hit a tree. it later caught fire. you can see here there is not much left of the car. stefani is live with the story. >> reporter: phoenix police say they believe the young men were driving up to 80 miles an hour or more down here on central avenue before they, unfortunately, lost control and crashed. the vehicles were standing in cars crashed and one of them died. friends and family have gathered within the last 10 minutes or so. everyone is filled with tears. they are picking up pieces left behind with the crash and they are very angry. this crash happening so unfortunately and all three of the men, 17, 18, and 22-year-old are now dead.

having to go through that. >> reporter: back here live again. these are friends and family of the victims who were killed in this morning's crash. all of them devastated about what happened here. police say the teens were going up to 80 miles an hour on central avenue when they crashed their cars. we are working to learn more who the three young men were and we hope to have more a fox follow-up now. a woman has died after she was hit by a car in phoenix. police say last night, 38-year-old monica henley walked into the road near 16th street and roosevelt and was hit by an oncoming car. the driver stayed on the scene they do not believe speed or

crash. a trooper was responding to a rollover crash. it caused a traffic backup. the cruiser was hit by another car and caught fire. the trooper was not hurt and not in the car. the two people in the original crash were taken to the hospital. no word on their condition tonight. the country is still buzzing following last night's second presidential debate and speaker campaign alongside trump. >> reporter: a stunning developent less than a month before the presidential election. the republican speaker of the house, basically, cutting ties with the top of the g.o.p. ticket. paul ryan says he will not defend donald trump opting to conduct his political energy towards maintaining control of

a massachusetts man gets lost in the woods. his body temperature dropping with an hour longer outside and he would have died. >> when the call comes, everybody is 100% in. >> reporter: it was cold, dark, and rainy in the wooded area sunday morning. the search team knew every minute would count. >> everybody involved knew it was a crunch. >> reporter: an officer was the only one on patrol when a

first tonight at six first tonight at 6:00, a woman and her boyfriend accused of leaving her 5-year-old alone in a car while they went game -- gambling in a casino. the woman cried in front of a judge. >> i'm sorry, jessica marie lo box. we don't have tissue? >> i'm fine. >> jessica lopez and brad porter are facing multiple counts, including child abuse and drug charges. the pair left lopez's son in the car yesterday at 92nd street and mckellips in scottsdale. while searching the car, police found marijuana and three bottles of beer. one was half empty.

police made contact. porter spoke with fox 10 from behind bars. >> i wasn't trying to put them in harm's way. i was trying to make sure, i was trying to provide something for us so we would be ok for the next couple of days. i wasn't really thinking about it. it was like an immediate situation and i didn't want to sleep in the car. we had been sleep at the tempe town lake for the past three or four nights. i didn't want to that. >> porter say he and his girlfriend were living in a car and hoping to win money to get a hotel room. the department of child's safety has been contacted. it is unclear if they have custody of the boy. a woman says she was a trim of -- christmas --
