seen february 17th at about 07:00pm. she stands 5 feet. 3 inches tall. weighs about 115 pounds. she was last seen wearing black puffy coat, pink sweat suit and red boots. police say she regularly visits the area right around the san bruno avenue corridor and the surrounding fairfax avenue area. what we're learning about a small plane crash in concord, an official with contra costa county. >> tells a single-engine aircraft only the pilot aboard land at the buchanan field airport shortly aftrr 7 its landing gear was retracted. the incident did not cause any injuries or damage to the runway, but officials say the aircraft was removed on the runway reopened about 2 hours later. the fight between students forcing east bay high school on lockdown just before noon on thursday. police got a report of a fight involving multiple students at dublin high police to learn what started with 3 students attracted a crowd of the 50 to 100. one of those high schools was taken to the hospital. another was evaluated and treated. both have minor

injuries. police are still looking for what led up to that fight. >> and the north bay, a protest in sonoma county over the sheriffs refusal to support a measure that's designed to protect undocumented migrants. more than a dozen people rallied outside the finley community center in santa rosa. we're inside. sheriff said ian groom was addressing public safety with members of the hispanic chamber of commerce. demonstrators say the sheriff has been refusing to support a non collaboration with ice ordinance and that has them concerned about the safety of undocumented immigrants there in sonoma county. >> we should not be cooperating with ice not be helping in any way that people should be forcibly removed from their homes. >> well, we did reach out to the sheriff's office to confirm the sheriff stance on the ordinance. the officer did not answer the question. only saying that the office complies with state laws and based on the criteria they responded to 64 out of nearly

500 ice requests last year. schools have been given an ultimatum by the trump administration, get rid of programs that promote diversity, equity and inclusion, also known as dei or risk losing federal funding kron four's. rob nesbitt has the story. schools k through 12 colleges and universities have been given 2 weeks get rid of their diversity initiatives. >> programs put in place to help diversify a student body are viewed as discrimination by the white house, ending diversity, equity and inclusion is a precondition of receiving federal funds. the white house is threatening to withhold federal funds to schools that promote dei. this letter sent out by the department of education gives k through 12 schools 2 weeks to end race-based admissions, hiring scholarships or graduation ceremonies. vallejo superintendent ruben are yellow, says his district is one of the most diverse in the country. and federal funds are mostly used for students most in need. when we get funding like title one dollars this time, one dollars or really earmarked for students who need additional support.

vandalism possession of narcotics. will 2 bay area tech companies now facing a lawsuit accused of lacking safeguards against predators seeking to sexually exploit and abuse children. so the family of 13 year-old boy filed this complaint last week against san francisco based discord and san mateo based roadblocks. the boy's parents say their son had been communicating with a man who demanded nude photos and demanded nude photos and sexually explicit content from video game currency. a lawyer representing family says they want to hold these platforms accountable for the lax safety standards. >> we're seeking to have the companies do what they have been saying all along that they do, you know, which is to ensure that their safety for minors using the platforms and there isn't the aand it, whether it's reviewing our complaint and seeing the details. there were just doing research. parents need to understand that there's sexually explicit material if they have available to children on these on these pot farms.

>> as for the man who abused the child. the lawyer says that he had multiple victims in was caught by police last year and is serving a 12 year at the state capitol. the california legislative black caucus announced a package more than a dozen priority bills members say will help address what they are describing is injustices that are impacting black californians. one of the bills that authorize higher education institutions prioritize admissions for descendants of people who are enslaved. another look said pathways to help black californians, the tree family properties that taken by the government decades ago through racially-motivated eminent domain. and then there's a bill proposing that cal state university system research. the math is that will help determine who is a descendant of people who were enslaved. >> california is stepping up. as the california legislative black caucus. we will continue to fight for justice and ensure the descendants of those who built this country get the opportunities we so

american people. senator alex padilla says president trump is trying to distract from the harmful impacts of his policies. and senator peter welch argues he's a legally overstepping his authority. that'll trump has been on a lawless rampage. >> democrats say they are fighting back against the trump administration policies that they see as dangerous. but with republicans in control of congress, their power is limited. live in washington. i'm hannah brandt. all right. thank you, anna. >> it's 6.21. happening today. the man accused in the deadly shooting of united healthcare ceo is set to appear now in court this morning for the first time since his arraignment on murder and terror charges luigi mangione allegedly shot and killed brian thompson back in december before going on the run for 5 days. the nypd says it happened outside a midtown manhattan and joni has pleaded not guilty. thompson was shot on the sidewalk as he was waiting for an investors conference to begin today.

fell 9 and the golden gate bridge about 19 minutes. >> well, at least a dozen car windows were smashed at a popular street in san francisco. break-ins happened at levin's worth greenwich streets there near the popular lombard street is kron gayle ong brings us that story. >> just before 4.30, thursday morning, security cameras capturing a car driving in the area of leavenworth and greenwich in san francisco. moments later, this person in a bright hooded sweater smashes a window and dives in and out of the passenger side. we found william bennett covering up his broken windows hours later. >> person, a car in san francisco for that 12 years. this is the first time it's ever happened to >> and he is not alone. at least a dozen cars parked near his could be seen with smashed windows. savers ago. police spent the morning taking reports anything this scene of the auto break-ins right by the famed lombard street while

fleeing a traffic yeah. and crashing into an occupied home to infect antioch. police say that parents benjamin sped away from officers after being spotted with several vehicle code violations. >> he lost control and struck a resident's. luckily nobody inside was hurt, but he was located in a nearby yard and with help from drones and k 9 units, they were able to take him into custody. he was treated at a hospital and later booked on multiple charges. well, an open was convicted thursday of dealing firearms without a license and illegally possessing a firearm and ammunition. you can see on your screen just how much we're talking about following a week-long trial, a jury found robert davis guilty after evidence revealed he traveled between california and texas to buy the guns, which he then later sold on social media in 2021. officials found a loaded firearm and more than 100 rounds of ammunition in his home. davis is a felon and he was not allowed to possess these weapons. he faces up to 15 years now in prison and a
