left of the power plant and they are going to be blown up. >> we love a good implosion. tomorrow morning is a planned demolition by a.p.s. to make room for a facility using cleaner natural gas. danielle miller has the details about how it is going down. >> reporter: john and mark, the crews have been busy all day preparing for the implosion. they are placing the dynamite and clearing the area making sure it is a safe one. those are the two water tower that will be coming down tomorrow morning. guys, get this, at one time this is where the entire power supply came from for the city of phoenix. tomorrow at 7:00 in the morning, these pieces of history will just be memories. >> you won't hear that big of a sound. it will be 80 december bebls, not much higher than the human voice and it will be over in two seconds. >> reporter: tomorrow morning, a piece of history will be

west phoenix power plant. the two stacks that were built in the 1930's will be imploded using 75-100-pounds of dynamite. >> they have been out of service for 15 years and we can go into future planning. >> reporter: old stacks were part of the old fired steam units and at one point, the plant was one of the largest energy plants for the city o phoenix. >> we put out about 18 mega watts of power. we now put out 1,000 mega watts of power. >> reporter: tomorrow's implosion will pave the way to a cleaner energy future, although a positive thing, some employees are sad to see this history come to an end. >> we have an engineer who has been here for 40 years.

always looking to make it cleaner and faster but for them, a lot of them has started their careers in this building. >> reporter: i'm from las vegas so i'm used to implosions on a bigger scale of casinos but i'm excited to see this one here tomorrow starting at 7:00 in the morning. unfortunately, this implosion is not open to the general public. there is no viewing area but we will have a photographer out here so tomorrow on fox 10 news. right around the area of 43rd avenue in front of the plant that will be closed a little bit before 7:00 in the morning and right up until right after this implosion to make sure there is no debris. if you want to be in this area, you want to avoid 43rd avenue right here in front of the plant.

implosions in vegas, she could plant the dynamite. a man accused of stalking a prosecutor. he has spread not guilty to stalking jeanette gallagher. he is accused of violating court orders twice. he was found visiting the same courtroom on two occasions. in 2012, he wrote a letter entitled my plan to assassinate jeanette. a wild crash this morning in field. you can see one car flipped over and landed on its roof. it is near seventh street and jefferson. we're told one person was taken to the hospital. the extent of the injuries not known right now. police are trying to figure out what caused the accident. remember last week, we told you about a pet micro pig that narrowly escaped being stolen during a burglary.

and this guy was in danger. today, two 15-year-old boys are in custody responsible for the break in. police say social media helped them nab the suspects. nicole garcia has the story today. >> reporter: home surveillance video captured this burglar in action. it is one thing when thieves go after property but when they go after pets, it becomes personal as is the case here with sprinkles the micro >> he chased the pig around for a while and you can see it, it is brilliant on the camera, beautiful color with audio. i have to give the pig credit, he managed to hold his own. >> reporter: police got a break in the case. sprinkles' family was reading the comments about the story, which we posted on the fox 10 facebook page. they noticed a suspicious remark

suspect's social media pages. >> we called the police station and told them we had a lead. >> reporter: police tracked down the suspect who confessed. >> he did admit to committing the burglary and attempting to kidnap the pig. he was nice enough to identify his friend to us. >> reporter: both suspects, just 15 years old were take into custody a week after the incident. >> i was super worried but now i know they are in police i'm confident they won't be coming back and sprinkles is safe. >> reporter: as for sprinkles, the owner says he was shaken up but she believes he has an intuition that the case has been solved. >> you can tell he was scared. he is back to normal. >> reporter: both teenagers are facing felony burglary charges.

developing tonight, unanswered questions about what caused yesterday's deadly train crash in new jersey. we don't know how fast the train was going when it crashed into the 109-year-old station or why it slammed into the barrier. investigators today removing the recorder that will contain data on speed and braking. it should provide more clues as to what happened. investigators are struggling to recover a second device because there is too much debris. more than 100 people were killed after dropping her daughter off at day care. >> she loved her daughter. she always had a smile on her face. she wanted to do everything she can for her daughter and a wonderful person. >> this crash brings renewed attention to automatic braking systems. the government requires such systems in trains but regulators are trying to delay the

install the system. the first pit bull to become a detention dog found nearly a pound of high-grade marijuana and a handgun and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop. ace was trained to be a detention dog by universal k-9. he just finished his train about a month ago and made six other drug busts since joining the department in a fox follow-up as police catch a suspect in the walmart fire from back in june. police arrested tristan bailey. he is 20 years old. the walmart, the surveillance video shows someone igniting fireworks in the middle of the aisle. all of the staff and customers were evacuated. the smoke and water damage the
