>> reporter: the suspect was last seen wearing black shorts and a dark green shirt. witnesses saw two other people with that shoot ir. the sheriff is mobilizing the department's mounted posse to patrol the area and look for evidence. a new donation was offered as a reward. if you have any information, you're asked to call the sheriff's office, the reward at $3,500. >> you always hear about dangers furniture can pose to little ones and this is a case that proves that. a 3-year-old girl dies from injuries after a dresser fell on top of the girl. police believe the girl was climbing on the dresser when it tipped over and trapped her underneath. she was rushed to the hospital but sadly, she did not survive. they say no criminal charges are

university of flagstaff is accused of embezzling $300,000 from the school. he was the postal service manager. for more than 15 years, he issued checks and made card payments to two fake vendors he created. part of the money came from students' tuitions and fees. he is facing felony charges. trick-or-treaters will be heading out to fill their bags neighborhood targeted by the serial shooter has more on their minds than just having a good time. >> reporter: phoenix police say they haven't heard from too many people concerned about celebrating halloween with the serial street shooter still out there. we are headed to the west phoenix neighborhood where there has been a shooting incident to talk to the people who live there.

early ballots are rolling early ballots are rolling out here in arizona. the maricopa county recorder's office received 638,000 early ballots by mail and more than 6,000 over the counter. more than two million early ballots were mailed out across the state last week.

a pretty good batch going through right there. as we look back at the city, there is a flash here and there but not much moisture getting in. this is the futurecast to show you how quickly it is going to move out. it is going to be very fast. 90 degrees on the high today. a lot of 90-degree temperatures on the west side. 88 out at gateway. 65 in flagstaff. 74 in prescott. 72 at show low. this is your day. 90 on the high. 72 on the low. 85 and 62, normal high and low. record high at 96. record low at 41. take a look at the forecast highs for tomorrow at 89 degrees. we see 90-degree temperatures around the valley but temperatures back off a little bit tomorrow. we look at that nice-looking

as far as the deserts are concerned. we have a couple of areas, the west with scattered showers. snow in the northwest and in the northeast starting to see snow across portions of massachusetts and vermont. as 9 inches. some of it high elevation and some of it down where you don't expect a lot of snow this time of year. 80-degree temples holding on in the sou up as fall takes over. a few clouds, a slight chance of rain. 89 degrees for tomorrow. we'll see temperatures warm up a little bit out of that. 92 and 96 on thursday. you saw that was the record high for the day and back into the 90's again. there is your halloween with temperatures in the low 80's. watch your kids around water.

trying to solve a deadly police trying to solve a deadly mystery in the west valley. a car crashing into someone's block wall. two men inside the car were killed but it was not the crash that killed the men. andrew hasbun is live with the story. >> reporter: kari, this is all

the car barely missed the house. people who live in this home tell us they came outside to see what is going on found the two men in the car had gunshot wounds. people who live in the home heard a loud bang around 4:30 this morning. >> i heard my cousin screaming because she got scared so we came outside and that is when we saw the car right there. >> reporter: they found this ford crown victoria in their front yard and inside, two men with gunsh they immediately called 911. >> i don't know, we were sleeping and to wake up to that, it is crazy. my name is maria. >> reporter: when police arrived, they found the two men, believed to be 20-30 years old with multiple gunshot wounds. both died at the scene. >> i think his foot was at the gas peddle because the tires kept going and the whole thing
