>> it really was a fun-filled weekend chase center, creating a lot of memories for fans. >> hello, everyone. welcome. thank you for joining joining us at 11, i'm catherine heenan, nba all-star weekend in the bay area has wrapped up of the best players. rising stars showed up to show off sporting events. some skills contest saw led to the biggest night on the court. the all-star game kron, 4 sports director scott reese joins us. he is live at chase center. scott. catherine, the 70 for the nba all-star game was unlike the rest of partially because we had san francisco flare not only the decor in the locale, but also the musical entertainment. >> but also because the format this year was a little bit 14, many tournaments. so that

story for him. they all got great receptions. another one. well, we talked about day willard, but and, you know, i love his story. as you see lillard there. i mean, he always gets a great reception when he comes back here. even back in new york day a guy who's from oakland, who really loves the bay area just has enjoyed coming back here. you know, yesterday at the the all-star practice that they had an oracle, ovation was almost as loud as steph curry's. and so, you know, he might be the second favorite for these fans after steph curry and a chance to ask dame after the game tonight. what this weekend was like for him coming back to the bay area. >> if you so many familiar faces in or out serious entire experience, want people to stay overwhelming it to i really grew up here. a lot of people just they want to show

love. they want to support. you know, it can be a but overall just advertise. it would have had experience the better. >> it was a great experience. i got a few appearances appearances around the city. i got to interact with a lot of fans and just enjoyed being in the city because i don't get out too much. so just going out and seeing stuff seeing how alive it is was really nice close to home because has a lot of people watched throughout my career bit. >> yeah. her jalen wells reference sonoma state there. you unfortunately he might be the last all-star from sonoma state. if you've been watching the news, they had to cut their athletic program. now he hoping that they can try and save that program. he's actually said he's heading up to sonoma to visit some of his old friends there tomorrow before it goes back to memphis and rejoins the grizzlies. but certainly he put on a great show as did all of the locals. yeah. as you said, one star shined brighter than all of them as he often does. steph

curry pulling up from was unbelievable. he was steph's night. we could not have scripted it any better. and now we can all tell our grandkids that we saw steph curry hit a half-court shot. and when an all-star game mvp right here in our home city of san francisco, that'll do it for the all-star festivities. it's been a great weekend. let's send it back to the studio. all right. you 2 did a great job. thank you very much. scott and ban. >> course there were fans who couldn't get inside chase center, but the fun literally overflowed and the shops and bars and businesses around thrive city. hundreds of people celebrating the fact the bay-area was hosting the all-star weekend kron four's check moment has more. >> hundreds of people were piling in to thrive city on sunday to celebrate the final day of the nba all-star weekend. it also gave many folks who call san francisco home a chance to show off to the world what their city and also the bay area as a whole.

>> a celebration for the end of a successful weekend in san francisco. the nba all-star weekend taking over the bay for the first time in 25 years. and you guys favorite part about the weekend. so just the festivities, the vibes, the coach people lined up early to go through security and check themselves into the chase center for the all-star games. it's the first year they're hosting a mini tournament. but those tickets inside they cost an arm and a leg. been really good. actually, countless fans just like this couple from fresno drove hours to be here in the moment, taking it all i always grew up or at lemon bay area big giants niners fan. actually grew up not really watching basketball, but the gentle warrior games to come on after the giants games. so brother grew up watching the warrior games and became aware everything was a celebration. some fans were upset. big games weren't blasted on the big screen at the front of the chase center. yeah, i was hoping they're going to play it. but it's alright. find somewhere. watch you guys find out that they were going to do

was injured while trying to break up a brawl overnight happened in the downtown area. >> their santa clara and san pedro streets. officers say they were attacked at one point they called for backup. citizen video shows a crowd of people watching dozens of police cars had to block off the road. several people were arrested. the injured officer is expected to be okay. >> the chp arrested 2 people in contra costa county accused of having more than 125 pounds of marijuana in their car this weekend. police say they pulled the driver over for speeding and then spotted garbage bags stuffed with marijuana. the driver and passenger were arrested on drug possession charges. still ahead, peace talks in the middle east continue. >> and secretary of state marco rubio meets with israel's prime minister. >> and a favorite charles

and children and everybody that's come to show the war in ukraine, again and he's our human losses. >> and back to rubio. he is reportedly bringing a delegation to saudi arabia for talks with russian officials on trying to end the war with ukraine. the u.s. says ukrainian leaders will be involved. that had been a question. >> they say, though they have not yet been bite us. >> all right. another look at the forecast. we're looking live at the transamerica pyramid, which they've been lighting up at times for all-star weekend. gayle is back with the details on the forecast. >> yeah, we're going to start off with some quiet weather this week and chance of rain. middle of the weekend followed by a warming trend. so we have a lot going on in the weather center but not as impactful as it has been in recent weeks live look over at san francisco. we have that same view. it's been really nice this weekend really look out with. >> nba all-star gains and chinese new year parade in san francisco is the transamerica pyramid lighting up for that

festivities. there. and we have some passing clouds across the state, but it's pretty much quiet in the bay area. we saw some rain this morning, some light rain, but in our future cast model, you see breaks in the clouds in the north bay, some cloudy skies over by the south bay. and we start to see patchy fog. you know, mostly clear and some clouds for your morning drive and that'll be the case for the afternoon. during lunchtime, we could see some cloud cover as well in the late afternoon. and then we see some clearing in the evening. so this is wednesday's forecast week. that's when that next chance of rain is expected wednesday and it should be out of here wednesday evening. a short one here. we could see some winds to go along with it. it's mainly aiming towards the north bay. but you could see, you know, a bit of some raindrops on wednesday. just keep an eye on that. not too impactful overnight lows in the 40's anywhere in the low 40's. if you're in livermore and santa rosa, but mid to upper 40's for the rest of you and our daytime highs. upper 50's and low 60's. very
