5:49 pm
as a weak weather system kind of slides into the stay. the brunt of this going to be civic northwest will see some much heavier rainfall. we're gonna see some lighter amounts here in the bay area. so yeah, much big changes compared to what we had for the previous storms. that's going to be very light. we're talking about the hundreds of an inch rain from that storm system. but overnight tonight, you're going to see the increasing clouds with a chance of showers as we head throughout the night tonight, especially into early tomorrow morning. i think morning showers mainly north of the golden gate bridge. but there may be a few wondering showers a little further south and partly cloudy and drying out in the afternoon. the weekend looks great, though. a much better weekend pattern as high pressure is going to build in. we're talking about a warm weekend ahead with some temperatures feeling spring-like and in the 70's right now, doppler radar picking up on some of that moisture outside. you see some of off the coastline to move into northern california as well. just begin in the clip. parts of the north, a few scattered light showers trying to pop up. not sure all that is hitting the ground but as we head through the night tonight, that will likely happen is going to see some of the showers moving on through winds. just a general light breeze out there right now. i
5:50 pm
think those winds as the front moves through. we get on the backside of by tomorrow. we're gonna watch those winds begin to ramp up as we head through the afternoon tomorrow. not too bad overnight tonight. remember last week we had some of those really ferocious winds. some of those winds gusting as high 80 miles an hour. this will be nothing like that. but by tomorrow afternoon, we could see some wind gusts 30 miles per hour in some spots near the coastline. so be prepared for that long range as a promising future ahead for us. as we've got this one week system kind of sliding through for tomorrow. that's get out of town behind that high pressure begins to settle in here as we get the weekend. yeah, this storm system is going to bounce. the north were to be left dry here. probably some 70's as we get into saturday couple passing clouds, not bad. and then a slight chance showers about the middle of next week even that doesn't look like an oppressive system. so all that being said, the long-range computer models looking at below average as we round out the end of february and then they start to pick things up again as we head in toward march temperatures tomorrow plan 50's and some 60 showers in the morning giving way partly
