brazilian authorities sparking controversy over the story those u.s. swimmers initially told. they are accused now of fabricating their story about being robbed at gunpoint on sunday. that footage from the gas station in question. they are accused of vandalizing the bathroom. you don't see that in the video. the video shows the swimmers sitting around hands up in the air at one point and being told to sit down. lochte and the have -- two of the swimmers never told their story to anyone. it was just lochte and one other swimmer. both are facing possible inindictments for falsely reporting a crime. the olympic committee is forced to apologize for their behavior saying it was distracting. after being pulled offer the plane for questioning, they were able to leave last night.

must have off time. >> they do get time off and they have gotten to see a lot of events. bryan na has seen beach volleyball and she's met up with other volunteers growing their network of friends here. they've been able to get time off. usually for example she was doing the golf portion and when the golf was finished she had time to enjoy her time here. they certainly have found some time to enjoy the sights and sounds of rio. >> dana: chloe not the only person from las vegas working at these olympics. thanks and we'll check back in in about an hour.

talking. we're telling the story from the rooftop here because we wanted the skyline of our beautiful city behind me to talk about the fact that the guy who is gaining international attention for this less than beautiful statute we could say of donald trump is here from las vegas. his name is joshua monroe. he goes by ginger. he was hired to great these statutes. ginger is known for his haunted houses. he used 300 pounds of clay and silicone to create the statutes. took him about four months. they are in five different cities. san francisco, los angeles area, new york, cleveland and seattle. monroe talks about this and said it wasn't a political statement but he does know these statutes are controversial. >> i'm just an artist who created an art piece.
