residual scents that triggers the police canine unit. part of sky harbor also shut down today while police investigated a suspicious item. take a look at these pictures from fox 10 viewers. officers say what they were inspecting was an unattended item on a roadway just outside terminal 3. everything has been re-opened tonight but officers haven't said what that unattended item turned out to >> in avondale, three families in need of a place to stay after three mobile homes went up in flames. the red cross on scene near highway 85 and main street and crews say that 15 people were affected by the fire. they are still assessing the extent of the damage and they will be helping those families find a place to stay. no word on what started that fire. authorities arrest two people in prescott on drug charges today. the detectives searched the

o'connor. they found drugs in their homes. deputies arrested them for selling heroin and meth. detectives searched another home and are looking for 26-year-old john mendez. if you have any information on his whereabouts, you asked to call the yavapai county sheriff's office. now you seen these before. take a look. the cameras. if you drive 23459 east valley you may notice some more photo radar cameras that are being reactivated this week. the three where the cameras are turned on are arizona avenue and warner avenue. arizona and ocktal you road and a new camera set up at dobson road and ray roads. the camera will be looking out for speeding and for red light violations. they will be operational on tuesday. it was an intense game five of the world series. the chicago cubs trying to stay alive. makes me want to sing with hopes

today for former today for service held a memorial today for former today for a memorial service held today for a former governor, rose mofford. hundreds of people including all six of arizona's living governors packed the orpheum heat toker to pay their respects. stefania okolie has that story. >> it was certainly a packed house here today at the orpheum as hundreds gathered including all of arizona's living governors to honor former governor rose mofford, a woman remembered for her distinct devotion to the people of arizona and i can tell you how she was spoken of today.

they call her arizona's rose. a true treasure of the state. a woman who made history and leaves a legacy. >> i know now as governor i'm expected to have the courage of a pioneer woman. the compassion of gandhi. the wisdom of solomon. and the energy of magic johnson. >> and rose mofford did that as she became the first female governor for the state of arizona. from that day forward, the state would change. >> and she helped us heal. >> today hundreds gathered to reflect on her life, a life defined by what she did for the people. >> you know they said she wasn't a policy wonk. she was a people wonk. >> she came into office during what was described as a turbulent and divisive time in arizona. those who watched her lead said she created unity the state has not yet seen.

now. 80s in the forecast. let's take you outside and show you the relatively clear conditions outside. here is a picture of the state fair. final night tonight, last chance to get out and enjoy the funnel cake and we will see cooler weather as we get into the next few days. we will take a look at our sat-rad and notice the conditions are clear off the coastline. we do have a few areas of low pressure off the coastline in the pacific northwest. while southern california and arizona are looking pretty good, not the case for our to the north. this area of low pressure is going to help us out in terms of cooling conditions. area of high pressure is going to shift to the east. those numbers coming down a few degrees at least as we get into the next couple of days including your halloween. temperatures ash the state right now -- around the state look like, this 57 for prescott. 66 in globe. 61 for st. johns. 51 for flag. 79 if you are step out in lake havasu right now and same story for yuma.

73 buckeye. same for florence. 72 for cave creek. mid-70s for deer valley and for scottsdale. apache junction at 74. so close to tieing a record today, many of you probably happy we didn't. back in 2014 we hit 94 for the afternoon high today. 93 and it's ten degrees above the seasonal norm. we should be in the low 80s by this point in the month. halloween as we mentioned is looking great for all of the trick or treaters out there if you are headed out on the earlie will help keep us in the mid-80s. the 5:00 hour. mid--- and then by the 9:00 hour if you are out trick or treating we will see mid-70s on tap. we are seeing activity through parts of oregon, washington, northern california and nevada. rain and snow in the ciara. the real story -- sierra. and 9 real temperature is above average temperatures. take a look at these 80s across the board throughout the southeast. these numbers should easily be

and upper 60s. so well above the seasonal norm that jet stream just too far to the north to keep us cool. arizona tonight will cool down to about 67 for lake havasu. we will see 62 for casa grande and 46 for st. johns. 50 for winslow. 43 for flag. page in the upper 50s and then tomorrow we are looking at numbers from 70 in window rock to 82 for lake havasu. and 84 expected for the valley. 84 for safford as well and then sedona 74 degrees. tonight cloud cover dissipating a bit finally cooler temperatures. we are looking at mid-80s for the most part. sky harbor probably coming in at 86 degrees. as the system moves through we will continue to enjoy the cooler temperatures. low 80s and we will warm up a little bit and then another storm system toward the end of next week maybe bringing a slight chance of showers. a lot of disagreement in the computer models but we know 80s cool down and that's what you should focus on. good weather ahead. good. we were looking forward to it. i'm looking forward to it.

a quick trip back to it was a quick trip to earth for three astronauts. back to earth. after spending the last 115 days on station. the crew consisted of three astronauts including american kate reubens. it took them three hours to undock from the international space station and land to kazakstan. during their four month mission, the astronauts used a dna sequencer for the first time ever in space and laid out plans to install commercial space taxis. tomorrow is the big night. it's halloween and it seems like all of the adults partied this weekend. tomorrow it's trick or treating

we have wrappers and glow sticks which are toxic to dogs. and then we have little things that they could chew or swallow that are fun to have around swrech them on decorations but we have to keep things like this up in a place that dogs and cats return able to access them. like high, that's a good place to put it your advice to use fake candles instead of real candles. >> one final look at our trick
