suspect at this time. we are gathering more information and have a crew on the way to the scene and will keep you updated if we get morning news on this during the show. >> another news alert as two people are found dead in a sun city west home. police are calling their deaths suspicious. this happened in a neighborhood near 147th avenue and futura. police are waiting on getting a search warrant to enter the house to start investigating. neighbors say people was having a hard time dealing with the loss of his late wife. >> i just -- i don't know exactly what happened here, but i know he was taken things pretty hard when his wife passed away. they just couldn't have been nicer people. >> still no word tonight on what led to their deaths. the victim's identities have not been released. we will keep you updated as we

in other news ash valley man is home from the hospital today after spending four and a half months there. >> he was struck by lightning while out riding his horse. not too far from his family's ranch. and today he got to meet the man who is credited with saving his life. >> danielle miller joins us live with more. >> this man has been in the hospital for four and a half months after being struck by that lightning and he was just released yesterday. today he met the man his family calls their guardian >> my family, thank you both for coming for me, coming from my heart, thank you. >> it's been a long and emotional four and a half month for jaime santana. today just one day after being released from the hospital, he is meeting the man that is credited with saving his life. >> i wanted to meet this man. i wanted to meet him. i wanted to be with my family and for me to findally sit in

i don't know i can't explain that. >> robert bieber performed cpr on santana after he was struck by lightning while riding his horse in buckeye a half mile from his family's ranch. bieber says his skills from being a volunteer firefighter for 18 years kicked in quick. without those skills, santana might not be here today. >> more than likely not because of the time frame for the fire department to get there. we hadn't seen him we wouldn't have gotten ahold of 911 when we did to g >> god put me there at the right time for a reason. >> this whole process has been bitter sweet but in a way he is thankful it happened. he says because of this traumatic since didn't. he and his father now have a relationship. his entire family is closer and he will become a better person. the gift of a second chance thanks to robert. >> for me to get better, be better at home, be better with my family, be better with everybody.

they say it's perfect, you don't know what you have until it's really -- until it's gone. >> and san tan says doctors have told him it could take possibly a year for him to fully recover. he and his family are definitely hoping that happens much sooner. santana telling us he is actually excited to get back on a horse. reporting live, danielle miller, "fox 10 news." nearly 200 fugitives are now in jail thanks to a long investigation by the u.s. marshal's office. >> among those in jail include people who are wanted for kidnapping and sex and drug offenses. now this all happened today. the u.s. marshal's office able to seize 15 grams of cocaine, 60 grams of heroin and 24 ounces of marijuana. they were able to seize 22 guns. marshal's office say they do these operations often to keep the community safe. >> we do this on a daily basis.

group and large task force to go after what we consider the worst of the worse. those individuals that are committing violent crimes in our communities. >> $13,000 also seized in this operation. they did a similar operation back in april where they arrested more than 200 fugitives that time as well. a deadly crash involving a motorcycle early today on the i-17. dps says the motorcyclist veered off the road and hit a chain link fence. there is no sig impairment being a factor here, according to dps. the off-ramps on the i-17 at greenway and bell road were closed for a few hours. dps troopers say that they don't know why the motorcyclist veered off the road in the first place. a haz-mat situation in maryvale today after two men accidentally spilled mercury while out cleaning up a neighborhood. the two men found a bag filled with the liquid metal in an alley where they were volunteering. one of the men dumped the

it's 96 degrees right now. calm winds registering at nothing right now. so just about a perfect evening and it will get nicer. tomorrow morning is nice as well. clear over the tower cam. fox satellite radar shows not much going on a little bit of moisture in the state and that's pretty much moderate chopped out. a low pressure system off california that will be pulling in some monsoon moisture as we make our way into the workweek and we are expecting some showers at the beginning of the week. we will have that coming up in your full forecast. as you can see, again, a little bit of light showers across the state today. isolated and not too much to report. the dew points that are popping

the state and into the 60s down in nogales and tucson so there is moisture in that area and that's why we saw a few of those pop up isolated showers earlier today and clearing out tonight. here is what we have going on for our temperatures mostly mid- to upper 80s and low 90s across the board here. not a bad night out there up north. 79 in kingman and over at lake havasu along the colorado river 95. yuma at 92 and tucson currently at 83 degrees. our high today was two degrees off the normal. 111 was the high set back in 1990. for the overnight low we are expecting 82. few degrees off normal for this time of year. for us as we mentioned in the southwest not a lot of activity going on. we do have a lot of storm activity making its way across the eastern part of the country. really from north to south all the way down from texas up to chicago and then illinois area and moving its way on through hitting the eastern seaboard probably over night and moving

active weather weekend for those folks living in that part of the country of for us overnight lows looking nice. 79 in gila bend. 65 in sedona. 53 for you in window rock. 50 in st. johns. at 65 in globe. casa grande at 76 degrees tonight. for tomorrow, kind of a warm day. let's call it 106 in yuma. 101 in phoenix. 88 in globe. north 86 in sedona and 81 in the grand canyon. 74 in flagstaff. here is what we have going on for tonight. we are expecting for most of the valley will get down to the overnight low. clear skies and then tomorrow morning 81 degrees you wake up at 7:00 it will be 101 for a high. we are expecting the chance of storms mostly on monday. about a 10% chance for isolated storms tomorrow. grows to 20% chance on monday. and then should be clearing back out the drying pattern. temps look nice and overnight lows look great in the 70s. >> we will take it sounds good.

tomorrow mark 15 years tomorrow marks 15 years since the tragic events of september 11th. today the blood drive was held at tempe beach park. a memorial is also set up with nearly 3,000 flags commemorating the lives lost in the attacks. in each flag has been named of a person who died in the attack and information how they lived. the memorial will be open tomorrow until 8:00 p.m. runners also honored a firefighter who sacrificed his life on 9-11 in order to save people. >> that's right, they took part in the tunnel to tower 5k run and walk to honor firefighter

that run was held in phoenix. started at 8:46 this morning and the same time that first tower was hit in the attacks 15 years ago. the tunnel to towers website says steven had just finished his shift as a firefighter when he got word of the attacks. he was on his way to play golfs with his -- play golf with his brothers but turned around and grabbed his gear to save lives. a local group putting on a bake sale today to raise money for aunt aids research. >> that foundation is an organization that focuses on funding for the aids walk every year. >> this foundation first started fundraising by doing a bake sale and now going back to their roots. doing another one. the money would go toward raising money for the annual aids walk. aunt rita's co-founder says he couldn't believe the amount of support there is at the walk he started. >> when we go down to the walk

with my girlfriend recently, which was awful. we got in this huge fight in the hotel room. she went on level-three flip-out. ladies, you know what that is -- yelling, crying, throwing stuff. she starts threatening me. she's like, "i'm gonna jump out the window." yeah, she's like, "i'm gonna jump out the window 'cause of the way you make me feel." i was like, "oh, snap." i panicked. i run downstairs to wake up the manager. i'm like, "hey, man, wake up. me and my girlfriend just got in this huge fight." he's like, "that's not my problem." i said, "look, man, i don't think you get it. she wants to jump out the window. he's like, "that's not my problem." i was like, "it is your problem. the window is stuck."
