fox 10 news alert. first on fox tonight, a major backup on valley freeways and this is one of the reasons, a crash involving multiple car, two of them caught fire. >> this was a bad scene. the crash happened a couple hours ago but the southbound lanes at loop 101 and us-60 still closed. several vehicles and 10 people were involved in the crash and two of them were taken to the hospital with trauma-like injuries. >> take a look at the backup after the crash. at one point, traffic was backed up from the loop 202 to us-60. right now, adot says the backup has improved but they are asking people to avoid the area. look at that picture. look at the headlights.

marketing to young first-time users and heroin addicts. >> it is flash to get kids to look at this stuff. >> reporter: parents unaware that the doorstep delivery could chill their children. >> it is on the internet. we can't stop all of it. pay attention to what they are buying. pay attention to what they are are looking at on the internet and make sure you are not one of the people that has to deal the problem in your house. >> reporter: d.e.a. tells us they have seized 50 pounds of fentanyl and you only need a tiny amount to be toxic so the 50 pounds is amount to kill thousands of people. if you're found in possession of opioids you will face prison time.

according to global water. they suffered a water main failure ahropbt porter -- along porter road. some homes and businesses have no water. we spoke with global water and they tell us the water pressure is slowly getting back to normal. they expect things to be fully functional by later on tonight. he got his lights off. he is smashing into the back of my car twice. >> a man following her ramming into the back of her car over and over as she drove down the road. this ordeal ended with a suspect crashing into another car and a police officer cruiser before this man was taken to jail. >> last week, we heard from the woman and tonight, we're hearing from the 911 operator on the other end of the call.

story. >> reporter: we first heard the tapes a week ago and there are several things we heard about the road rage incident that ended right here here at 48th and thomas. when we talked to the victim a week ago or so, she had harsh words for the 911 operator. we talked to the 911 operator right in the middle of a 14-hour shift today. >> scottsdale 911, what is the address of your emergency. >> i don't know where i'm at. a guy is hitting into the back of me trying to kill me on the road. >> reporter: a scary incident on the road nearly two weeks ago. kathy was doing the best she could in the dispatch center to keep her cool. >> all i could hear was screaming the moment i picked it up. i felt like i was trying to

her help. sometimes i felt like i was failing on it. >> reminded me that situation and how horrible the 911 dispatcher was. she had no empathy, she was screaming over me. >> reporter: she was not shy in criticizing her when she spoke with fox 10 news a week ago and that is something the long time police veteran understands. >> i wish all of us could have been calmer and gotten help her quicker. and her being able to listen and followed some of the directions. >> oh, my god. >> ma'am, where are you right now? >> reporter: a calm demeanor in a stressful situation can be presented as cold. how do you balance being cold and calm when you're on the end of a frightening 911 call? >> it is a fine line. you catch yourself getting into

you're being mean and scolding them and you just have to reign yourself back. you're human and you're trying to give direction and sometimes people aren't following it. >> reporter: one of the hardest situations to get ahold of. the man in that crash tried to commit suicide a day after his arrest. it is clearly something that both women have thought about a lot in recent mattrodewall. they say a man was spotted in a red car. officers followed the car in a home near 27th street and broadway that is when the guy got out of the car and ran away. that neighborhood is not in any danger. students at a chattanooga,

horrific bus crash that killed five classmates. >> this small community is coming together for a special memorial. marc martinez joins us live with the story. >> reporter: it is so hard to imagine the tragedy that is happening there. hundreds of people showing up to remember the young lives lost and to pray for the victims still recovery as investigators trying to figure out what happened. >> reporter: they came from all of heavy hearts following a horrific school bus crash on monday that killed five children and injured two dozen others. >> i knew a lot of kids on the bus. i knew two that didn't survive. >> reporter: she met with the mother of one of the little boys killed in the bus crash. >> he was an only child and it is a struggle. i have one child myself.

the bus to veer out of control and hit a tree. they believe the driver, johnthony walker may have been speeding before the crash. his mother says he called after the impact. >> get the kids off of the bus, bodies u.s. -- was everywhere and the phone disconnected. >> reporter: the school remained open today. grief counselors were on hand trying tried to explain what happened. >> we have children right now fighting for their lives so there have been at ministers at the hospital. we've been at the school. we try to get in everywhere we could. >> we're showing love and we should. these are children. we should be here. >> reporter: tonight, walker, the bus driver remains behind

the car. an elderly man was flown to the hospital. we are told he has life threatening injuries. we have another news alert to tell you about, southbound lanes on us-60 are back open. d.p.s. closed it for three hours. d.p.s. tells us a driver in a white pick-up truck was speeding and passing cars on the shoulder between the h.o.v. lane and barrier wall. the truck hit the wall and crashed into six other vehicles. one of them caught fire. two people in the car are in the hospital with trauma injuries. d.p.s. says up pairment -- impairment is suspected in this crash. a woman was being rammed by another driver and she called for help. she said the 911 operator was cold over the phone.
