1:02 am
and so are the campaign calls and door knocks as campaigns canvas neighborhoods, but how accurate are those polls? we spent stefania okolie to find out. she joins us live now with the story. stefania? >> yeah, marc, unfortunately a lot of the people that i spoke with today say that they don't like to take part in the surveys or really listen to what these campaigners that are calling have to say, and that's not because they are not interested in this campaign but it's because some people tell me they would rather do the research on their own. we still checked in with the campaign callers at the victory center to see what they go through there as well. >> if the election were held today, who would you vote for in the presidential race? >> inside the office of calling voter after voter to find out where they stand 30 days before election day.

1:04 am
put themselves on the do not call list, well, sara, who is an experienced caller with the campaign victory center, tells me that's because if you switch from maybe undecided to having decided who you're going to vote for, even if you're on the do not call list, the system doesn't update it, so they may take it as someone still being undecided or not moving from the list. so that's why you're still getting those calls. live this evening, i'm stefania okolie, fox 10 news. an interesting the scenes there. thanks for that. both campaigns caught up in their own controversies right now, hillary clinton's campaign dealing with more damaging e-mails from top campaign staffers, while donald trump is fighting multiple allegations of sexually harassing women in the past. he says they fabricated stories after four women accused the republican nominee of kissing or

horrible people. they are horrible liars. the claims are preposterous, ludicrous, and defy truth, common sense, and logic. >> those accusations getting attention from first lady michelle obama. >> it is disgraceful. it is intolerable. and it doesn't matter what party you belong to, democrat, republican, independent, no woman deserves to be treated this way. none of u abuse. >> more than 2000 e-mails revealed by wikileaks revealing damaging comments from campaign staffers about southerners, latinos, supporters of bernie sanders. a developing story tonight, a woman seriously hurt. while being transported by phoenix police, police tell us it appears the woman tried to

was being transported in. she had been arrested on criminal damage, domestic violence, and aggravated assault charges and was being taken from the northern command station to the southern command station booking facility. when the van got there to the station, officers say the woman was unconscious, and they found that she had a shoelace that was tide to a vent above her, and the other end was around her neck. that woman taken to the hospital, but she is not expected to survive. in mesa, police searching for a man they say sexually assaulted a woman in her own home. police say last monday the woman lindsay and adobe. the man grabbed her, forced her into the home and then sexually assaulted her in a bedroom. neighbors are shocked. >> i think that's a lot of women's nightmares, i mean a lot of sexual offenders are from people that we know, but we are more afraid of the stranger. so hearing that, it does make your heart rate jump a little bit. >> police believe that the suspect is between 45-55,
1:07 am
police say he took off in a silver or gray four door sedan. on to a developing story now. we have learned new information on the valley woman facing charges of terrorism. investigators say michelle bastian planned an i.s.i.s. inspired terror attack with her husband, thomas bastian. he is serving a life sentence for murder at the louis prison. he became a radicalized muslim in prison, and i how to make a bomb were found in his cell. his florence home was raided yesterday. >> law enforcement showed up jumped out yelling fbi, search warrant. >>
