we are of course in prescott valley, and a lot of people excited about this event that starts at 2:00 this afternoon. it's free. people started filing in within the last hour or so. i want to show you some video now of people coming in to this facility. this is the sixth rally that donald trump has held in arizona, the first one in northern arizona. this is a hotbed of support for now it's been, no question, a rough week for mr. trump. a focus on comments to former miss universe, attention paid to almost a billion dollars in tax write-offs that he took that could have allowed him to not pay federal income taxes for the last 18 years. i expect mr. trump to talk about that today, he did yesterday at a rally in colorado. but also expect him to go on the attack against hillary clinton, just days before their pivotal

now, there are only a small number of protesters outside this arena, and a lot of people, of course, for mr. trump. so let's hear from a couple of supporters and also an opponent. >> i like the fact that he is a successful businessman and knows what the business world needs in order to help promote more business in the united states. >> i like his, i like his policy on the border. i like the way he's going to handle t i like the way he wants to be able to rebuild our armed forces. i like just about everything about trump. >> i don't like that he is not prepared to be president. i think he is only in it for himself, and i don't think he's good for the country. >> reporter: so there are, predictably, a lot of people for mr. trump, because this is a trump event, and there are also a small number of people who came here to express their

sky harbor airport starting thursday because a runway is going to be shut down for a month for a construction project. sky harbor is going to close its north runway on thursday, and that's going to run all the way through the sixth of november. the north runway is one of three at sky harbor, arrival and departure delays of up to 30 minutes are possible during peak travel traffic will be concentrated on the south runway, people living near the airport may notice more activity on certain flight patterns during the 31-day period. coming up, we have heard reports of creepy clowns around the country. how one school in connecticut is cracking down. and how often do we say this? a lamb on a lam, how this chase came to an end.

the chief said snell had a fully loaded semiautomatic handgun in one hand, and when he turned toward officers, they fired. the footage shows the man crouching behind an suv and pulling a gun from his waistband. he then tucks the gun back into his waistband and runs around the corner as officers at that point then run after him. the footage does not show the officers actually shooting him. black lives matter have been protesting the shooting there in southern california. an explosion rocks a neighborhood in new jersey this morning and just completely leveled a house. you can see some of the wreckage here. here are the pictures out of patterson. the explosion leveled at least one home, hurled debris on car. the blast shattered windows blocks away. folks in this neighborhood had already been evacuated from the area because of a gas leak, so it is likely that is in fact what may have caused it.

connecticut bans clown costumes, calling them, quote, "symbols of terror." we have been telling you about reports from different parts of the country involving creepy clowns. at the center of the investigation in connecticut, an instagram account showing four photos with menacing looking clowns, captions telling schools to watch out and wait and see. investigators are looking into them to see if they are fact, hoaxes. a lamb on the go, a wayward animal seen running through the streets of chicago. drivers stopped right in their tracks to avoid hitting the runaway sleep, and this guy finally captured him. the lamb escaped from a slaughterhouse, but then you can see he was captured and hauled right back into the truck bed. >> he's putting up a fight

dominican republic when heavy rain damaged their homes. matthew is now, as we speak, passing over haiti with maximum sustained winds of 145 miles an hour. it hasn't lost any strength. in fact, it's still a cat four and has been dropping immense amounts of rain on jamaica. here in the u.s., a hurricane watch has now been issued for south florida. your exclusive accuweather forecast on fox 10 news. >> and about 40 inches or so potentially. in the valley, take a look at this temperature, 79 degrees, gorgeous shoot. goodness, the shot here in the valley looks so peaceful, clear as day, as you can see. 79 degrees, as i mentioned, let's talk about hurricane matthew. because really this is the big concern for folks in the southeast, as well as for folks over into florida. so today it passed through western haiti, and by later on

it will continue to move into the east coast there of florida, and it will move up the east coast. we are talking the carolinas, the areas of georgia, and then continue on east. folks up in new jersey, delaware, you'll feel it by sunday morning. there are some islands off the carolinas, lot of kite surfing there there's going to be strong winds and storms in that part of the country. here, nice clear skies as you can see, temperatures across the rim area, 59 in the grand canyon, 59 in flagstaff, 65 in prescott, 72 in kingman along the colorado river, it's upper 70s into the lower 80s. it's very, very nice. temperatures across the valley, you see lots of 70s and then 80s, and then across the country for the most part pretty nice. but let me show you a couple of areas that we are having some concerns with here. up into montana, of course into minneapolis, and then there's some storms brewing down south

then of course everything going on with hurricane matthew as well. forecasted highs across the state, 71 in page, 71 in winslow, 72 in sedona, and it's going to be gorgeous there, 66 in payson. you have pretty much reached the top temperature in terms of where you are going to head. let's take a look at lows, 29 at the grand canyon, 50 in sedona, 44 in payson, 49 in safford. it's going to be nice down that way, 51 in globe, 55 in casa grande, and 61 here in phoenix. that's going to be our forecast when we woke up this morning, it was 61 degrees at about 4:30 this morning that carried us right on through to about 7:00 a.m. a look at some of the other highs and lows, 82 degrees will be our high today, warm up to 85 tomorrow, nineties by friday, lots of sunshine that you can see. next week, monday a few clouds moving in, but then lows into the low 70s. as you can see, it is just absolutely gorgeous outside right now.

82 will be our high today, tomorrow 85, lots of sunshine next week with sunshine and clouds as well. on a las vegas freeway, a loose dog led police on a chase on a busy freeway, shutting down interstate 518. the dog even running in the opposite direction of traffic, cars slowing down to see what's going on. people ran after the animal before it finally ran down an off-ramp. it's unclear if to get ahold of the dog after it got free off the highway and on to some of the surface streets. it sure has a story to tell though. >> boy, yeah, absolutely. all right.
