alert. two teenagers taken to the hospital after being shot near a gas station. these are live pictures from the scene. 75th avenue and deer valley road. the shooting happening in a wash next to a q.t. police believe this happened during an exchange of goods. >> we are told a 15-year-old and 18-year-old were wounded in the shooting. they were taken to the hospital. they have nonlife-threatening injuries. police say two other teens are in custody and they are happened out there. turning to another top story. a valley woman is arrested on terrorism charges and the f.b.i. and the arizona attorney general are involved in this case. >> this comes two days after another arizona man pled guilty to a terror plot in which he planned to blow up a mesa m.v.d. office. >> kristy siefkin is live with

>> reporter: michelle baskin is the name of the woman arrested and she is asleep in jail on the charge of conspiracy to commit terrorism. she is not the only individual police arrested mere in the valley connected to terrorism acts. this is a picture. f.b.i. agents arresting her earlier today and the f.b.i. worked with the arizona attorney search warrants, both for conspiracy to commit terrorism. one was served in chandler and the other in florence. the one in chandler was at a locally owned bakery between warner and elliot. it is unclear in florence where the second warrant was issued.

another terrorism arrest. 18-year-old mahin khan was arrested and he pled guilty on several terror-related charges and weapons charges, one of the charges is the same that michelle bastian of. she is still waiting to see a judge and it is unc whether or not her arrest is, in fact, connected to the two search warrants issued earlier today. reporting live in downtown phoenix, i'm kristy siefkin, fox 10 news. we have new details about an officer-involved shooting that happened earlier this week. a 25-year-old man in full body armor was threatening to kill another man with a gun. when officers got there, the suspect took off and he tried to hide from them.

and pointed the gun at the officers two different times. he was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. none of the officers were hurt. a man and woman are recovering at a hospital after their plane crashes at deer valley airport. they were headed to california when the plane crashed into a structure near 43rd avenue and pinnacle peak road. someone called 911 and stayed there with the police got there. >> a lot of people pulling up now. before, it was just us. now i see a lot of people coming from the neighborhoods. >> when you see the damage from the airplane, the speed, the fact he did not have a landing strip, it is a miracle that both patients were alive and talking

to the hospital. sheriff joe arpaio is running for his seventh term. a poll conducted by sure -- sherpa has paul penzone leading by 10 points and arpaio with 40% of the vote. our danielle miller did not answer the questions with reaction to this poll. might think penzone's lead over arpaio is direct result over the news that sheriff joe arpaio will face criminal contempt charges. the person responsible for this poll says that is not the case because it was conducted before that news came out. a new poll with sherpa public affairs shows paul penzone taking a 10 point lead over

sensors are going to be placed along the road to set off an alert. engineers are starting to test the design work this month. >> we are looking at several different kinds of sensors, including the sensors used in the middle east to find the right equipment for us that will pick up the presence of dust particles in the air and wind in the air and let us know about the possibility of >> a great idea. that system will be installed next summer between mile post 209 in eloy and picacho peak. if it work, similar systems will be installed across the state. the project is expected to cost $12 million and partly funded by a federal grant. the embattled c.e.o. of wells fargo has stepped down.

a player back on the field when you're talk about concussions. >> reporter: the question of just how thorough the nfl protocol has been out there for sometime. i talked to players who say the cognitive, memorization test is not as extensive as it should be but others just want to get back on the field. it is interesting to be inquisitive there are biomarker blood tests coming that will have a better read on if the player is ready for contact. most players do not want to lose their position. many neurologists have suggested an extensive test should be considered. nevertheless, carson is back on the field and he is working on this monday's game against the jets. >> feel great.

cool nights and the mornings are fantastic. we're at 84. we have clear skies out there. mild, light winds, 3 miles an hour out of the northwest. a perfect night out there. you can't feel the air it feels so good. 92 is where we were today. a couple degrees above normal but we know it could be worse. 103 was the record set back in 1950. we were just a smidge above where we should be. morning low it is a little bit of a chill in the air in the mornings, not enough to put your heater on in the car but a little bit chilly. it quickly warms up. we do have a couple of systems we're keeping an eye on but they are not going to make their way into arizona. if you're traveling as we head toward the weekend, around the region, we might run into trouble spots. pretty big rain showers associated with this storm in

oregon, washington, northern california. as we take a closer look, you see some of that rain starting to make its way on the coast and some of the rain is coming down rather rapidly as well. you probably noticed today, it started out beautiful and we saw a thick layer of clouds moving in and it cleared out. you can see how the clouds are moving out. most of them have moved out of the state. we are left with clear skies. it if you are some where with low light pollution you will be able to see them. 55 in the red rock country of sedona. 45 in prescott. 33 in flag. these are the cool temperature, 34 at the south rim of the grand

we looking for the cool temperatures. 91 tomorrow is what we are expecting. 95 in gila bend. look at how it cools down as you head north. 75 in payson. 77 in prescott. 72 in flag. how is it shaping up nationally? we watch the strong area of storms and thunderstorms pass through here along the border of missouri along the mississippi vall great lakes region. those are strong storms but they are beginning to move out. we are still keeping an eye on this spot right here over arkansas and mississippi as it heads towards the mississippi river valley. that one is capable of producing strong storms and we're keeping an eye on that system in the northwest. for the most part, it is a quiet night across the country. other than this storm, a

one. this is a biggie. it is taking aim for bermuda and as we get back here and take a look at it, it has winds of 130 miles an hour. this is a strong, strong storm. it is, basically, heading north, northeast and that is bermuda. it is expected to track over bermuda and head out into the northern atlantic. bermuda is very much unlike haiti. it is better built. buildings are stronger there so destruction as we saw in haiti but nonetheless, this is a strong storm. any time it hits a country or land, it is going to cause damage. we are expecting some damage and strong winds in bermuda but nothing like what we saw with 1,000 deaths in haiti. that is the good news on the storm but the bad news is it hitting directly at bermuda.

developing tonight. developing tonight, police are trying to track down the man in this sketch. they believe he sexually assaulted a teenage girl in a park in the west valley. this happened near 107th avenue and indian school road. nicole garcia has the details. reporter: the victim is just 17 years old. she helped police come up with a sk remembered a unique detail about him, he has a star tattoo on his right arm. the suspect came up behind her and hit her on the back of the head and forced her to the ground. he sexually assaulted her. she was able to fight him off and run off. he is an hispanic man 20's to

he was seen wearing a yellow bandanna on his head. people say they will be keeping their eyes out for a sexual predator. anyone with information is asked to call silent witness. we have an update on a gory story. the human remains found last month belonged to the same victim, 45-year-old jason collins. a and a week later, more human remains were found near the scrap yard. investigators are trying to determine how the man died. a big meth bust at our southern border. a tucson woman was arrested for allegedly trying to smuggle 16 pounds of meth. a drug-sniffing dog found the meth underneath the center console of the nissan sedan.

following concerns about some people in prescott about group homes for recovering addicts in their neighborhood. the city council approved a new law to regulate some of those homes. there are quite a few of them there, a house manager must always with at the home and awake at all times. it also set standards for training, criminal background. existing new homes mus for licenses and currently, there are 100 sober living homes in prescott. a former miss. arizona u.s.a. is coming forward claiming that trump came into the contestants' dressing rooms while they were changing. other contestants are reporting similar allegations. take a listen to what she cold

this morning. the eastbound lanes and the deck park tunnel closed down for emergency repairs after a truck hauling a tall trailer went through the tunnel and damaged a dozen lights in there. that had a ripple effect. it shut down the traffic, huge backup and it stretched on for miles. a lot of people stuck in the traffic. eastbound lanes were closed all the way to i-17. so drivers had to use i-17 to detour around the closure and reconnect with i-10 at the inteational airport. adot tweeted out the picture from inside the tunnel. how many adot workers does it take to change a light bulb? probably four or five. tonight, everything is fixed and the tunnel is back open. there are new options for people who want to get away to wine country or have the vegas experience without going to
