an arizona rancher died in a shootout toward the end of the standoff in oregon. officers shot lavoy finicum after they say he reached for a loaded gun. investigators declared that shooting justified back in mar -- march. a woman in a wheelchair was hit and killed by a drive. she was in her 50's she died at the hospital. if you think you may have seen something, you are asked to call phoenix police. a man posing as a police sexually assaults a woman in the downtown area near n.a.u. campus. the victim and a friend were in a parked car when a suspect walked up to the car claiming to be a police officers. police officers say he took the woman to a secluded area and sexually assaulted her.

busted on suspicion of d.u.i. he went to the building near 83rd avenue and mountain view to get his vehicle. they said he smelled like alcohol and urinated himself and he urinated on the wall of a police station. he is facing counts of indecent exposure. parents of the students of upset and worried about the maintenance workers because they are inmates from a local prison. they work to keep their grounds up to par and while the program has been going on for almost 15 years, parents at the school say they have no idea that their children were in the same proximity as prisoners. one school assured them that the children were not in danger but

enough. >> they work on summer break. they provide a ton of services that is outside of the time a student would ever be at school. >> fox 10 has learned it is not uncommon for school districts to use inmate labor but parents take no comfort in knowing that. border patrol agents near tucson discovered interesting cargo. they arrested an american citizen while patrolling the i-19 check point when they found two mexican men hiding in compartments of the vehicle. the compartments were a dangerous place for the men to be hiding because they would be trapped if through with an emergency. they are holding the driver pending charges. this is unusual. another group of border patrol agents near nogales seized more than 14 pounds of pork that was wrapped in diapers and stuffed inside of a suitcase.

$300 penalty. agriculture specialists are on the look out to keep people from bringing prohibited products into the u.s. a curfew is going into effect at 10:00 in milwaukee for all teenagers after violent protests over the weekend in response to a shooting death of a black man by a police officer. an 18-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the neck. it is unclear who shot him. the man seven userses -- officers were hurt by flying rocks and bricks. the violence is over the shooting death of sylville smith. police say he ran from them during a traffic stop and turned toward them with a stolen gun. an autopsy shows he was shot in the chest and arm. the mayor of milwaukee is calling for for officer's body camera video to be released.

about 20,000 are rescued during the intense flooding in louisiana. nearly two feet of rain fell in the southern part of the state. more than 11,000 people are in shelters and president obama has declared a major disaster in the area. one group of volunteers from the valley are driving an emergency response van to the area. >> outstanding work to all of the people involved that is what you call yourself on the line like that. i guess i feel like i'm giving something back. >> the volunteers will be in louisiana for two weeks. more than 500 red cross volunteers are headed there to help out. a fast-moving wildfire has destroyed 175 homes and an animal rescue groups are treating pets left homeless by the flames.
