7:15 am
have been running behind as far as your snow pack. so the central sierra like in yosemite getting some really needed snow out of last week. you can see the southwest is just dry, dry it out. and that includes the bay area. he didn't notice friday, saturday, sunday. and guess what? tomorrow is going to continue to bring this nice dry weather trend that we've been enjoying. but all is about to change, especially into wednesday of this upcoming week. futurecast shows you not just one or 2 systems, but 3 that will be impacting the northern part of the state. and that's not even including this first low. that is going to impact southern california with some light to moderate showers into monday and tuesday. after that, we do see a much more significant system. cold frontal boundary right here. diving into the bay area come wednesday. now we don't have any flooding risk really with this system. that's a bit of good news. but what we do have is some pretty decent rainfall centered up for the bay area in solid snowfall up in the sierra
7:16 am
being a cold front. this is not going to be one of those warm storms. it is going to result in some solid snow formation up in the sierra as well. so even more of that white step ahead. if you are heading up into the sierra thursday, a few lingering sprinkles before we work our way into friday. our second system pushes in this %ne with even more snow in the sierra and more rain for the bay. and it does look likely that a 3rd system just a parade of storms will impact us come sunday of next week. that's a whole week away. so still a little bit of variability in there, but it does look like each system will have equal opportunity of good, solid rainfall again for the bay area. first one resulting in over an inch of rain for the bay area will add up more on top of that into the weekend, too. so we've got some solid rain for the bay and a real solid snow in the sierra just around the corner. as for your temperatures today, we are looking at highs mostly in the 60's, gorgeous
