time are occupied around the clock at times and it is just gods a grace that we didn't have anybody injured and that is the most important thing. >> 2,000 satchel ballots for local republicans were lost in the fire. democrats raised more than $13,000 on go fund me to reopen the office. in tucson, a 2-year-old gets his hands on a gun and accidently shoots his mom in the arm. the gun was not locked up and left unattended. the mom was shot while trying to grab the gun from the boy. she is expected to recover. sheriff's office is investigating. a terrible scene in tollesson where two little girls and their father are dead in an apparent murder-suicide. the mom called police over the well being of the children and her ex-husband. nicole garcia is live with the latest on this for us.

family members stunned and heartbroken over the loss of the young girls who are only 4 and 5 years old. police have not released a motive in this murder-suicide but neighbors tell us the parents have recently split up. >> very heartbroken. >> reporter: family members describe the gills as happy little girls, full of life. sadly, their lives were cut short sunday night. the mother of the girls called police asking them to do a welfare the father. police say all three were found in an upstairs bedroom with gunshot wounds. >> it is very sad. it is very unfortunate news that should never happen to no children, nobody really. >> reporter: george's daughter often played with the little girls on their street. another neighbor who knew the family but didn't want to be identified said during happier times the home was filled with

he would do the lights for christmas. reporter: the girls' parents split up five months ago and the girls' mother moved out of the house. they did not say why the father killed the two little girls before killing himself. neighbors can't imagine what may have driven him to such a violent ending. >> i don't know how i would react or cope with it. they are babies. they are babies. r house several time in the past for servicing of papers, loud party complaints and check welfare calls. the family set up a go fund me page to raise money for expenses for the funerals. reporting live, i'm nicole garcia, fox 10 news. a motorcycle rider is killed when he and his passenger gets

when it hit the bike this morning. it happened at 40th street and roeser. the truck burst into flames and the man on the bike died. a man also on the bike was rushed to the hospital. a chandler couple is among four people who were killed and nine other injured that plunged off of a bridge in san diego. cruz and anna-marie were killed. the driver survived and he is identified as a 25-year-old who is a member of the u.s. navy. he is facing counts of d.u.i. and vehicular manslaughter. >> it is like something out of a movie. it landed on top of the couple enjoying the band and the driver pond out of the window in the

road their motorcycles to events across arizona. two bay area police officers survive an assassination attempt. the officers were on a break at a starbucks when adam powell stood in the doorway and attempted to open fire but the gun jammed. powell ran from the scene but they caught up with him and shot him three tim >> powell was wearing body armor and his assault rifle was affixed with a barrel type magazine that was holding 70 rounds of high powered ammunition. >> earlier in the day, powell's 2-year-old son accidently shot himself. the boy and his father are being treated in the same hospital. in response to violence

arpaio says he is going to have armed posse members to pair up with deputies on patrol. arpaio says his volunteer mall posse is gearing up to keep shoppers safe during the holiday season. a group of police chiefs endorsed paul penzone for sheriff. the phoenix law association has endorsed arpaio for his bid in re-election. it is a tight race for the white house in the clinton campaign is expanding in our state and others that are typically republican leaning and it plans to spend $2 million on tv ads and political heavyweights are coming to help support the rally. bernie sanders will be here tomorrow in tucson and flagstaff. chelsea clinton will be at a.s.u. on wednesday. michelle obama will be with tim

republic misses the mark on this one. the paper acts as if marijuana is not readily available in arizona. it is here and taxing it makes sense. voters will agree. two adult boxer dogs and five puppies were rescued from deplorable conditions. someone called in a tip that the puppies were being neglected. they did not have water in reach and eating food t dirt. all seven dogs were diagnosed with tick fever. >> they were so tick infested that it shook staff up. some of the puppies, i believe they would have died within 24 hours. >> there is a good ending. all of the dogs were rescued and they are recovering and being cared for by the humane society. they are cute pups. they will be going up for adoption soon. check out fox10phoenix.com for details. city of phoenix getting high
