good morning, i'm richard lui,. affluenza teen has been taken into the custody. both were taken to authorities because they could not establish legal immigration status. couch was 16 at the time and had a blood alcohol three times the limit. sentenced to probation but missed a check in earlier this month. law enforcement officials believe he fled after the video surfaced that appeared to show couch violating his probation. although it is unclear if anyone seen in that video was actually drinking. also extreme weather and fatalityies after winter hits with a vengeance. the storm is now moving north, knocking out power to hundreds

in multiple states. in wisconsin, heavy snow and ice caused an enormous gas station canopy to collapse on cars below. and in illinois telephone poles snapping. and elsewhere flooding waters. and in missouri at least ten are dead from continued heavy flooding. >> reporter: snow, ice and strong winds have pounded the plains and midwest. in iowa some roads were closed where as much of a foot of snow. thousands were left without power in oklahoma. one family thankful for their generator. >> the heat and the refrigerator.
