breathed in fumes and did not feel well. luckily nobody had to be taken to the hospital. crews are now airing out that building. also new at noon, firefighters called to a home in south phoenix after fire breaks out this morning, skyfox over the neighborhood near 19th street and southern. the fire started in the attic and spread into the garage, which had been converted into a bedroom. a mother and child were home when the first situation took place, the first fire. both got out safely, but the family, which children, is now displaced, the cause is under investigation. a jury is in deliberations over three cold case killings, david watson accused of killing his first ex-wife in 2000, and then gunning down his mother and her mother's friend three years later. the case went to the jury yesterday. deliberations will resume in the morning. they are still going on.

agreed to a four-year suspension of his law license after a complaint he wrote about the jodie arias case. they also say that he revealed evidence that was deemed inadmissible by the judge. sheriff's deputies are trying to solve what looks like a murder. a man's body was found at a river bottom in laveen near 67th avenue and southern. deputies don't know if he was killed there or if his body may have just been dumped it's unclear how long the body had been in the bottom of the river. new at noon, glendale has a new chief of police. rick st. john has been serving as interim police chief since july when former chief debra black moved to prescott. st. john has more than two decades of service with the glendale police department. president elect donald trump expected to no 13 of his cabinet picks today. he is said to be offering the post of attorney general to alabama senator jeff sessions,

temps, 68 in chandler, 70 at deer valley airport, 72 in surprise, and 67 out in fountain hills. so we are probably going to finish our day just about where we ought to be, 69 in yuma, 56 for kingman, 47 at st. john's, and a cool 40 degrees in flagstaff. boy, they are not going to see much more tan that up that way. so be prepared for a chilly finish to the work week. look at the rest of the country, though, boy, what a difference in conditions here. cold air spillg great plains and into the rockies. look at how mild things are out east. it's 76 in memphis, but 59 in st. louis. you can see this is the leading edge of that cool air. it continues to push its way eastward. good for you, detroit. you're killing it today, 72 degrees, 76 in charlotte, and as you might expect, the clash between the two is causing some real weather. we have got showers and thundershowers lined up from central illinois down through missouri and arkansas, but look
