fox 10 news at noon starts now. thank you for being here. beginning our noon show, a murder suicide in tolleson, a father kills h daughters and then himself. >> just a horrific story. the big question this afternoon, why did he do it? nicole garcia live in the neighborhood at this hour. nicole? >> reporter: well, police are still being pretty tight lipped about this investigation, not releasing much information. two people did return to the home here just within the last hour, but they didn't want to comment about what happened. police have not released any kind of motive or the names of the 36-year-old father and the four and five-year-old girls who

suicide. police discovered the bodies around 10:00 last night. a neighbor called police after hearing gunshots and the ex-wife called police asking them to do a welfare check at this house because she was worried about her ex-husband and their two young daughters. police say when officers got here, they discovered the father and the girls in an upstairs bedroom. according to police, the father shot the two girls before turning the gun on himself. we told us that the parents had recently split up, that the wife had just moved out of te house about five months ago, and that he knew the couple was going through some problems. he says he is just absolutely heartbroken at what happened, and he himself is having a hard time coping with this tragedy. again, police have not released much information as far as the identities of the family members

released a possible motive in this case. but, again, a neighbor telling us that the family who lived in this home had just recently split up about five months ago that the wife had just moved out earlier this year. we are going to continue to follow this story and bring you any new updates as we learn about them. reporting live, i'm nicole garcia, fox 10 news. all right, nicole, thank you for that update out there. a man killed in tempe when a truck rear ends his motorcycle and then catches fire. the truck was hit the motorcycle this morning at 48th street and rosier. the truck then burst into flames. the man on the motorcycle was killed. the woman on the motorcycle rushed to the hospital in very bad shape. it's not clear what caused the crash. today we are seeing a picture of the chandler couple killed in the bizarre bridge accident off the coronado bridge in san diego.

contreras say they were married for 35 years. they were killed when a truck rolled off the bridge and plunged 60 feet to the ground, hit and killed them. we have a link to a gofundme page set up to donate on fox10phoenix.com. last night there was a candlelight vigil. police believe the truck driver may have been drinking. he i charges of vehicular manslaughter and dui. new at noon, the bodies of two people recovered from a creek north of the valley. the victims, both from california, believed to have drown, their bodies found in fossil creek near payson. the search for them started saturday after authorities got a 911 call about a double drown k in the area. we are getting a look at the man accused in a bar shooting in casa grande, 26-year-old booked

investigators say he got into a fight yesterday morning at barrington's bar and pub and shot and killed 38-year-old noriega. it is not clear what led up to the fight. a full court press from hillary clinton, maybe the democrats thinking that they can take arizona because not one but three different high-profile democrats are going to be in our state this week. first lady michelle obama going to be here in arizona to campaign for hillary clinton, again, one of several well-known democrats. sh an early vote rally. the polls showing a very tight race between donald trump and hillary clinton, a state that republican. the last time the state voted democrat was for hillary's husband, bill. and finally, chelsea clinton will be campaigning in tempe. that will take place just hours before the third and final presidential debate.

seizing on newly released fbi records as evidence of collusion between the obama administration and clinton. the records show that the fbi asked for help last year to change the classification of an e-mail from clinton's e-mail private server. the fbi ultimately rejected the request. reporter lauren blanchard has the latest. >> reporter: republican trump again questioning the integrity of the u.s. election this morning, tweeting, quote, "of course there is large scale voter fraud happening on and before election day." another apartment complex under construction. investigators say the fire spread so quickly because of the heat. most of the framework was plywood. dozens of people living in nearby apartments were forced out as crews battled the blaze. they were allowed back in their homes yesterday morning. >> students at a pair of schools in glendale heading back to class today weeks after their schools were shut down. challenger and landmark schools had structural problems with their actual buildings, so it was a three-week construction period, students and teachers safer inside, during that time the students bused to other schools. seven dogs being nursed back to health after being rescued from a backyard in phoenix. the humane society says those dogs, two adult boxers, five puppies they were all in bad shape. the bones protruding from bodies, ears and paws covered in ticked. they don't look great there.

the rim was too high for the puppies. two of the pupties couldn't stay up. the owners of the foster home might face charges of abuse. a man stuck inside his chimney for hours, locked himself out and tried to get inside the chimney. a 25-year-old -- >> look at his head and his face. >> covered in soot. >> yeah, come on. >> it was too tight for his body to firefighters were able to rescue hem and fortunately he was not hurt, although probably had some trouble breathing down in there. >> can you imagine? so when it comes down to, okay, i can either do this or go down the chimney, your last two choices, pick anything but chimney. >> break a window. >> you're not going to get down the chimney.

as we saw this morning, some storms still going through there. let's go to the maps, we'll talk about this. here in arizona, nice skies here over our tower cam, 84 degrees, calm winds. middle of this week it's going to probably start to get a little bit gus i it up in the northern part of our state. for right now, we can enjoy this sweet weather here. right now temperatures up in the northern portions of the state, take a look at this, page 76, 68 at the grand canyon,63 in flagstaff at this hour, very payson, 68 up in show low, up in the white mountains probably pretty nice up there, 78 in globe, 84 here in town as we just saw, other cities across the valley, 85 in a.j. 81 in chandler, 84 in surprise. we are going to stick pretty close to the 80s for the most part. not going to get too hot today. let's take a look at the satellite and radar and what we experienced here, northwest portion of the country.

lot of those storms as well as the seattle area. now a lot of places up in the northwest part of the region started to see some snow. eastern idaho saw some snow, boise seeing a lot of scattered showers as well, salt lake city, they are used to some of the weather. park city, probably alta, snowbird, a couple of those mountains seeing snow as dealing with a lot of rain and snow up on the peaks. back to our sky, it's very, very nice, forecasted highs across the state, 90 in bullhead city, 88 in lake havasu, 89 in yuma, gila bend 90 degrees, and for you folks in prescott, it's only going to reach 74 today. these lows all across the state, it's going to be very nice, 37 in grand canyon, 40 in flagstaff, 47 for folks over in prescott, 58 down in grand canyon, take a look at southern

down in nogales, 46 in douglas. take a look at st. john's, 42 degrees. let's take a look at our ten-day temperatures. you will see it is going to be very nice, 88 today, so we are nearing our high temperature at this hour so it's going to be fairly nice. 88 for tomorrow, and then as we take a glance to the next several days, you see 91 on wednesday. that is when we start to see some of those gusty country as well as into central arizona and then 95 on thursday. it will warm up just a the weekend, into the 90s, and then just drop down a little bit. >> we're fine. >> you have got your grass in. >> my grass is happy. we have to make sure we are keeping the watering going four times a day. we can handle it. the presidential sketches on snl, some people think they are funny. donald trump isn't one of those
