing today. he's still not able to move back in because of smoke and ash damage. so while staying with family in san francisco, you want to stop and show his appreciation with me being a that created. i spent some time too. >> with my family here and i really the more i thought about it, i really wanted to thank them because they were instrumental in stopping the spread on our blog. otherwise all 24 houses would have been paying down, helps justify individual firefighters perspective. well, there battling a fire like they are right now and they're seeing destruction and devastation.

>> the organizers have until may 22nd together 10,000 signatures to trigger a special election. and new this morning, san francisco supervisor steven cerel cheryl rather is speaking out against a republican budget plan that could remove 200 million dollars in federal funding for the presidio area. that fund a part of the 2022 inflation reduction act was approved to improve the parks maintenance in climate resiliency. cheryl calls the presidio a national treasure and warns that cutting the funds would be an attack on a historic protected space. he's urging government leaders to oppose efforts to jeopardize funding for natural parks and pg e is offering bay area residents a new way to save on ev charging costs. santa clara contra costa and alameda residents can roll and a new program called ev charge manager it lets participants know to plug in went great. demand is low so they can save money. if participants use the program for 3 months, they also earn a $75 gift card. the program also offers users a personalized dashboard showing

>> all right. welcome back, live. look outside at the bay and kathy trafton. what's up? >> it's great. but it's starting to clear out there was a lot of stratus this morning. now we can actually make a little sense out of that view from mount temple, pius, there is rain in our future fact rain for this weekend, but not a lot. and it's not really a north bay event. now, here's just a i'll guess in several different computer models have slightly

different numbers. it's hit and miss. so where you are, you may not see any raindrops it all. on the other hand, you might see some pretty good rain the next couple of days. it could be even a 10th of an inch, a few hundredths of an inch, maybe 2 tenths of an inch, but mainly a little bit further to the south. so here in the weather headlines and by 9 o'clock this morning, a couple of advisories expire. one is a dense fog advisory and that is for sonoma valley. also, there's another advisory and that is the frost advisory. and that's been for the interior bay area through again, 9 o'clock this morning. so was a really cold start starting to warm up just a little bit. a freeze watch is in effect through tuesday morning. and that's for the overnight into the early morning hours. and it's going to be really chilly. so bundle up. you definitely want to wear hats and, you know, layers and things. and also there's a wind advisory in that's mainly for the north bay mountains. and that goes through tomorrow. so you get the cold weather and the wind. oh, my goodness gracious. it's really something. it's a big change in the weather pattern,

isn't it? because we've been seeing some dry weather for quite a long time and above normal temperatures, all that changes cooler breezier and wetter. so nice again, a southern california that more than northern california. nevertheless, we get some rain drops, especially in the south bay. you start to see the rain drops coming through today and possibly tomorrow. not a sure thing everywhere, but you'll notice in southern california, that's where they get the bulk of the rain. and it last longer last through maybe monday. and also you'll notice snow in sierra nevada snow in the southwest mountains of california. so with that is good news for people who are one in 6 key. that might be you in the meantime, we dry for a few days and then here comes the next storm. another storm coming in. a slight chance of rain maybe thursday evening into friday may be on to saturday. so it goes through pretty quickly. but it's a little bit wet this weekend dries out a little bit wet again next weekend. and the storm doors officially open. so that's good news. dense fog advisory. here it is for sonoma valley and that is
