7:18 am
>> you know, harry, this is the most promising domestic issue. the fact that perhaps paul ryan and barack obama can talk, can negotiate, work out compromises. compromise is a dirty world in washington. it is according to republican candidates. if they can work together, maybe, maybe, they can get something going. it's hard to say what it could be. maybe on budget issues. certainly not on guns. chuck did an interview with spike lee we'll be showing to talk about the horrific gun violence in the country. there are issues unresolved. it's a large part of why people are so angry at washington. maybe things can change. i'm an optimist. >> weeks without threat of a government shutdown. how about that? >> a good sign. >> andrea mitchell, thank you so much. we're going to see andrea in a bit on "meet the press," when they will be joined by presidential candidate senator bernie sanders. up next, look out below. wipeouts galore, as dads try out the new hoverboards and drones
