right now there is a $30,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case. two young lives taken far too soon. the two teens were killed in a car crash last week and police say a possible drunk driver may be to blame. >> and tonight family and friends are holding a vigil to remember them and another teen still recovering in the hospital. our marcy jones is live at cesar chavez park with the latest tonight. >> reporter: it's very obvious school where the victims went to earlier that kids are just not bouncing around. they are not happy. they are somber right now which is appropriate for what happened. these two young lives lost like you said way too early. and now members of the community are saying this is the time to start the healing to come together and pay their respects to these two very special young people. >> students at betty h. fairfax high school say in the wake of the tragic death of two fellow

officers tried to save her once they realized what had happened but she died a week later at the hospital. new details on a pretty tricky rescue for firefighters at the gila river power station. they say a man was working at the plant this morning when something collapsed and then pinned him inside one of the transformers there. he was stuck and entangled in a wire for a couple of hours while crews try to figure out exactly how to rescue him. >> it's been a challenge. there was a the mechanism that had fallen and pinned him in there. and it had to be -- not so much lifted but they wanted to hold his attention on it so it wouldn't fall any more. and then it was just cutting him out of the wiring. >> and eventually the crews were able to pull that man out there is no word on his condition tonight. i'm syleste rodriguez. a wrong way driver causes a bad crash on the i-17 this morning.

little bit there for this time of year. 96 degrees. northeast at 10 miles per hour. and right now 97 in glendale. 98 degrees in mesa. 92 in fountain hills. in chandler 93 degrees right now and we still have a little bit of wind out there. not much but it's in the 20-mile-per-hour range down in the southeastern portion of the state. high pressure in place. warming things up. and as it continues in place, over the next couple of days we are going to stay on the side but as it moves off to the east, things will change a little bit with a couple of fronts starting to move in our direction and at least cooling things off to the north of us and we will circle that in. that second front will have quite an effect and we have taken the future cast and we moved it up to saturday afternoon. you see a little bit of cloudiness coming in and then we put it into motion for you for just a little bit here and you will see by sunday, yeah, we will see some moisture.

look - i supported joe arpaio for a lot of years... but lately, he spends so much time on tv or in court defending himself that he's not doing his job. he failed to serve warrants for violent crimes. he didn't even investigate when children were molested. and lawsuits against him have cost taxpayers over one hundred forty two million dollars. priority is keeping our community safe. that's why this year, i'm voting for paul penzone. yes, that time of year and there are several haunted hotels around our state. the travel and leisure magazine says the best one is in flagstaff and if you have been there you know why.
