campaigning. >> in virginia. so three hours later after this all started, the man was grabbed on the 21st floor and hauled into safety. they grabbed the climber through a window they busted out. during this, they didn't want to make any moves that might cause the guy to fall so they were in this strange limbo on how to proceed. they got him in and even used a window washer on the outside of the building to make sure it didn't slide to the side of the building and might lose this giesm after he was hauled in. cheered. the man was taken from the building on a stretcher. no word on what charges he may face tonight. >> the 16-year-old boy accused of stabbing his little brother to death makes his first appearance in court. 16-year-old shea holloway will be tried as an adult. >> investigators say this attack came without any warning, no provocation. fox 10's danielle miller live at the fourth avenue jail where

holloway here at the fourth avenue jail. we learn today that he will be tried as an adult in the death of his three-year-old brother. >> this is a double tragedy for us. for myself, and for the family. we have two children that were taken away from us basically. >> that from bob cullup who we spoke with earlier this week of the grandfather of 16-year-old shea holloway who police say killed his brother saturday night. culp says that three-year-old is princeton who is also his grandson. >> princeton was the kind. child that could light up a room. he could. you hear that all the time, never hurt anybody. never did anything to anybody but just be a little three-year-old kid. >> holloway making his initial appearance in court today. court documents released give more information as to what

three-year-old brother from the second floor of their youngstown home to the first floor after this holloway ran downstairs, grabbed a knife from the kitchen and began to stab the three-year-old. court papers also show he stabbed his nine-year-old sister after she tried to stop the attack. fortunately she is expected to be okay. police say holloway did this without any warning. his grandfather can't believe it. >> he is the most -- one of the most loving kids have known in my l i will understand exactly what happened. >> and court papers state that holloway admitted to killing his three-year-old brother but did not say how or why he did it he is charged with second-degree murder aggravated assault and endangerment. reporting live, danielle miller, "fox 10 news." the fbi tonight searching for a man they have subbed the cyclical bandit.

two arizona banks almost exactly a year apart. both robberies he is seen strikingly similar shirts and hats if you have any information on this case, call the fbi. neighbors in the east valley upset because they say they have endured power outages not once or twice but six times this summer and you know how hot it's been and all because of problems with an underground cable. steve krafft tells us srp says it's brought power back to the people. >> srp says power interrupted to 500 to 600 people on and off this summer in mesa. in an area from gilbert to lindsay, superstition freeway to baseline. customers say about half dozen power outages. >> six times in how long? >> within a month, less than a month. we had them -- and they are for like 12 hours, 11 hours. >> what kind of hardship does it make for you? >> trying to live in a hot

you can't sleep. you can't do anything inside the house. >> some neighbors say they lost money on spoiled food, medicines. no power for the fridge. >> how much have you lost? >> about three grand. >> $3,000? >> correct. >> food and medication. >> food and medication including everything that was out in our deep freezer as well. >> srp says it's been a tough problem to fix. >> this is part of an underground cable replacement program we have been working on for quite sometime what caused the problem is that -- in that section the underground cable failed quicker than we expected and the weather and the moist ground all of these things are contributing factor. >> srp says it's installed a temporary above ground cable until the underground one is replaced. and says it will work with customers who have suffered losses. >> we don't want our customers to be frustrated or without power. that's what we are in business to do. >> so the power is back on. looks like for good. meanwhile srp is still working

cable four feet beneath the surface. neighbors just want the power on. reporting live, steve krafft, "fox 10 news." thank you steve and crews called to a water rescue in pinal county this morning. this was south of florence, a man was trapped in his truck. after the wash over flow. the 32-year-old driver called 911. the water was rushing into his vehicle and it was rising so he was getting even more nervous as the minutes went by. search and rescue reached the scene. the driver was standing on top of his truck. obviously the water had gone down at this point. they were able to get him to safety. we are on monsoon watch again tonight. awaiting the arrival of possibly heavy rain. skyfox was out this morning capturing scattered showers around mesa. a big part of the state remains under a flood watch tonight. >> and check out this storm over sedona. this is gorgeous? you know one of my favorite

during the monsoon. the red rocks getting wets that dark cloud just falls -- brings all of that water down right over the rocks. it almost looks like a painting. >> doesn't look real. amazing. >> it really let loose in sedona today. got plenty of rain. >> here is another look as the morning storm moved through. jim branten captured this picture from the florence military reservation and you can see the clouds and rain and the shaft of rain in the distance. this is near globe. we saw some of this today. it scattered showers. >> some areas got it, yeah. >> the big question is how much more rain is on the way? and when? >> dave joins with us a look at the radar. it's so humid and think any moment all hell will break loose. >> if you take a look at the map and look at the early stages of it it doesn't look too bad but things are growing. you see this development here. look at the development down here. over the last hour just starting to blossom quite a bit. take a look in the east mountain

very nicely as we take a look down toward the city here a little couple of little echos trying to make it into the city. we have the stuff south of us and we had it earlier in the day today. causing a few problems. big problems up north of the city on the day today and they did get some good rain up there. that's 1.6 an inch there and 2-inches to the northeast of black canyon city. we get up into the sedona area and b, echos going through that area. south of there we picked up a little over two inches and then there is 1.2 of an inch. and then up a little bit to the northwest of there and you get 1.3 of an inch as well a lot of moisture coming down in those places. as you look at it right now, you see not too much threatening the valley, but the valley does have a threat out there also we have some watches and warnings. we will give you a look at those

yesterday's heavy rain hit one area particularly hard and they are still cleaning up the mess today. this is gold canyon at the golf courses out there. take a look. >> the gold canyon golf resort was dumped on yesterday in a short amount of time they saw a lot of rain which led to serious flooding came up so fast that we did everything that we could to alert the guests that kind of congregated in a certain area over here that was safe on the golf >> -- the director of golf at the resort told us they waited 45 minutes for the weather to pass. two golf courses at mountainside hotel that are just three minutes from the 60 were devastated. today crews are working to clean up debris and clear the golf cart pass at dinosaur mountain. >> it drains really well on this side. mainly it was a lot of debris on the golf cart pass. some of the fairways, some of the bunkers.

nothing infrastructure-wise. >> while they tried to clean up the two courses they are just grateful things weren't worse. >> thankfully nobody was hurt. that was our main priority. and we got everybody off the golf course safely and here we are today in the sunshine and we came out of this fairly unscathed on this side. >> that's good news for everybody who plays golf out there dinosaur mountain expected to open tomorrow while sided wither will most -- side winder will be likely be closed through friday. phoenix police officers. two horses on the loose near 35th avenue and durango this morning. and they ended up going their separate ways and one of them was spotted running in and out of traffic while officers tried to figure out how to corral the animal. >> how do we prepare for that? best we can do is provide traffic control until we are able to lasso the horse. >> witnesses who spotted the horses stepped in to help.

suspect. he is being described as a lanky hispanic man with dark hair in his 20s. but police aren't ruling out the possibility that there may be multiple people who were involved in the shootings. at this point we have recovered bullet casings or police have recovered bullet casings from three of the crime scenes. they also have vehicle descriptions provided by several of the witnesses at those shootings. earlier we spoke to mike upchurch, the head of the phoenix chapter of the guardian hopes to achieve on their walk tonight. >> the goal is to get the public informed. also to get somebody if they know something, say something, know anything about this, there is a $50,000 reward on this guy. we are empowering the community to take back the community until -- and tell this serial killer we are not standing for it. we will do what's right and you will go to jail. >> police are asking that anyone with information contact silent

well, hi, folks still at the 100-degree mark here. winds southwest at eight miles per hour. a few clouds in the background. and storms build a little bit around the state. right now 100 as we mentioned at sky harbor. 97 at fountain hills. 96 in cave creek. 101 in ahwatukee. in glendale it's at 100 degrees right now. and as you can see we continue to bring the moisture in to the state and it's kind of expanding just a little bit r we get you to look down at the city and we have a few echos that would like to get in here. they evaporate out. early in the day and just recently you can see some stuff happening to the south of us here running across the desert floor. there is tucson right there. that moisture sneaking in on that southeastern corner where a lot of our monsoonal moisture comes from. as we get you to look at the show low area, there is heber right up there. they see a little bit of this action through the day as well

area, look at tuba city, some good storms running through tuba city here over the last hour and continuing to hit the area. flagstaff area picking up a couple of inches of rain just a little south of there. and that is the black canyon city area not too much going on and then here is the city right in here with some stuff encroaching earlier in the day and of course keeping the flash flood watch going for the northern portion of the city. the central portion of the state and the souther state with a couple of warnings for flash flooding mixed in. this one until 7:00. this one ending at 6:30 this evening. and as you can see we have a few of them hanging around here through the night tonight and this is the future cast. here is phoenix right down here. we put it into motion and you see a little bit of action through the night tonight and also through the day tomorrow with those storms getting very, very close to phoenix and then take a look at this one on

before noon and pretty big storm system and then things get on out of here to get us ready for friday and continuing on. so we look at the high today at 101 degrees. some triple digits around. we do see some upper 90s in there as well. we got some 80s across the mountain. 75 in flagstaff. nice looking day up there with the exception of the rain that they had. they had some good stuff. 101 for the high. 105 and 83 will be your normal high and low. there is your record high at 116. your record low at 68. forecasting for tomorrow, 94 degrees. so we get back to the mid-90s and you can see a lot of mid-90s kind of hanging around in there with that. couple of storms across the country. one up across minnesota. one across areas of new england. and this is the big one, up to 6.9 inches of rain for some folks in the gulf states with

one killed- it's the three people are shot and one killed it's a result of what police say an ongoing dispute between neighbors and it happened just after midnight in a neighborhood near thunderbird and 12th street. anita roman reports both the police and the people who live nearby say that at least one person involved was no stranger to the >> it was boom-boom-boom. >> the shots rang out around midnight. >> my yard is a crime scene. >> three people rushed to the hop after bullets when flying. >> see the little wall there where the person with the red shirt, there right in that area is where they were shot. >> terrance says his roommate, a 65-year-old man was shot in the leg after trying to help. according to hensley and the police, it started with an argument between a 42-year-old woman and her 35-year-old neighbor.
