opens fire in a mall north of seattle, and we are getting a more clear picture now of what has happened. three dead, a man taken to the hospital not expected to hurt, another woman hurt but with non-life-threatening injuries. right now a search is on the for the shooter. all of this unfolding in washington state. here's seattle. this is all happening at a mall here in burlington washington. it's called the cascade mall, and we are told that there was a very busy place tonight, of course, and you see the mall right there, and next to the i-5 freeway, and they believe that is where the shooter may have fled after inflicting all of the violence tonight. here's a picture of the suspected gunman, seen walking through the mall. witnesses say he walked into the macy's and opened fire. it is believed he is armed with a rifle. officers say the shooter is believed to have left the scene before they got there. officers say that he was last seen walking towards the highway, the i-5. it is not clear what led up to

type of motive behind it. we will keep you updated as we get more information on it tonight. that is the scene from washington. now on to a story we broke last night, a man arrested after being caught on camera carrying a woman over his shoulder in oldtown scottsdale, that woman unconscious, before he allegedly raped that woman several times. now police are concerned that there could be other victims out there. a lot of people are pretty concerned out danielle. >> absolutely, marc, just such a horrible story out here. definitely has a lot of people here in the oldtown scottsdale area talking about it tonight. police are telling us that this is where it started saturday night at the galleria parking garage here in oldtown scottsdale. they say this is where this very intoxicated woman was when the suspect, 28-year-old rodolfo ramirez, picked her up and took her home. >> nothing like that has ever

happened right in the heart of old town. >> 28-year-old rodolfo ramirez being held without bond on charges of kidnapping, sexual assault, and sexual abuse. during his initial court appearance, the defense argued ramirez should be released because he's a husband, holds a job, and owns his house. >> this particular case, your honor, based on his background, based on the lack of prior convictions, and -- i don't believe that he is of any danger to the community. >> reporter: the prosecutor disagreed. >> s was just because of the fact that she is not screaming and yelling does not negate the fact that she was taken against her will to some place that she does not want to be having sex with somebody she did not consent to is sexual assault. for all of those reasons, i'm asking that the defendant be held nonbondable >> the incident happened old town scottsdale during the early morning hours. police say ramirez sexually assaulted an unconscious woman in her mid-20s in a parking

surveillance video shows him picking the woman up and throwing her over his shoulder. >> he had a familiar face. people had seen him around l.a. fitness, very shocked that that was the person that did it. it can be anyone that does something crazy like that. >> police reports show ramirez first denied knowing the victim but later admitted to having sex with her. he told police his eyes were closed most of the time, and she could have consented to having sex. >> reporter: in all of those charges, ramirez is facing are felonies. he is due back in court on the 29th at 8:30 in the morning. now, as of now police are telling us that they are investigating this as an isolated incident, but there could possibly be more victims. they are asking anybody with any information or who has experienced a similar situation with him to call police. reporting live, danielle miller, fox 10 news. >> danielle, thank you. and a valley high school teacher is behind bars tonight after he slept with a student,

at allen johnson's initial appearance in court, tensions seemed to flair with the judge. >> you need to keep your mouth shut. i'm setting a $500,000 cash only appearance bond in this matter. okay? the law requires i set a bond for you. if i could hold you nonbondable, i would do it it in a moment. >> johnson is accused of having sex with a 17-year-old student back in 2011. that was while he was a tea they say that he was the victim's teacher in drama and debate coach. johnson is charged with three counts of sexual conduct with a minor. a man accused of stalking an attorney from the maricopa county attorney's office is arrested after he showed up in a courtroom where she was handling the case. she was the prosecutor in a case back in 2007. five years later, he gave his

titled, my plan to assassinate jeanette gallagher. he was ordered to have no contact and not visit any court builds. recently though he was seen in this courtroom with her twice. in his initial appearance, he spoke in his own defense. >> i am almost 70 years old. i am not stupid. i did not commit these crimes. the last thing i am going to do is damage my credibility by failing to show up for >> and when police searched his home, they found a rifle. he's being indicted on two felony counts and one count involving weapons. the ntsb says the pilot of the plane heard a loud noise just before the four sky divers on board jumped out. shortly after the left swing of the small plane caught fire, forcing the pilot to jump as

no one killed, the pilot suffered burns. the ntsb may issue another report in about nine months with more details on exactly what went wrong. it's been more than two months now since the serial street shooter last struck in the valley, but guardian angels are out tonight, patrolling the areas of central and baseline, and marcy jones joins us live with the latest on this from the phoenix police department. >> the last shooting connected to the serial shooting happened, but the guardian angels say that's not bringing comfort. the only way they will ever feel safer is with this guy off the streets. >> people need to go to the store without worrying about getting jumped, robbed or beaten. >> for them, the reason they patrol is simple. even though it's been two months since the last in a second

[gunfire] in the video released by keith lamont scott's family, you hear his wife, telling him to get out of the struck and telling police not to shoot him. soon after, the shots are fired and scott is killed. police say he failed to have drop his gun, but his family says he never had a weapon. that shooting sparked four days of protest in the city, and protesters were heard chanting release the to the body and dash cam video in response to the shooting not yet released. charlotte police chief says the video does not tell the whole story. >> one piece of evidence will never, ever make a good case. i know the expectation that video footage can be the panacea, and i can tell you that is not quite the case. >> the chief also says the decision to release the video is in the hands of the state bureau of investigation. the governor has declared a

over? because i don't have a heater on my pool and it's already too cold. think back a month ago when we were at the hundreds at 9:00, just fantastic fal weather, a great weekend shaping up. the next ten days, not going to see a single day above 100 degrees. we are about ten degrees below where we shou 20 degrees below the record of 108, five years ago we saw 108. so it could be a lot worse around here. the cold front moved through. and boy, didn't it leave behind some beautiful cool temperatures. dust we could have done without. the wind brought dust and haze in. temperatures about the same as they were today come tomorrow. but rainfall totals, i know some people across our state, we are still getting rain after midnight.

user information from half a billion accounts was compromised in the hack. the accounts were hacked back in 2014 but yahoo didn't learn about the breach until two days ago. experts say the best thing that you can do is change your password right away for all of your accounts. >> when this is linked to financial information, you want to run a credit report. you really want to make sure that you're protecting your finanial security, and that's the best first step. see if there has been any unusual activity. >> and one protect yourself is to set up a 90-day fraud alert. that way if there's any suspicious activity, the credit bureau will let you know about it. well, we are learning now what may have caused this explosion on the unmanned spacex launch pad. three weeks ago, the spacex company says signs point to a breach in the rocket's helium system. the falcon rocket and a

explosion during prelaunch testing. most of that wreckage has been recovered, now being analyzed. sfaiks is looking at all possible causes, and they said the launches could resume as early as november. testing done on airbags recalled from hundreds of thousands of vehicles shows how dangerous they can be. bloomberg reports that more than 600 exploded during testing. the company says it first learned about this kind of rupture back in 2003 when it happened in switzerland. 70 million of these parts are scheduled to be replaced between now and 2019. the arizona cardinals heading to buffalo. it's their first road test of the season. why head coach bruce arians is not taking this game lightly. plus dbacks highlights and a
