likeness was outside of the court. federal prosecutors announced they will file contempt of court charges against arpaio for disagreeing with the court. >> we would want a jury of the sheriff's peers to make this decision. >> reporter: prosecutors are seeking a maximum sentence of six months in jail and a bench trial. defense attorneys want a jury trial. prosecutos are seeking to charge him with contempt. trial is set to begin december 6. tonight's announcement is just as he is seeking a seventh term in always. andrew hasbun is following this case for us and how it could affect his bid for re-election.

turnons, even longer prerecording times from when the cameras turn on, as well as new camera features and audio settings. we spoke to an expert on use of force and he tells us the new technology is not only beneficial for the police officers but the community. the technology is called the axson flex two. some of the features will benefit community like the new mounting options and the pre-event buffer. right now, cameras capture 30 seconds of video before the officer turning it on with this new feature, it will increase to two minutes. >> it helps officers as far as anything they see when it comes to the evidence of the crime. that is captured and will help
