here is the jeep that police are telling us the driver was driving when he hit this man in his 40s. this is tatum boulevard here, right near the southbound lanes, there is a school on the backside of us. this is scottsdale christian academy. there was actually a football game going on at the time of this accident out here. we are told that the man was crossing the street here, possibly to make it over to the we are told the driver did stay on scene, cooperating with police. at this time police are telling us that at this time it does not appear that alcohol was related in the incident out here with the driver. as of now, tatum boulevard is closed, the southbound lanes near acoma, the northbound lanes not being affected at this time, but detectives just got on scene so it's definitely going to be a few more hours out here. if you are going to be traveling

altogether. danielle miller, fox 10 news. for the second time this month, body parts are found near valley businesses, and police believe that they belong to the same person. it's a mystery who this person may be. today a worker at a industrial business near 23rd and broadway found a decome posing body on the south side of the salt riverbed. >> because other one found on the 21st, it is an opinion that an animal dragged them to that location, giving them the opinion that it is related. >> a medical examiner will help i.d. the body and then determine a cause of death. bullhead city city police released body cam video of a deadly officer-involved shooting in kingman, a suspect is now dead and an officer was hurt in this. we do want to warn you though that some might find this video

yeah, the video shows officers pounding on the door and then announcing they have a search warrant. the door opens and the suspect appears holding a gun. he is ordered to drop that weapon, and then the officer pulls out his taser, and that's when police say the suspect opened fire and police fire back. one officer is shot in serious but stable condition. they were at the home for a report of stolen weapons, and they say that he was the one -- the one he was hdi stolen. meanwhile, in the san diego area, following days of riots, el cajon police release video of a deadly shooting there. an officer was responding to a call of a man who was behaving erratically and walking into traffic. the suspect is seen backing up to a truck in this video, a second officer shows up. investigators say the man took an e-cigarette out of his pocket and pointed it at an officer who thought it maybe a gun. the officer opened fire.

ugandan refugee with a history of mental illness. a woman sexually assaulted while working at a peoria construction site. he was working at a housing development near 97th avenue and jomax when a man brutally attacked her. we spoke with another construction worker who pulled up right after three men found the victim. >> when i pulled up, she was very distressed. she was bawling her eyes out, on the phone like i said before man it was sickening seeing her like that. she was a wreck. >> police do not have a great description of the suspect but are increasing patrols in the area. if you have any information, you are being asked to call peoria police. a developing story out of the north valley tonight. sheriff's deputies are looking into a string of robberies that they say may be connected and they are now asking for the public's health to try to solve them. the robberies happened

daisy mountain drive and galvin peak parkway. you can see the man as he walks up to the front desk. 5'9"-six tall. police say a dark or charcoal gray sedan may have been a follow-up on a pet pig burglary, now two 15-year-olds are in custody. they were checking out the pig named sprinkles in the home when they tried to rob it. sprinkles' family saw comments on a facebook story, did some investigating and found out one of the suspects' social media pages. >> we called all of the police stations, told them we had a

right. our gut intuition worked without. >> police say they were able to track down the suspect based on the tip and he confessed to the crime. both suspects were taken into custody about a week after the incident. hillary clinton campaigning in florida today, she is trying to get more millennials on her side, meanwhile, donald trump spent his day in michigan, and he was questioned about the late night tweets on a former miss universe. trump posting several comments on twitter overnight about alicia machado who is accusing the former pageant owner of mistreating her during her reign as miss universe. one of them said did crooked hillary help her become a u.s. citizen so that she could use her in the debate? the former beauty queen says the attacks are cheap lies with bad intentions. >> maybe he's getting his advice from the hillary clinton campaign, but he needs to put this behind him. >> meanwhile, hillary clinton is

kind of around through the state on the day today. take a look here at a little bit down south. it evaporates very rapidly. stuff on the west side is gone. as we look up north, there's still a little patch here and there and a little bit trying to get into the eastern portion. but that's about it. over the weekend, we are going to be looking at an air quality issue down in the southwestern portion of the state. up in the northwest, it's going to be fire danger issues this is what we came to today for a high, 96 degrees, 97 in goodyear, 95 in scottsdale today, 82 degrees in sedona, 69 at the grand canyon, 87 degrees down in tuscon, and 99 at yuma. this is your day, 96 on the high, 73 on the low. 95 and 72 normal high and low. there's your record high at 107, your record low at 49. here's what we are forecasting

it's going to be low to mid 90s throughout the valley, and those temperatures are below the seasonal norm for this time of year, which is in the mid-90s. 66 the forecast for flagstaff, 78 degrees in sedona, 76 in prescott, 98 degrees in yuma, and 91 down in tuscon. take a look at what's going on across the country here. you can see that moisture up into colorado. we also had some pretty good storms in the lower great lakes and across the great lakes they heavra few days. and then, of course, we don't want you to forget about matthew, and this is the possible track. there's miami right there, that matthew could be taking, 160 miles an hour. it is a category 5. here are your temperatures on the day today. look at wichita, mid-70s for those folks. we have the phoenix zoo, of course, 8:00 a.m. on sunday, 77 degrees, walk for hope.

live from fox studios, fox 10 news is back. well, this is the end of an era for one satellite, the european space agency has confirmed the end of its landmark 12-year comet hunting of the rosetta spacecraft. fox news correspondent bryan llenas has more. >> reporter: mission control at the european space agency celebrating the end of its 12-year comet chasing mission,

rosetta, crash landing on comet 67p after spending more than two years in orbit, sending back a treasure trove of images and data. >> flying to a comet and around a comet for two years, as close as a kilometer is a challenge, and we have done it. >> reporter: the final loss of contact happened early friday morning when the spacecraft collided with the european space agency and nasa is already combing through the data. >> it had nine experiments on it, many which were on during this time period, actually sat down on the comet very gently. >> it is a milestone in space exploration, and the data set back is challenging many scientific theories, like the
