>> it was honestly like a flare stuck in my pocket when it ignited and discharged. my whole -- i lost half of my pant leg completely from the burn. >> september 5th was a typical day at work for shiloh. that was, until he says a spare battery in his pocket for his e-cigarette exploded. >> i was walking behind the counter, going to help my boss with something, and i had fire coming out of my pants. it was like the flare. i didn't know what to do, so i kind of freaked out a little bit and just started hitting my pants, like thinking it was going to go out. >> he went straight to the burn unit for treatment. the fire burned through his pants, singed his hair, and caused second degree burns. >> it was probably a good little over 60 seconds that it was actually on in my pocket on f fire, and it did quite a bit of damage afterwards.

injuries, five others hurt. the pastor of the church posted a video message on facebook after the accident. >> we want to make sure we make this all about the workers, all about helping them and praying for them, and you guys know our church. we are going to be helping them way beyond today, no matter what happens, so be in pray for those families. >> state safety investigators are trying to figure out what caused that collapse. and this comes after a deadly work accident in phoenix, a man was electrocuted while working at a building at 75th and camelback. crews say by the time they arrived on the scene, the man was already dead. it is not clear exactly what he was working on when the electrician -- electrocution happened. new details on the death of a five-month-old left in a hot car for several hours in peoria.

forgot the baby was in the car. they say the baby was 18-year-old jose garcia's nephew. he and his nephew were supposed to be watching the baby yesterday afternoon while the mother was at work. police say the baby was in the car for up to four hours at the complex near 85th avenue and peoria. the temperature inside was nearly ten -- nearly 105 degrees. >> that's i have kids and i'm watching everything that they do. i have a seven-year-old, and i'm like, where is she at? where is my baby at? what is she doing? >> the couple faces child abuse charges. meanwhile, a gofundme page has been set up for the baby's mother. two former tuscon tv news reporters are sentenced to a year probation and a suspended 30-day jail term after cocaine was found in their infant's

matthew's potential wrath. the hurricane is packing 145-mile-an-hour winds. think about that. i mean, 18-20-mile-an-hour winds are strong. 145-mile-an-hour winds, and it appears to be tracking more towards haiti's southwestern tip. wherever it hits it is going to be devastating, and it doesn't look like this one is slowing down very much. >> well, it's going very slow, but it's not stopping its progress. >> it has a lot of power. >> yeah, and the danger of it going slow is a lot of r drops a lot of water because it's in one area for a long, long time, staying there. >> and then you wonder, could it hit us eventually? >> there's a chance. i'm going to give you a look at that in a second here. there is a little chance of that, and we will get to that in just a moment. 71 degrees right now, winds southwest at six miles an hour, and boy the city just looks great out there, 70 degrees out at deer valley, 66 degrees in maricopa, 64 degrees in apache junction right now, a little high pressure moving in, and

we look at 86 degrees for the high. in glendale 84, 83 in deer valley, 84 in chandler. other numbers that we have, 60 degrees up in flagstaff, 69 degrees in prescott, 69 degrees up in page, and 72 over in st. john's, 86 at gila bend on the day, and 10:00, 71, you see that temperature dropping through the night. we'll get it down into the low 60s here when the sun comes it will be a nice morning, a light breeze for you at around 7:0 7:00 a.m., 87 degrees the high, 74 the low. this is what we are forecasting for tomorrow. we get back into the low 80s once again. there are some mid-80s in that mix as well. 71 the forecast in sedona, 78 up at kingman, 69 at st. john's, 85 in casa grande, and 90 down in

wondering, when will we see a return to the team's explosive offense? thinks about this, 18 points against the bills, just 13 gunnar ben against the rams, and now a likelihood that carson palmer may not play thursday night. keep in mind the concussion in yesterday's game against the rams. now, drew stanton came late in the game, got full reps in today, and you have to look at it as if to say he will be the starter come against san francisco on the road, certainly a key game if the team is going to get back on track. he'll follow the nfl protocol, and we'll see where carson palmer goes the next few days. but one thing we know, the offense isn't where it should be. i asked bruce arians after practice today, when is the offense going to start looking like the offense of last season? >> simply making a play. and it hasn't been there, hasn't clicked, but once it shows up, it becomes infectious.
