responsible for killing a teenager according to local police. it was over an ipad. devastating not only the family but the community in general. that 15-year-old you're seeing pictures of was randomly targeted for his ipad he carried in the year 2013. you are seeing the faces of the men that local police believe are responsible for taking marcus' life. struggle over that ipad. he didn't want to give it up because he needed it for his homework and it was a gift from his father was dragged underneath the get away car and lost his life. his dad says the last three years have been tough to say the least. >> a big part of me wanted it to be a dream. i still want it to be a dream. i wish it was a nightmare and

>> kim: we have a dramatic moment that was caught on camera. we take you to the orlando, florida area for this one. specifically a highway overpass. there was a crash and as a result you see this mother and son dangling off the side there. this happened just before 11:00 yesterday morning. a car driven by a 27-year-old woman. this is the orlando area going

state road 408. the car losing control going over that barrier. she's inside with her six-year-old son. firefighters secured the vehicle before it would go down anymore. rescuers had to break out the back window to pull them to safety. they only had minor injuries and were remarkably calm. the mom charged with careless driving. what a scene and jus steel to remain calm in such a dramatic moment. it was a scary weekend for people in the midwest that. area clobbered with bad werth. one woman said she saw something we're seeing now that looks like a movie. we take to you that scene ahead. a bittersweet story for a family hailing their dog a hero for saving a baby's life. we'll fill in the details on this one still to come.

the midwest n. ohio two tornadoes touching down in the central portion of the state. two more hitting in the plains of indiana. in michigan reports of 7 twisters not to mention the heavy rain which led to flooding. >> it was just like the movies. i had watched the wizard of oz

like. there has been flooding in kansas and texas and they warn people to get to higher ground. a concern i heard for the first time this morning because of all the standing water in louisiana, they are worried about zika becoming a huge problem in those areas because it's mosquito breed ground. >> dana: the president of the united states is done with his vacation so he's there tomorrow. a few sprinkles around here a possibility. we had a couple of showers late last night. very active afternoon as you can see from southeast career and technical academy. plenty of clouds. not a bunch of rain. the heaviest stuff we saw was on the east side of the valley. that happened last night just before 11:00 or so. 77-degrees currently. this is flamingo and sand hill.

98 tomorrow and back into the triple digits and dry on wednesday, thursday. it looks like our long hot summer, the hottest days of summer over. >> kim: i hope you are right. we have an update on the blue cut fire. all evacuation orders have been lifted for people living in that area. this takes us to san bernardino. you are seeing pictures on your screen now. at the height of this evacuation orders. this fire has destroyed at least 105 homes. they have it 85% contained on this monday morning. we still don't know how this one started. democratic vice presidential nominee tim kaine is going to be in town today. he's going to be speaking at an iron workers convention.

last night after spending two weeks in martha's vineyard. thrived late last night with the first children in tow as well. and they are i'm sure happy to be back in the white house this morning and the president headed to louisiana tomorrow. a hearing is going to be held to address a lawsuit regarding clinton's use of a private email server when she was secretary of state. federal judge issued an order requiring clinton answer questions about her emails. they are seeking all clinton emails between 2009 to 2013. the judge gave until october to give clinton questions and she has 30 days to answer them. >> kim: matt lauer scores an

drugs containing feint nil. many pills were falsely labeled as wattson 385. pills were found in a dressing room and in bottles of vitamin c and as (. the test done on prince before his death did not in his system. he likely took the dose that killed him 24 hours before his death. >> kim: a family dog saved the baby from the fire but the dog did not survive. she just went out to her car lacework to get something when all of a sudden her home was engulfed in flames. she tried to rescue her daughter. when firefighters got to the

the second floor in a bedroom and the family dog had put his body on top of the little girl. he was laying on top of her to protect her. paramedics were able to revive the little girl but the family dog did not survive. the cause is under investigation and her daughter is in serious condition being monitored day-to-day but they are hoping for a full recovery. >> dana: a man in texas shows us that age is really number. this is apparently real.
