>> are you injured. >> no injuries on me. >> anchor: so that conversation was with police dispatch right after the shots rang out. surveillance cameras caught the whole thing. started early thursday morning at a convenience store on maryland parkway and twain. it 34-year-old lawrence threatening store clerks with a gun demanding money. short time later officer spotted the vehicle, chased him. and investigators say that's when he turned a gun and fired and hit the patrol car but not officer. >> the vehicle was struck. the officer was lucky that he was not struck also. and it just shows the sacrifice that officers make every day. >> anchor: metro said that manrique crashed the vehicle, ran inside of the win resort after hotel security spotted him, officers took him into custody without any further trouble. >> and a man is still fighting

stung by hundreds of bees. and there are still bees swarming in that neighborhood fort apache and russell. exterminators say it will take 24 hours to get rid of them for good. man stung was bee keeper first day on the job. not wearing proper protective equipment. and that man remains in the hospital. and exterminators say the hive had about 700 bees. >> and at least, 13 people are france. what police think caused the blaze. why it ignited so quickly. australian police say they thwarted what could have been a serious threat. we will tell you how they were able to catch the man that they say was involved in a series of counter terrorism raids.

>> anchor: time now is 6:11. welcome back. police in northern france say, at least, 13 are dead and six others injured, after an explosion and fire at a bar. more than 50 firefighters battled the blaze last night in normandy city of roun. birthday party taking place at the time. and teens and 20s. and judicial inquiry has been opened to determine the cause of the blaze. and initial reports say it was an accident. and the local paris normandy newspaper said fire ignited in the basement. and ceiling quickly ignited when candles were lit. >> anchor: and australian police are saying today they thwarted what could have been a serious threat following the arrest of a 31-year-old man during a series of counter

outcome of an independent investigation. and at least, 10 people are hurt after a railing collapse in new jersey sending dozens of people tumbling to the concrete below. it happened during a snoop dogg and whiz concert last night. collapse happened at the popular outdoor venue on camden new jersey waterfront. camden county spokesperson said that 10-to-15 people were hurt. but number could rise. five fans were t t hospitals for treatment. and their conditions were not immediately known. and the concert was about halfway through when the accident happened. concert organizers later canceled the rest of the show. and cleared the pavilion. and the one orlando fund created to benefit families of those killed and wounded in pulse nightclub shootings has reached $23 million. the administrator of the fund is warning there could be problems distributing the money next

stosquabble. administrator ken fineberg told hundreds of family members at recent meetings they have to go to probate court to determine who represents a victims estate. mass shooting at the club left 49 dead and more than 50 wounded. the money will go to families that lost loved ones. those injured and those that escaped without being hurt. and applicants have until september 12 to submit a claim and payments will begin two weeks later. and an arizona officer called a hero after providing an inmate from kill herself. all caught on camera. and it happened monday at the jail in mayor co-ba k the sheriff said that inmates in question had threaten suicide to the officer in the past. and once the officer opened the jail cell to escort her to medical unit woman tried to jump over a top floor railing. and the officer had to pull the inmate back.
