thank you for joining us for fox10 news at 10. a thank you for joining us thanks for joining us. it was a terrifying situation on the i-17 as a semi hauling cattle sideswiped about two dozen cars. this just unfolded north of phoenix in black canyon city this afternoon. >> you can see the pictures behind me just incredible. four people had to be flown to

transported. marcy jones has the latest on the story. >> reporter: that's right, guys. drivers tell us it was horrifying to look in the rearview mirrors and see a semi truck barreling through two lanes of traffic. four people had moderate to serious injuries but d.p.s. says that number could have been higher. one semi, countless passenger, a few heart-stopping moments. >> pull er die. >> reporter: before she knew it, a semi truck was barreling through two lines of traffic. she tried to pull to the side then kelly and her daughter braced for impact. >> he went through for about 300 feet. >> reporter: she says it was something out of a movie. >> there were three to four helicopters that came in and

hauler was unable to stop. the cause is under investigation. >> i'm guaranteeded he was terrified and he is probably feeling bad. >> reporter: kelly's car along with # 2 -- 22 others took a big hit. >> thankfully, this is all it. he hit the left side, well, the right side and we went to the left. this door doesn't these are his tire marks. >> reporter: her friend luke says he is grateful they are all ok adding a reminder to stay vigilant on the road. >> if she would have stayed where she was, the injuries to her and her daughter could have been worse. she went to the side of the road like she should have done. reporter: the cattle was unharmed.

we're getting a look at a man accused of causing this deadly crash. phoenix police say 26-year-old randall nellston was impaired when he sped through a red light and hit a black car pushing the car into the semi truck. the truck driver suffered minor injuries. one of the women in the black car was a man sets up an online date and ends up being shot. this happened at 75th avenue and mcdowell. the man set up the date and when he showed up, two men approached him with a shotgun and opened fire. he is expected to be ok. detectives say the two men have be detained and the shooters are being questioned. there the far west valley, a

clear if a wedding was actually happening at the time of the shooting. it appeared to be a wedding venue. a truck's back window was painted with the words just married and there is that truck we were talking about. all of these fancy chairs lined up like a wedding ceremony. not much information on this or when the shooting happened. we're still county deputies to confirm. at least one person was taken to the hospital. we don't know how bad the injuries were. a 3-year-old girl rushed to the hospital today after a dresser fell on her at her home in surprise. this happened near grand avenue and one of the home's bedrooms. police say the girl fell and the dresser ended up on top of her. when crews arrived, the girl was

performing c.p.r.. police are still trying to piece together what happened. at this point, it is an active, ongoing investigation and we are hoping to get down to the bottom of it quickly and find out what caused this child to be hurt. >> that little girl is still in critical condition tonight. family and friends trying to raise money for the funerals of two little girls who police say were killed by their father in a murder-suicide. a lot of friends and family gathered at manny's mexican grill in goodyear. they washed hundreds of cars to raise money. investigators say last week, 36-year-old shot and killed his daughters before taking his own life. these little girls were just 4 and 5 years old.

morning. i'm just happy to see everyone sticking together and we're going to get to our goal. >> their goal is $10,000. family and friends trying to raise that amount for the girls' funeral. an honor trail honoring the granite mountain hotshots is almost complete. the 19 firefighters died until 2013 and the trail will be just under three miles long. there will be an observation deck and plaques with the firefighters' names. the trail is expected to open next month. thousands of people gathering to raise money and awareness at the ninth annual aids walk. the racers just over three miles in downtown phoenix. we talked to a woman who lost her h.i.v. positive son in 2004.

>> this one is different. this is not like anybody else who has run for president who has demonstrated unequivocally that he is unqualified and unfit to be president and commander in chief of the united states of mitigating america. a new abc poll shows christian leads trump nationally. early voting is in full swing in several states and five million people have cast their ballots. democrats are leading in the number of voters in north carolina but in ohio, the requests for early ballots are significantly down in several heavily democratic counties. the clinton campaign says they are not too worried right now.

there is good news. linda is trying to fit something good in here. it is going to be a few degrees cooler. this weekend was brutal in terms of the reminder that we're not in fall weather. the cold snap we're waiting for, if you're in new england, you got it. we had .5 of an inch of snow in new york over the weekend. for us, different picture. we are still in the 80's harbor. winds are light at 3 miss. as you look at the west coast, activity in southern california, parts of nevada. we are remaining dry at this hour. this area of low pressure in addition to a push over the international border could mean we could see a chance of showers in our forecast. you'll notice the biggest change is an increase in cloud cover.

arizona are gone. a little bit of activity around tucson. phoenix area, you are dry as a bone. we're seeing a tick upwards for dew points and that makes sense since we're seeing a push of moisture in northern arizona. we're seeing dew points in the 20's at this hour. the national picture relatively quiet. notice a few stray showers through the great lakes region we we saw the snowfall. the backside of the system leaving us with cool temperatures from upper 50's in boston, 64 in new york. across the board, 60's and 70's. a warm day for texas. 55, prescott. 56 for safford. 49, show low. tomorrow, 90 in phoenix.

annual zombie walk. covered in fake blood and wearing torn clothing and masks. zombies walk a certain way, they drag their foot. >> you can get a zombie costume for halloween. linda is doing a great walk. >> mexico city has been hosting the zombie walk for nine years now. right here in phoenix, many people gathering at steele dia de los muertos or day of the dead. it is a mexican indigenous holiday where they remember their loved ones. it is observed on november 1 and 2nd. downtown phoenix, you may have seen a lot of people in costume but this was not for halloween. >> it was for an event held at the phoenix convention center called the phoenix fan fest.
