boyfriend with her car. the video is caught on camera. andrew hasbun in the court today. tough to forget this video. andrew, what's happening there? >> the video a big part of the case, she pled guilty and was sentenced to six and a half years in prison. the video, we want to warn you is graphic. it shows the victim riding her biological, and then wilke driving straight toward him and speeding up as she hit him. this happened back in april. the victim flew over the car and land he ended up seriously injured but alive. she told the victim was her boyfriend, and just before she attacked him with her car they had been in an argument that started because the victim told her he had hiv and was laughing at her. in court, the judge said there was no excuse for the crime. the victim was not in court, but wilke was able to speak to the judge just before he sentenced her.

you're watching fox 10 news at noon with troy hayden and syleste rodriguez in hd. well, the united states now home to more than 10,000 syrian refugees and more of them landed in san diego than in any other city. america's finest city, and the nation's eighth received 626 syrian refugees since october of last year, which is more than any other u.s. city. other welcoming towns were eerie, pennsylvania, toledo ohio, and boise, idaho. the international committee says refugees are typically assigned to cities where they have family and friends. it was supposed to be a routine test of the spacex rocket. instead it goes wrong when the rocket explodes right there on the launch pad. it happened this morning in cape canaveral florida.

up from there. now, spacex is a private company ta nasa is contracting with to do a lot of the space flights. we don't have the shuttle program anymore. this very same rocket was supposed to take off into space on saturday carrying an israeli satellite. an unbelievable story to share with you, a woman in new york says she hasn't stop crying after another airline took her child to the wrong city. jetblue staffers presented her with a child that wa not hers. that was at the kennedy airport. her child showed up in boston. both unaccompanied children boarded planes in the dominican republic, and now the children have each other's passports.

one of those days where things are starting to build here. by noon hour showers on the march all around the valley. white mountains are busy right now, stretches all the way up into flagstaff, westward into mohave county, this is one of the busiest parts of the state now, north and west of kingman. it's going to be that kind of an afternoon. we'll have to keep our eyes on the southern skies, everything is drifting its way up from south to north. we'll keep an eye on all of weather as the afternoon wears on. things are starting to really pop. here's a bit of a closer look. not much happening in the valley right now. you have got to really troovl -- travel to catch it. as you widen out a bit, things are starting to pop all over the place. keep your eyes to the south. 100 right now along the colorado river, 91 in sanford. around the rest of the country,

ones. for the south, 96 in new orleans, about the same in houston, big trouble in atlanta, very warm there as well. but the rainfall totals have been very, very impressive, and of course they are all associated with the storm that we have been watching there along the southeast and up to, again, 10-12 inches of rainfall possible with this tropical storm, hermine. look at these rained bands, very, very they will be sweeping their way on up really from the central coast all the way back up toward tallahassee and then westward towards pensacola. and the rainfall totals in tallahassee are going to be very, very impressive. this is the expected track of this storm. it's again likely to move it, so right across the florida peninsula, grind its way up the east coast, losing a lot of its punch along the way, but it
