learn the five-year-old boy who shot himself had died. avondale police say it happened in this townhouse between 9:30 and 10:00 this morning. the investigation is in its early stages so there is a lot they are not telling us. police not saying what type of gun was used by the little boy. how many shot maze have been fired. where the little boy was hit. >> i rushed home because i have a five-year-old son myself that plays with him. just rushing home to like know that it was actually my neighbor's son. it was really heart >> a neighbor told us this complex is filled with single moms who have between three and five children. she believed that little boy who died was one of five kids, all of them young. the grim question, hanging over this tragic scene, how was it a five-year-old boy was able to get his hands on a loaded gun. >> unfortunately when you know when weapons are involved you have to be sure you are more safe with those type of things because these incidents happen.

and a teacher are hurt during a school shooting. investigators say the shooter apparently shot and killed his father before going to the schooling. the teenage suspect is in custody and the victims were flown to local hospitals where one student is in critical condition. the other child and teacher are in good condition. that school has 286 students from pre-k through 6th 2k3wr5eud. classes -- grade. classes have been canceled until the end of the week. we are learning more about what led to police shooting a man who allegedly rammed his car 19th avenue and rose garden. as part of an ongoing drug investigation, undercover officers say they had arranged to meet a drug sell narconvenience store parking lot. when they moved in to make an arrest, the suspect put his car in reverse and slammed into the police vehicle. he pointed a gun at police and so an undercover officer opened fire. the 26-year-old suspect is an extremely condition. another 23-year-old man in the car was arrested on weapons

warrant. reaction is now pouring in after the shooting of an african-american man in southern california. police in the san diego suburb of el cajon opened fire on the man yesterday afternoon. they say he refused to comply with their demands. the man was taken to the hospital in critical condition where he later died a bystander shot cell phone video of the incident and that footage has been turned over to the police. crowds of protesters saying they want that sooting footage released. >> want the tape -- no reason to confiscate the tape and have to hold it. >> they shot him five times and he is mentally challenged. you shoot somebody five times you aren't trying to stop him or help him. you trying to kill him. >> investigators say the video shows that the man did not have his hands in the air. that footage has not yet been released. billboards across town set up by a controversial community activist who was just arrested a couple of days ago. the reverend jarrett maupin putting up billboards to help promote non-violence between

deputies served a search warrant and five different locations that authorities are investigating. two are businesses and three are homes. we are told the suspects not only grew the plants but dried them and made oils with them as well at that location. the sheriff's deputies say they are looking for 18 people involved. he has been called the most hated man in america by a lot of people. we are talking about the pharmaceutical executive mar scregy -- shkreli. he got his reputation last year after raising the price of a life saving drug by 5,000%. on twitter he says he is offering the chance now to hit him to the highest bidder. shkreli says he is raising the money for a young son of a friend who died of cancer. he is open to getting dinner with the win instead of being hit. i'm sure he will get a lot of offers for the punching part of

a new page of controversy for sheriff paul babeu. sources tell us the fbi has subpoenaed records also known as rico funds. critics have said pcso's use of the foundation is like money laundering. and they've also accused babeu of using the funds to fuel his campaign. it may already be illegal campaigning with government resources. or if they're just being used to make the sheriff look good, as he runs for congress.

phoenix workers are now city of phoenix worker are now allowed to publicly state their personal political opinions. city council voting unanimously on that measure. the measure will change the current city codes and will allow workers to post their views on social media. sign political petitions and post campaign signs in their yards. employees are still not allowed to engage in political activities while in uniform. just three days before their
