bowling out their 12 in right rally into the city right now. >> on the bay bridge, while 13 along the san mateo, there were somerville's at 7 and the golden gate bridge. 19 minutes. time now. 601. and today in the east bay, alameda county superior court employees are going to go on strike groups representing those workers are standing up against what they claim of an unfair labor practice outdoors. joey horta is live in hayward with the details showing. well, good morning, guys. yeah, they're already starting to show up out here. the union members getting organized and getting set up for this strike. >> they tell us that they've been working without a contract since the end of december. and they're going to be picketing and watching out here this morning. so here's the issue. the superior court employees claim that there's a major problem with under staffing, which is delaying justice, according to the group, one in 5 positions are vacant. they say the courts using workers who are not trained fill those vacant jobs, including courtroom clerk. so the outcome they warn could lead to errors and

that could result in allowing defendants who are found guilty to go free and can also violate the rights of the innocent workers. claim under staffing will slow down the legal process by increasing wait times. they believe that will harm the public today. strike impacts criminal civil and juvenile courts here across alameda county, a quarter of clerks like caution, clark will be taking part. she tells us, as the ones keep the wheels of justice turning, we need to be prioritized by the court and state so we can do our jobs prioritize the public. so we've reached out to the court will let you know if we hear back the wall. it's unclear if this strike which is going to be happening during court hours, which is usually that o'clock whether that will impact how courts will be able to operate today. we'll let you know when that gets going. in the meantime, we're live in hayward. joey horta kron. 4 thanks a lot, joey. it's 603. and today bay area museum workers will rally in san francisco. young of the house, a legion

of honor and the sf moma and many more will be participating because they are demanding what they call a livable wage. a better transparency from museum management. and they're also concerned, they say, with the future, the institutions in the midst of a federal funding. freeze, the demonstrators will be meeting at the par. 55 hotel on several magnan and eddy streets at 06:30pm, tonight. >> community leaders in oakland are pleading with the city to rethink their budget cuts because they say they'll impact vulnerable communities. >> no no >> that was the rally at the fruitvale transit village. they're calling on oakland city leaders to stop the cuts that they have planned to make ends meet. there were various organizations taking part. they claim that these cuts will hurt the unhoused seniors, immigrants, young people and violence prevention meals on wheels is one of the

brenham lane. soles should over hours. neighbors still conference moment. the roar the next crash could be a lot worse. >> it was a multi vehicle car accident that shut down out with an expressway in both directions here on tuesday. the accident has many neighbors concerned that the next time that this happens, it will be deadly. home surveillance camera footage capturing the moment of impact. it shows a car heading southbound on alvin expressway, kicking up dirt from the center median before slamming into the car headed northbound. the crash happened just after one 30 in the afternoon and police arrived within just a couple minutes. so we knew that something really significant had happened and one person suffered minor injuries and the other is in serious condition as of tuesday night, michele ferrari came to see the damage for herself. very sound. >> you know, we further down in the albany area and this you can get some bad driving up in this for certain. she says she's not surprised by the crash. people that people

afternoon and the rest of the forecast remains dry and actually increasingly warm. so santa rosa north of there, specially that's where you're going to be seen. your greatest of rainfall totals staying below a 10th of an inch. nothing more than a few sprinkles elsewhere. and just a couple inches of snow in the sierra. this low does make its way mostly north of the region. high-pressure ridge building in immediately behind it. and this is what's contributing to that very dry forecast that we have for the extended future leading through the weekend and into next week. so today, easily going to be our coolest day of the rest of the forecast. a lot of us will hang on to those 50's throughout the day and a few areas rising still into the low 60's but not near as many as yesterday. you'll notice that slightly cooler field indefinitely under cloudier skies. so jackets on kind of day heyward right at 60 degrees. oakland at 59 conquered, you'll be at 62. same in napa and fairfield actually with santa rosa at 61. looking ahead tomorrow, already seeing those temps

ford has more. >> is someone that's very hard to define so many things. whitney bowers, the widow of andrew gonzales, says he was selfless soul crushing everyone's at a loss. it is unimaginable. what what is our current reality? gonzales, who is from santa rosa was one of 10 people killed in a plane crash in alaska earlier this month. the small commuter plane went down in the bering sea gonzalez who worked as a power generation technician had to travel a lot to small remote areas. so i was at home waiting to come from. landing from that flight. got a feeling check to flight tracker. there is no new information on it. and i knew something was wrong. bowers never got the call from her husband, andrew. his remains along the others was found by search crews days later. whitney and andrew both grew up in santa rosa and got engaged in moved to alaska

going have to give me some time to get it right. get it. i get it right. because things are out of whack. but i'll tell you what, on the fix. make that promise to a fix. >> at the alameda county administration building in oakland, dan kerman kron. 4 news. well, a domestic violence call turned into a police shooting and conquer any with the suspect dead. this happened around one 40 tuesday morning. congo. police say they responded to a report of a person attacking a family member. this happened on that home and drive off of busy willow pass road when police arrive. they found a man stabbing his family member with a knife. police then shot and killed a man and the victim was taken to the hospital. they are expected to survive. neighbors are telling us the violence is way too close to home. >> yeah, i was woken up because i pow, pow and i thought it was like from willow pass road that was going on like and i heard pop cars or whatever. so i thought it was all somebody chasing somebody or something down there that lets it. >> well, as a last night, part of the area was taped off and

officials continue to collect evidence. time now 6.34 nevado 3 people have been arrested for the kidnapping of a patient from a medical facility. it happened last saturday. the patient was kidnapped from nevada, a health care center by some people entered the back of the facility, took the patient and then assaulted a nurse who tried to stop them. they drove off headed towards south of auto boulevard and officers were able to find and arrest them of the person was not hurt and in the hospital. apparently police are thinking that they kidnapped that patient to fraudulently get control of in a court-ordered arrangement of their finances. 6.34 is the time and other news that we're following. a berkeley camera shop has lost thousands of dollars because of what was stolen and the break-in that happened is owner tells us she thinks a stolen car was used to ram through the entrance called fully juggle. has the story.

>> this is our neighbor's front entrance of that is the mirror image actually of exactly what our front entrance was. which is now, you know, kyra, and it looks like this now after jan. what accounts key says thieves used what she believes was a stolen shares surveillance video of the suspects ransacking the place she says they were in and out in less than 5 minutes and were gone before berkeley police officers responded just after 5.30, that morning. it's so much destruction >> i have no idea what all the costs are at this point. the suspects bypass the blockade in stalled out front, something her landlord added

district protesting tuesday against proposed budget cuts. they are. the school district says they need to close at 26 million dollar budget deficit order to reach that goal. leaders want to increase class sizes. they want to eliminate management, administrative and custodial positions. teachers and staff are now pushing back. >> i think a lot of us feel betrayed. because we understand declining enrollment. we understand budget issues, but we also understand that it's management's responsibility to ensure and safeguard our kids. well, a school district says they're going to work with the unions representing teachers and staff. >> but even if the district receives the desired budget savings could be more cuts and changes ahead. layoff notices started going out or could potentially start going out. march 15th. and the south bay, the san jose teachers association. they're calling for the san jose unified school district to make schools safer. the union is calling for safe and stable schools. follow what they say has been an uptick in incidents loving weapons and

social media threats across campuses. they conducted a survey more than 600 teachers and staff to say that better support for students and their safety is a top priority. the association says are introducing and including in their contract negotiations that our staffing behavioral needs and teaching conditions as well as safety. 6.38. right now and chevron is considering leaving california altogether. >> the oil giant just announced that. well, they say they want to stay, but certain laws passed in our state this air making it difficult for them last summer, chevron announced that they were moving their headquarters from san ramon t houston, texas, that after governor newsom called a special session last year and signed into law that required or companies to keep minimum oil inventories on hand. and then before that, the governor backed a plan to ban the sale. as you know, of all new gas-powered cars in california by the year 2035,
