right now. thank you for joining us tonight. arpaio's legal troubles stemming from the legal sweeps that he was told toto he is accused of racial profiling. >> we will plead not guilty. >> reporter: sheriff joe arpaio not at today's hearing but his familiar inflatable likeness was outside of the court. federal prosecutors announced they will file contempt of court charges against arpaio for disagreeing with the court.

phoenix police investigating an officer phoenix police phoenix police are investigating an officer-involve shooting. a lot of officers on the scene. we are told no officers were injured. a suspect was rushed to the hospital. you notice a lot of the area was dark from sky fox because power was knocked out to 100 businesses a transformer was shot out. we are not sure why but we are waiting to get more information from police on this. police are looking into a surveillance video that shows someone trapped in a trunk. this home surveillance video that you saw captures the white four-door car that pulls up and they open the trunk and it

beneficial for the police officers but the community. the technology is called the axson flex two. some of the features will benefit officers and the community like the new mounting options and the pre-event buffer. right now, cameras capture 30 seconds of video before the officer turning it on with this new feature, it will increase to two minutes. anything they see when it comes to the evidence of the crime. that is captured and will help with prosecution. >> reporter: there is an automatic activation function. right now, officers have to turn on cameras themselves but something like this, using a taser could turn it on.
