fight and shooting leaves one person dead and another in the hospital. the shooting happened overnight in a bar near millen and base line. kristy siefkin joins us live with the latest. >> this happened a few minutes ago. investigators say that three men were involved in a fight. one of them was killed. a second man is in the hospital and a third man was caught by police while fleeing the scene. gunfire breaking out last night at the final round spos and grill in tempe. police tell us that around 11:00 a brawl started outside in the bar's parking lot near baseline and mill. shots were fired soon after. >> i see two gentlemen arguing and the guy who had the gun shot the other gentleman he was arguing about five times. one man was shot and killed at the scene. another shot multiple times and rushed to the hospital in serious condition. brandan casey owns wood shed one, a sports bar and grill

his bartender's girlfriend was working at final round when the incident happened. >> she said there was some sort of biker situation and they were asked to go outside and they went outside and just little later they heard shots. yeah, crazy. all of the regulars were in there and hid on one side of the bar. this neighborhood doesn't usually attract bikers. locals were surprised to hear there was a shooting at the neighborhood hango people come on outside and sit and eat and do whatever. >> it can happen anywhere.& probably want to come here at night time now. >> this morning final round posted on its facebook, quote, the victim was not a regular patron. however, several people that we all know and care about were either at the bar or working. this has been a traumatic event for everyone. >> police will continue to investigate and will decide if

reporting live, i'm kristy siefkin, "fox 10 news." in a fox follow-up a registered sex offender who got away during a standoff with pinal county sheriff's deputies has finally been recaptured. john bowman was found in scottsdale after reports of a suspicious person wandering in a neighborhood. deputies say on monday bowman threatened his girlfriend and then barricaded himself inside. the woman told investigators he was threatening to shoot deputies. they say that somehow even though the house was surrounded. he rode a bike to san tan valley and stole a pick up truck. he is now facing charges including aggravated assault. the fbi is searching for a man who robbed a chase bank in phoenix. happened this morning near central and osborne. investigators say the man showed a note and demanding money. he did not show a weapon. he was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money. nobody was hurt if you have information on this guy, contact

480-witness. a valley teen learns his punishment for causing a rollover crash that injured four people. miguel maldonado sentenced to eight months in jail and five years probation. after pleading guilty three counts of aggravated assault. police say last july the teen drove drunk and ran a red light and hit another car. he was only 14 years old at the time. one of the victims was a little girl. a first alarm fire turns dangerous. five phoenix firefighters rushed to the hospi morning after breathing in some toxic fumes. toxic amount of chlorine. haz-mat crews were called out to help treat those firefighters and now assess the gear they were wearing. anita roman explains. in addition to caution tape, firefighters put up a warning around the water paniks warehouse off mcdowell road at 32 street. >> heavy smell of chlorine-type of a smell when we first -- like a bleach-type of odor.

team. the chemicals inside proved too dangerous. >> and this is basically a result of you got super heated chlorine gas. >> when you do get a heavy dose of chlorine it can go into your lungs and produce an acid inside your lungs when chlorine mixes with water will produce an acid and that's really bad. >> five firefighters were treated for smoke inhalation and other breathing problems on scene before they were rushedded to the hospital -- rushed to the ho of the haz-mat team's truck is back. >> i'm a little scared. so i see a lot of, you know fire trucks and i'm wondering what's going on. >> pedestrians were kept away and mcdowell road was closed to traffic for a few hours as clean up continued. the fire department says it had to take every precaution to make sure no one else got sick. received breathing treatments at the hospital and will be okay.

a sixth firefighter was taken in he sustained a knee injury while fighting the fire. the cause of the fire remains under investigation. yesterday we told you that donald trump had replaced his campaign manager really shaken up his staff kinda late in the game. so what advice is kelly ann conway giving trump? she has told the prg candidate to be authentic because that's what americans appreciate. fox news reporting tonight that trump will travel to tomorrow to tour areas damaged by flooding. the president has not even visited there at this point. in the health watch, a new scare involving the zika virus. >> doctors in brazil believe that a cluster of recent infections may have been transmitted through blood transfusions so this is kind of getting even worse. researchers say a donor alerted a local blood bank of zika virus symptoms that had developed two days after giving blood.

this is always such an amazic sight is the drop -- amazing sight. dropping the fire retardant trying to stop the flames. an army working to get a handle on the blue cut fire. burned through 49 square miles in the san gabble mountains. gabriel it's one of several uncontrolled wildfires burning across the state. more than 1,000 firefighters are working hard to get the blue cut fire under control. it's burned through more than 31,000 acres so far destroying dozens of buildings and forcing tens of thousands of people to evacuate. the fire tearing through the canyons east of los angeles fueled by high winds, intense summer heat and extremely dry conditions. >> the fifth year of a very

as in ken whisenhunt. the former head coach of the arizona cardinals. coach whiz now running the offensive board the offensive coordinator coach. had a heck of a run while with the arizona cardinals. some good years. made sure to visit with larry fitzgerald. he put up big numbers while ken wizen hunt was there. we can't forget ken whisenhunt is the only coach in the history of the franchise to take this team to the super bowl. he really helped change the culture i he turned things around. i talked to ken whisenhunt about his days in cardinal red. >> so it was great seeing him. not just -- not obviously not as many players on the team, but still a lot of the staff. you get a chance to see them. it's been good. have been happy to see the success the team has had. >> what kind of memories when you see the cardinal red on the practice field. >> it's a little different for me to be honest. our quarterbacks wore red

past hour. this is cave creek and thunderbird. the woman suffered wounds to her chest and stomach. police believe the shooter is the woman's boyfriend. officers are searching for him tonight and investigators say there is no indication this is related in anyway to the serial street shooter investigation that is still ongoing. a murder investigation at an l.a. fitness in the east valley after a man is found stabbed inside of a parked car outside of the building on dobson near warner. it's not clear what led to the killing. marcy jones is live now with what we are learning. any new information tonight? >> nothing quite new from the last time we talked at about 5:00. there is an eerie feeling in this parking lot as members of l.a. fitness come in and out and share the little information that we do have. there is not a big crime scene left here as the car where the victim was found. that just got towed about an hour ago. the investigation into exactly what led up to this man's death is just beginning.
