stories, some november rain and dust hitting parts of the valley. i thought i woke up and was in chicago today. >> was really weird. >> maybe a weird dream. these pictures pictures from skyfox about an hour ago. >> this was blowing dust, a warning about blowing dust until 4:00. plains were being -- planes were being careful flying in and out of the airport. >> and then there was rain and cooler air behind it dave munsey is keeping an eye on everything out there dave, this is a crazy storm. >> is that very unusual storm. i'm kind of racking my brain here trying to remember when we had a big dust storm in november. and i'm drawing a blank. i have done that before when i racked my brain. that's not a big deal. this is a little bit unusual to see all of this. and that's where we had a tornado warning right in between winslow andhallbreak -- hallbrook and we were looking at rough weather around the state

pretty heavy. some good wind behind it. earlier the dust really reduced the visibilities and gave everybody quite a time coming down the road and seeing where they came through the city. look at that moisture and look at these amounts. see down by maricopa, almost two inches. a little bit to the west of maricopa an inch and a half and then you see by sun lakes almost two inches in that area as well. we take a look at this stuff from the southeast coming up and once again look at coolidge, two inches there. a half an inch by sackten and up by maricopa we see that 1.9 once again. by eloy 1.3. we will have more for you coming up in the next hour of this newscast. >> dave has been busy. next week voters will decide on proposition 206, whether to increase the minimum wage in arizona to $12 an hour. many employees are looking for a

mean for the future of their organizations and their businesses. fox 10's nicole garcia is looking into it and joins us live. there are two sides to this county. >> there definitely is. a valley non-profit that serves developmentally disabled adults and family are bracing for a consequences of minimum wage hike. he is not for or against proposition 206, but the higher cost of labor would mean fewer dollars for the disabd they serve and less government aid increases their future could be in jeopardy. >> trevor barton has cerebral palsy. he and his father rely on mark community resource centers for support. christopher jones is one employee that works directly with developmentally disabled clients every day. both trevor and christopher would be directly affected by an increase in arizona's minimum

just don't do it. it don't do it any more. everything is going up. except the minimum wage. >> while workers like christopher would get a pay boost if prop 206 passes, clients like trevor could see a reduction in programs and services. that's because this organization relies on government funding. >> we calculate for our organization alone it will be about $800,000 per year and this would start january 1. we were concerned about waiting for >> if arizona lawmakers don't include a boost for education and social services in the upcoming state budget, the state's most vulnerable citizens could suffer. >> to make a non-profit like the mark center suffer the consequences of that without making a adjustment, i think it's terrible. >> the ceo urging lawmakers to develop a contingency plan if the coming weeks.

financial compensation for pain and suffering and all of his medical expenses. he needs to slow down number one. just slow down the eating and then number two you can sue for anything. we know that. a new survey ranks nation's best and worst airports and sky harbor comes out on top. the study looked at 30 of the busiest airports and used data from sources like the faa and airport websites. the biggest factor in the ranking was how easily the airport can get you air and on time to your destination. the second biggest factor accessibility. how quickly can you get to it from downtown and also what kind of amenities does the airport offer like free wi-fi, number of available lounges. the worst airports no surprise here, laguardia, newark and jfk. they had the highest number of delays, parking was expensive. and just getting around was a hassle. sky harbor really isn't just a

a fox 10 news alert out and that "fox 10 news" alert out of tempe where a car has ended up in a canal. here is a live look from an adot camera along us-60 near priest and base line near the arizona mills mall. there is another look tonight from skyfox over the scene. no word yet if weather may have caused that driver to end up in the water. we can tell you that tempe fire was able to get the driver out of the canal. we are not sure if that person suffered any injuries but a

crews breaking out the windows of the car to make sure nobody else was inside we will keep on top of this story bringing updates as they become available. we know officers are investiating and again we will check back out there as we get more details. wild weather across arizona today. parts of maricopa and pinal county hit by a giant wall of dust followed by rain and we had a thunder storm warning for a little while up in the north part of the state. and this comes a little more than a month after monsoon ended. no dust storms are not common after the summer months, they can happen any time of the year. here is a look at the blowing dust as it approached camelback mountain. the national weather service says a storm formed and the dust picked up in the casa grande and headed up near the i-10 and i-8 junction and moved into the southeast part of the valley. fox 10's kristy siefkin tweeted this image saying huge wall of dust moving up i-10
