charleston, south carolina to potentially hear the case of a white former police officer charged in the shooting death of an unarmed black driver. 50-year-old walter scott was shot in the back last year as he ran from a traffic stop. the defense says the clip doesn't show the whole story and that there was a struggle between the two men before the shooting. the former officer faces 30 years to life if convicted of murder. this is surveillance video from new orleans. he's spraying bug spray around into people, and then look at that, he pulls out that big machete and starts swinging it around there. also swinging it at tsa agents. >> wow. >> there comes the machete, look at that. >> and then you see the people just run. >> it could have been really bad. he's also spraying bug spray while he does that. i am sure people are thinking,

thankfully, nobody was killed. white later shot by a sheriff's deputy. he died at the hospital after refusing medical treatment before his beliefs. the driver of a chevy convertible injured 22 people after he smashed into a jeep he tried to pass. this is all in a parking lot in martinsville, virginia. the driver was taken into custody. central italy hit 6.6 earthquake turned towns into rubble yesterday. at least 20,000 were hurt, thousands more homeless. a devastating earthquake in august -- and you have got to see and hear one man's hugely popular halloween display.
