the two were involved in an altercation. the officer did not have to go to the hospital for treatment. we'll have an update for you on fox 32 news 9:00 and 10:00. the coldest morning in the valley in several months. a lot of people bundling up with sweaters. it was a cold day in the high country but not cold enough, according to snowbowl. warm for making snow. hoping to open tomorrow morning. dave munsey joins us with a look at the forecast. >> reporter: there is a lot going on as far as the weather is concerned. if you look across the country here, cold weather found its way in arizona but across a lot of the country today. as we get a look at what is going on, you can see the snow across minnesota.

for blizzards along with winter storm warnings. it was one of the coldest mornings we've had, 47 degrees. it was the temperature on the 7th, 47 degrees. page, 30. 16 at window rock. 18 at show low. any kind of a take a look at tomorrow. tomorrow morning, we will add nine to 10 degrees to a couple of those temperatures. what about the valley? we'll have that for you coming up. >> as dave mentioned, the first major snow system is blasting parts of the midwest. a food of snow falling in parts of minnesota. there were whiteout conditions and wind gusts up to 50 miles an hour. part of that state under blizzard warnings tonight.

well. investigators have identified two young men killed in a fiery wrong-way crash caused by a suspected drunk driver. on the morning after halloween, 22-year-old alejandro rosas of phoenix collided head on with anthony shaw. both men were killed in the wreck. investig stop rosas from getting into his car saying he was too drunk to drive but they were not successful. a jury begins deliberateing begin discussing the trial of a murder trial. they believe the killings were

full custody of his daughter. he worked for the tucson fire department for 20 years. police department is under new leadership. rick st. john have been named head of the department. he has been with the department for more than two decades and start started as a patrol officer. he is part of the domestic violence response. the loop 202 project is not in the area say silt causing a problem they did not expect. their homes are being overrun with scorpions. some told us they have been finding a dozen scorpions a week. experts say a mass movement of scorpions is normal when their natural habitat is disturbed but the freeway construct may not be the only factor here. >> most of it is from the

of kindness for one family two acts of kindness for one family down on their luck in a matter of days right before thanksgiving. dan posted a message on the website next door. he said his family was in desperate need of help. they had a not enough money to move. a woman gave them her vehicle. days later, a man gave them $300 deposit for their new apartment. >> humbling to have strangers to don't have a clue who we are and come to our aid.

the money and the car. phoenix woman saves for months to buy tickets to see adele but it appears that someone has taken advantage of that woman and ripped her off when she thought she bought the tickets over craig's list. >> reporter: this is a story about a woman who really loves adele, really wants to see her when she comes to the valley next week. didn't have tickets so she bought some over craig's list. sidney loves adele and wants to see her next week when she comes back to phoenix. sidney didn't have tickets. stub stubhub was too pricey. she saw two tickets on craig's list for $250. >> he goes by larry k. but i name or not.f that is his real- >> reporter: larry k. said he was in california. he phroplsed to e-mail the tickets but the tickets never
