high-speed rail project investigation is now full steam ahead on its funding. plus, a vote to close 3 north bay schools. that controversial decision out of santa rosa. and the future of san francisco's presidio trust question is president trump moves to eliminate federal trust? thank you for joining us here on kron for just waltman. there's a new executive order from president donald trump that calls to eliminate spending at the presidio trust in san francisco. >> congresswoman nancy pelosi along with the person trust are now bracing for a legal battle in response to trump's executive order. back in 1989, presidio national park was used as a military post and the u.s. army planned on selling the land. but a couple of years later, the presidio joined the national park system where nancy pelosi established a partnership an agency to manage and transform

the area into a park in 2023, 200 million dollars went to improving the park's infrastructure and making it what it is today. kron 4 charles clifford live for us now in the presidio with details on the potential impacts and also, yes, reaction from elected officials people in the area about this. >> yeah, well, good afternoon. you know, the presidio covers about 1500 acres here in san francisco. it is an extremely popular park. and by all accounts, it's a well run park. but president donald trump is looking to make some big cuts here. in an executive order titled the reduction of the federal bureaucracy. president trump has called for the elimination of the presidio trust. and if that's not possible by law, a reduction of its responsibilities, the former presidio army base was turned over to the national park service in 1994. in the presidio trust was created in 1996 by an act of congress. >> to manage the site, the presidio trust was also instructed to make the

presidio self-sufficient. since then, the trust has rented out former military housing brought in museums and small businesses and allowed nonprofits to rent space here. the presidio became self-sufficient in 2005 and has remained so ever since presidio trust. >> model of government efficiency. it's a self-sustaining agency. it make it in of profit. >> the pushback from local elected officials was swift state senator scott wiener says what the trump administration is trying to do violate the law. trump does not have the legal authority to terminate the presidio trust. it was created by an act of congress. so this move is illegal. >> and i'm confident it will be challenged in court. representative nancy pelosi who has long championed the development of the presidio said in a statement that the presidio trust is statutory. it has been protected from assaults over time by its statutory strength. >> we will be carefully reviewing the language of the president's executive order and its purpose along crissy

field in the presidio is northern edge. neighbor said on thrrsday that they were frustrated by the president's announcement. >> i can't believe that he would want to shut down the presidio trust when it's done such great work for our community and this area, i would very disappointed to see this disappear and turn into something else. >> the president's executive order requires that the presidio trust respond within 14 days. in a statement the trust said they do plan to issue a response and are confident that they are in compliance with existing law. all right, back live. now, the trust also said today that the park is fully open and operational that this executive order does will not have any impact on the park. >> at least for the time being. but for now in the presidio, charles clifford kron, 4 news. charles, thank you. >> san jose police announcing the arrest of 3 men for 2 different crimes. one of the men is accused of robbing a business several times in the span of nearly a year. police say friday spore first rob the store located in an ritter park drive east of 8.80, in

november of 2023. he's accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of items he was booked into jail for grand theft in another case, 2 men are being extradited to santa clara county on charges, including attempted kidnapping and impersonating a federal agent. police say denzel jones and trust out lot impersonated federal agents when they approached a san jose woman and told her she was being arrested. this was in november. the woman who is a bank employee was suspicious and the suspects then took off an investigation, revealed that they plan to kidnap her to commit a bank robbery. detectives identified the suspects and found out that they were being held in clark county in nevada for unrelated bank robbery. all right. watch where you walk. that's the message from san francisco police as the department wants people to be aware that utility covers are being stolen, which is leaning holes in the city, sidewalks, the san francisco public utilities commission has reported more

than 400 such thefts in the past 2 years. so if you see anyone removing or in possession of these utility cover, she should call police. and if you find that any utility covers have been removed or find locations where they should be, you can call 3, 1, 1, new video now of at least a dozen cars but their windows smashed in near a tourist site in san francisco. the cars were parked on leavenworth and greenwich. that's close to the popular lumbered, crooked streets. car break-in incident happened this morning and residents in the area say that spot is usually targeted for these type of crimes. >> person, a car in francisco for that 12 years. this is the first time it's ever happened to me. so that certainly had friends. entire 20 years. i've lived here. had the cars broken into. >> we hear not that much was taken out of the vehicles. we have reached out to sfpd.

we're waiting for a response. also this afternoon, a san francisco camera shop is recovering from a recent burglary video from this morning shows the damage left behind camera zone in chinatown. the owner says this is the second time in 6 months they've been burglarized. we also reached out to the police department here to learn more when we do. but what you know. >> we'll talk about our weather forecast to a live outside of the court shot here of the golden gate bridge. it is sunny and warm up there. it's a beautiful day. meteorologist koger get here now. >> with yelled that today. fantastic san jose. also lots of sunshine out there today. just beautiful. we do a little bit of a breeze going in spots in san jose is one of them little bit of a northerly wind there about 12 miles per hour. you can see as you head up towards hayward about 13 and 16 out of half moon bay. so a little bit breezy, but that will start to subside as we get into our overnight tonight. but wow, look at this storm tracker barely a cloud in the sky today. and as we zoom out, you do see a few clouds try to make their way.

and we've got high pressure that's building in right now. and for the most part, it will hold all of that off for quite a while. not just today or tomorrow, even into the weekend, but we will start to see some clouds spilling over time. so that's not stopping us from warning up that we just hit 70 degrees in santa rosa. i was thinking 70 by do it today in santa rosa. you just did it. but notice that dew, no doubt. and sunny, though, we're at 68 san carlos 68. you can see 69 in fairfield, 68 vallejo and even san francisco sitting at 62 degrees. so if you want to take the dog for a walk today, it's a beautiful day to do it. and using wannacry cause an example here. but we did have some upper 60's hanging out there for you to in the inner east bay. so enjoy that. and i'm happy to say that it's not like sometimes when i say do it today because tomorrow we've rain coming or something else know you can do it today. tomorrow, even saturday we'll have a few clouds will roll in. but these temperatures are going to be lovely. and we've got a really nice stretch of weather ahead of us. i'll be back in a little bit. we'll take a look at that 7 day forecast. >> thank you. a controversial vote will force 3 santa rosa

elementary schools to close and how the school board is considering even more closures. kron four's joey horta is in santa rosa. but the latest. >> brook hill elementary has been around since the 1960's serving generations of families and is now one of 2 elementary schools that are closing this june, the other school that's closing is albert bla elementary and a 3rd campus steele lane elementary set to close in june of next year. the future of other schools is still on hold after much debate and concerns from the public. the board in running out of time and had to in the meeting at 11, 30 last night. as a result, there is still no decision on whether or not the district will actually shut down both montgomery or elsie allen high schools. we spoke with a teacher today who doesn't know where she'll be working for months from now. >> lot of anxiety, a lot of frustration lot of mixed emotions, of course, that there's a lot of uncertainty. and so that got a crash is mail there's a lot of just uneasiness of what's next. you

know, we don't know what's next for any of us. and so it's just more of a waiting game, especially after the decisions last night. i can't think of anything more important, the planet and the children and they're inextricably tied. it breaks my heart, especially when i found out that it was because of funding. the district is facing a 20 billion dollar deficit forcing it to make some tough decisions that will impact the families they serve. >> and the board is also considering laying off employees in santa rosa. joey horta kron. 4 news. >> happening today, alameda county superior court workers are striking for a second day in a row and what they're calling an unfair labor practices after a full day of strike on wednesday. the workers say court management still is not hearing what they have to say. court management says the county is overstaffed by nearly 100 people. but a

union analysis is now showing that alameda county lags behind similar jurisdictions like san francisco and los angeles in a statement to kron 4 news, the court said that the union has refused. the courts repeated efforts to mediate and as the strike continues, it could help trials and delay hearings throughout the justice system in alameda county. the federal government is fed up with the california high-speed rail, the department of transportation is now launching an investigation into the project which could end with a withdrawal. 4.3 billion dollars in federal funds. california representatives have been vocal about the challenges both financially and physically to this project. in 2008 voters passed a proposition to release bonds to fund the high-speed rail which promised to travel 500 miles from los angeles to san francisco. 17 years later, not one stretch of track has been laid and the budget has ballooned from the initial 34 billion 2 more than

128 billion dollars. and now the route under construction is a lot shorter from bakersfield to merced, said a stretch that alone will cost another 30 billion to build. and that part might not even be done until 2033, the entire project was set to be done 5 years ago. >> california doesn't have the money to complete the project, even with the federal promises were made by the last administration. so the question becomes. what do we do? well, i can't make decision for the great state of california. but we do have to be responsible for the for the tax dollars that are spent from the federal government. protesters interrupted the transportation secretary's news conference today by chanting messages like >> our taxes are train in one poll that was conducted by emerson college in nexstar. that's kron four's parent company. californians are split over whether the state should continue to fund the

project. a slim majority. 54% said yes, the federal government would not shut the project down. it just would not fund it anymore. governor gavin newsom has been critical of the so-called train to nowhere in 2019 discussing the possibility of ending that la to sf promise and focusing only on that route between bakersfield and merced said the high speed rail authority reports the project has created more than 14,000 jobs and has contributed 22 billion dollars to the economy. mostly in the central valley. >> still ahead, here to talk playoffs beginning at irs. how will impact coming tax season. plus, delta offering to payout every customer on that plane that crashed. what to toronto. details on the no strings attached offer. to limit rate hikes from utility companies will hear from the bills offense.

making the announcement this morning on his 83rd birthday. >> 7 fellow kentuckians are sent the senate representing our commonwealth has been. they a lot of time. not on our. 8 com. my current term in the we'll be about >> so mcconnell will finish out his current term which ends in january 2027. talk about forecast now looking outside at a beautiful shot here at the embarcadero in san francisco. beautiful blue skies. sunny out there today. feeling warm kauai, opened up the windows this morning. i was like let's let that fresh air in and got to turn the heat to turn acs great. a full-out blue skies for everybody today. and not just today, but as we go through the weekend to. but i want to take a second to show you that

not everyone is so lucky today. look at this cold air that is gripping a good portion of the country. >> 29 degrees from boston to new york to dc but then take your eye down to nashville. it's only 22 33 in atlanta, everybody. this is just crazy cold, even dallas right now sitting below the freezing mark, if you can imagine you can see where that jet stream is just taking the dive down. we are so fortunate here on the west coast, los angeles in the 70's. we're in the 60's. so this is where you can see a good portion of the country that is, you know, 15 to 20 degrees below average in the good news here is that by the time we get to the weekend, we're going to see some of the same places actually go 15 to 20 degrees above average. so a big difference coming their way. but what a deep freeze that has a grip on the country right now. and meanwhile, in california, it's gorgeous here. we've got 60's out there. just beautiful. some spots already hitting the 70 degree. mark, let's take a look at temperatures. 65 in san jose. but we're at 68 in redwood city. you can see san francisco 62 67 in concord, pittsburgh, up to 69 degrees

and we made it to 70 and santa rosa and also in nevada now petaluma. so the north bay is really pulling into the warm station today. high pressure is starting to be in control. that's building in this ridge. and what that does is it protects us from other weather now, what we can some clouds kind of overshoot, that ridge, if it's not strong enough. and we do see a little bit of that coming to the north of us. and that will kind of happened over the weekend to just a bit. but not today. today, it's all about the gorgeous blue skies and the warm temperatures, as i mentioned, are not just today. we're going to run right through the weekend and into really the middle of next week, at least in keeping these above average temperatures going. and again, it's because that high pressure you'll start to see it here. building that ridge in allowing that warmth to come on in. and it has some staying power. so that's why it will be with us. not just for a few days, but take a look at your seven-day forecast. it's quite lovely. now the weekend we do have monday. it looks like a chance of some clouds kind of brushing us by, but really only bring maybe a couple sprinkles to the north bay.

nothing probably measurable to most of us. but that's what we'll just keep an eye on the rest of the 7 day forecast, though, is pretty spectacular. >> oakland police have arrested the driver suspected in the hit and run that killed a uc berkeley professor. a 61 year-old kurt with mueller has now been booked into the santa rita jail. the collision happened on february 3rd at the intersection of grand avenue in park view terrace in oakland's adams point neighborhood. police say that the professor michael broadway was in a crosswalk at 7.15, in the morning when he was hit and he died at the scene. he had taught at u c berkeley for nearly 50 years before he retired in 2023. in the middle tax season. nearly 7,000 irs employees have been fired. the cuts we're about to 6700 employees designed as probationary meaning that they were working for the agency on a trial basis prior to becoming full staff members. more than 5,000 of the fired staff members for auditors and

collection staff dealing with tax compliance issues, the treasury department and the irs have not responded to questions regarding the specifics of the firings. the chair of the white house council of economic advisors shared that the decision was motivated by government efficiency concerns. it's not yet clear how the layoffs will impact the current tax season. around 1000 national park workers have lost their jobs. the firings are part of president trump's plan to eliminate federal jobs to save money. the plan is being led by elon musk and the new department of government efficiency. the firings were not publicly announced but confirmed by democratic senators and house members. >> the parks are truly are treasured. never before had been other more threat mckee fighting and me and the thousands of buttered probationers that in turn a legally we want after this. >> after the firing notices were sent out on friday, the park service said on tuesday that will reinstate about 5,000 seasonal jobs. experts say a busy summer season

combined with under staffing will result in dangerous situations for visitors. local officials expect this issue to be taken up in court. >> it's possible custard, totally not thought through. they are going to do anything to really address the deficit situation. some of these firings we think are illegal. others are just wrong headed. there will be litigation by. >> federal employee unions and others. >> protesters against the firings are planning to gather saturday morning at the exploration center in yosemite valley. also today, the federal aviation administration employees have been axed as part of the mass federal layoffs. the president says no one with a critical safety position was fired as part of those cuts. reporter liberty simmons has the story. >> frustrated a almost a sense of betrayal, disabled army veteran and former faa

employee jason king says he was one of the employees fired in the mass layoffs. the kind of shocked that you can serve your country and want to dedicate, you know, the next step in your career to public service. >> and i mean, the way you can just so easily be tossed to the side. u.s. department of transportation secretary sean duffy says 400 out of 45,000 faa employees were let go. >> all of them probationary us dot released a statement saying in part the agency has retained employees who perform safety critical functions. i believe that's i my actual role in the faa was the executive assistant and i provided direct support to the director of safety himself. jason is concerned these layoffs will threaten safety at agency that was already understaffed. well, i was there to co-workers that i had were already stressed about budget cuts, you know, resources that need to be implemented. but the faa says it continues to hire an onboard air traffic

says the money has no strings attached. the airline says it does not affect their rights. so that means the passengers can pursue legal action against the airline, even if except the money. the plan also has now been removed from the runway. in national news. senate republicans are gearing up to vote on a budget package focused and president donald trump's policy priorities. this includes more spending on defense and border security. washington correspondent trevor shirley is in dc with more. >> the goal of house republicans is to give the president an early policy when while coaxing house republicans to join their efforts instead of pursuing a different budget effort that might fail. both the house and senate have their own budget bills in the works. but thursday, senators plan to push ahead on their version is focused on the border. >> it's focused on national security focused on energy earlier this week, president donald trump under cut senate republicans case. >> by signaling his preference for the house budget plan

>> over the last several years, millions of californians have seen their utility rates increase. and now a new state bill aims to limit rate hikes from california's investor owned

utility companies. capital course been a town hall spoke one-on-one with the bay area lawmaker who offered this bill. >> it's ridiculous, right? and so we need to do something. bay area state senator, i show a hob with that message about utility rates in the state. it comes after the california public utilities commission or cpsc approved 6 rate increases for pacific gas and electric or pg. and e in the last year alone. in fact, as pertains to the 3 major investor owned utilities in california, including pg e socal edison and san diego, gas and electric. this non-partisan state report released last month shows depending on the utility on average, a majority of californians saw a 48 to 67% increase in their utility rates between 2019 2023. outpacing the rate of inflation. the report concluding overall california has the second highest utility rates in america. i you know, i have seen residents share their bills where

>> it's $800 a month where summer it's $1000 a month, right? depending on if it's a single family home or they're renters right. and how can somebody do that when they're on a fixed income? that's why we'll hop says she's authoring senate bill 332, also known as the investor owned utility accountability act. >> if signed, it will prohibit investor owned utility companies in the state from proposing more than one rate increase per year. it would also cap proposed rate increases for residential customers to know more than the consumer price index. a tool used over time to measure prices paid by consumers for a range of basket goods and services. i'm >> deeply disappointed in the fact that rate pairs are being treated like a and lists bucket of money. just this week at this hearing on utility rates will grill to the cpsc president about the commission's decision to approve 6 p g rate increases in the last year. a year pg e reported nearly 2 and a half a billion dollars in profits shows on a fixed income. our

senior population, those on sir security, those with a even union jobs, good paying union jobs. do not get 6. >> increases to their pay. and yet. >> pg e get 6 increases to be able to pass on to repairs. can you explain? >> that and we're approving work for the utility, the work that the utility is requesting to do. it is paid for by repairs. repairs are think i'm just going to be very clear about that. for its part pg e wrote this, quote, we know that many customers are impacted by higher costs, including energy. >> we are taking action to limit future rate increases and stabilize customer bills, including reducing our materials and labor costs. more officially planning and executing work and lower our financing costs. our investments are delivering results to customers. and we're committed to building the safe, reliable and climate, resilient energy systems they expect and deserve at the lowest possible

cost. will hop, though, sending a clear message to utilities, republicans and even members of her own party. we are a democratic super majority and we can't deliver something as simple as affordability to the average californian. what are we doing now? also part of this bill, it calls for an audit into the use of utility equipment in fire-prone areas and it seeks to reduce the amount rate pairs pay into the state's wildfire fund. >> the legislation is expected to come up for its first committee hearing in the coming months reporting at the state capital late on wallace kron. 4 news. >> were live outside here to cruise ship the port in san francisco with meteorologist. >> kyla grogan here with details on beautiful day. they picked a good day. they picked a good day to be in san francisco. the temperatures are up. the skies are blue. and as you can see as we take a look at the flag here on the right side of your screen, the wind isn't that a little bit of a breeze but not bad out there. temperatures, though, wow, we've been up in the 60's here in san francisco. beautiful out there. san jose. 65. you can see santa rosa, 70

degrees. little cooler out at the coast there. half moon bay sitting in the upper 50's but still pretty nice. and the forecast highs today. well, we have exceeded them in some spots already. so it has been a banner day. and we are also, by the way, on this banner day, getting a little more daylight each day as we work our way towards our june. 21st, we get middle the summary that we have the most daylight. but today we've got 11 hours and 4 minutes. sunset is at 5.55. by the end of the month will make that 6 o'clock timeframe. when we start to enjoy a little more of our days. really nice get a day like today you can take a walk after work or something like that. some people taking a walk right here at half moon bay. in fact, i don't know when i saw this many people out there that was a holiday time. so that just kind of tells you how nice the weather is. when does i mentioned is a little bit breezy out there in spots, but not bad. still that northerly flow that we've had after a low pressure system rolled in and you could see a few clouds that are kind of working their way into parts of northern california. but really, for the most part, we're just going to stick with these blue skies today tomorrow as we get into the

weekend, the latter half of the weekend, we could see a few clouds build in but still does not stop those temperatures from being above average in just a really gorgeous forecast. back to you. all right, new here at 2 o'clock. >> research from a substance use treatment program indicates that gen z is cutting back on alcohol but abusing more drugs. a survey from addiction resource dot net shares 20% of adults under 28 consume alcohol regularly. but researchers showing fentanyl cues increased 47% in teens over the past year, along with rising rates of marijuana, psychedelic and stimulant use. in san francisco, public health officials are sharing details about overdoses while expressing concerns for one community. yesterday, health officials shared accidental overdoses are on the rise for the 3rd month in a row. there were 59 such death in january. they added that the african-american community is dying at a rate 5 times higher than any other community in

the city. >> to help the department is expanding access to medications to treat those addicted to opioids. in recent months, teams in san francisco have been responding to drug use hotspots from the tenderloin and then in the soma neighborhoods. but a new neighborhood is now seeing an influx in activity. kron four's. sara stinson reports that one supervisor is proposing a plan to make jefferson square park cleaner and safer. >> during the day, jefferson square park in san francisco is a go-to spot for dog walkers. but that night things take a turn for the worse cell phone video shows the park overrun by an open air drug market. well, they call it to some of the park. >> now, yes, it's a some people needed new you and blast site sebastien has lived nearby for nearly 30 years. he wants to remain anonymous for safety but feels compelled to speak out about how frightening the park has become in the last few months.

it's very scary because, you know, they have to schools and on here. >> we have out there early and people that live in the neighborhood. the effort to walk this park is located on goff street about a half-mile away from city hall. and next, a sacred heart cathedral. the school has put up no trespassing signs by their field pockets. a mess. now, all the neighbors been complaining, supervisor, beloved, mood, has heard these complaints from people saying the drug dealing has moved to the park from his district in the tenderloin. and that he are looking really good compared to even a couple months ago. but some things are getting worse. in other neighborhoods. decided to see it for himself walking the park with staff from the drug market agency coordination center or d mac. a task force with several different agencies. we didn't see any arrests that day because sometimes a lot of these things can be solved without an arrest. >> and that's something that the d mac organization knows and i saw firsthand that they are treating all types of solutions to help people suffering on streets as but

activists, marcus garvey has been here for 60 years. kron four's reyna harvey got an inside look at this bay area. landmark. >> between the pages of a book life, universe. 1000 words, countless stories home for black voices woven into the fabric of history. for more than 16 years. marcus books have been more than a bookstore. it's been a sanctuary, a movement, a legacy. >> and my parents started marcus bookstore. doctors rate julian richardson. they met when they were teenagers attending on scholarship booker t washington's tuskegee institute. >> what began as a printing press became a bookstore founded in 1960, in san francisco, fillmore neighborhood later found its oakland. so 1960, was when they started.

during this black history month, california legislative caucus today announced a package of more than a dozen priority bills. its members say will address. >> what they describe as injustices impacting black californians. one of the bills would authorized california higher education institutions to prioritize admissions for descendants of american slavery. another looks at pathways to help black californians retrieve family property is taken by the government decades ago. racially motivated eminent domain and then there's a bill proposing the cal state university system research the best methods that will help determine which californians are descendants of slavery. >> california is stepping up. >> we will continue to fight for justice and ensure the descendants of those who built this country get the opportunities we so deserve together. we will make

now. we've made it to 70 degrees in the north bay. we are so close in a spot like sonny bill right now. and in fairfield and vallejo, you see these numbers going up here. so obviously well, above average today with the exception about the coast or in the 50's. so if you want to get a little sunshine in your life, i just sat by the window during my lunch break. was getting a little fight a monday, right? it's a lovely time to do it. this is concord over the next few hours. you can see we still got some of those next highs out there in the upper 60's to get you outside and enjoy it. here's storm tracker 4 showing you that. we've just got one little line of clouds well to the north of us. but other than that, it is really just a blue sky bonanza today as high pressure starts to build in. and that is what's going to keep us warm and dry and just really nice. so tonight we're going to see mostly clear skies again. and that will mean temperatures will get down to those 30's. i think a little bit warmer. then we were expecting last night. so upper 30's to about upper 40's, so many inland valleys, the ones looking out for those 30's and then we look to the future here of what the weekend holds and next weekend

♪ i said i like it like that ♪ >> in the north bay capture cameras capturing black bear cubs at could mountain regional park. this is in sonoma county. the park says this is the first time in nearly a decade. cubs have been spotted at goodman. it estimates that the cubs are about a year old and there about to leave their mom pretty soon. there they the park says this is a good reminder that sonoma county is bear country and black bears are usually not aggressive. but don't feed them. if you see them. here now is a wild birthday celebration for a baby. baboons crews with the oakland zoo set up some special treats and enrichment for this first birthday party here. the young, bad even snagged a few extra mangos before the other monkeys got in there. my kids always loved

the monkeys. the little baboons cause the red. but, you know, they're so cute. happy birthday. now this hungry possum is going viral after eating an entire costco chocolate cake in omaha, nebraska, earlier this month that the family made this discovery when they followed some chocolatey footprints pointing to the thievery. the family tried to move the animal long, but they got worried and they ended up taking her to a vet. and it turns out that eating all that cake, have also saved her life. wild life. doctors found that she was suffering from unrelated lead poisoning. and now they're treating her and then the brassica wildlife rehab center is having some fun with this little viral moment making merch that says wanted cake bandit and they're going for about 30 bucks. but a southern california now on a mountain lion turned a quiet afternoon until wild chase. this is in ventura county, in the neighborhood here. the big cat leaping across rooftops

running between homes with animal control officers hot on its tail. the cat was eventually captured and then moved to a safe location. mountain lions are pretty common in the bay area to state wildlife officials say the incident is a good reminder to avoid keeping food outside because it can attract the mountain lions. just jumping from roof to roof. that wraps up on to do. do the full hour news together during prime news at 3? that's right. prime news at 3? that's right.

i'm not happy with the way that pg&e handled the wildfires. yeah. yeah. i totally, totally understand. we're adding a ton of sensors. as soon as something comes in contact with the power line, it'll turn off so that there's not a risk that it's gonna fall to the ground and start a fire. okay. and i want you to be able to feel the improvements. we've been able to reduce wildfire risk from our equipment by over 90%. that's something i want to believe.
