95. a lot of sunshine as well. triple digits are on their way back. >> dana: we have breaking news from overnight. this happened hours ago. a woman hit and killed by a motorcycle at lake mead and civic center. police say she was walking outside of the cross wack when it happened. the accident shut down part of that intersections but it has since reopened. >> kim: to the henderson area where police are investi hours ago veneer the m resort. police performing a welfare check at that home when they found two people dead inside. they believe one person shot the other and then took his or her own life. the victim and shooter in their late 30's, possibly early 40's. police don't believe anyone else was inside the home at the time. the coroner will release the names of the victim and shooter.

on. >> dana: police say he murdered his wife. he says it was a mercy killing. >> a 62-year-old man from henderson, did he kill his his chronically ill wife. he called 911 to say his wife had been shot. she fibromyalgia. he bought the gun and told her if she wanted to die to shoot herself. the hearing will be to determine if the case will be held over for trial. there is a police report in it that states he told detectives

with ammunition and the gun fired. he said in that police report he didn't know if the gun fired accidentally or intentionally. all this will play out if a preliminary hearing happens. the defense could waive their right to a preliminary hearing which will waive this case to trial. >> kim: right now we're talking about friends of a local woman who they say really is not adding up how she lost her life. they hired a private investigator because they don't think what happened being reported actually happened. it has to do with her death out in death valley. they are calling it suspicious in all capitol letters. information surrounding her untimely death is not adding up.

august 28, friends went out to the dirt road where she was found near the baker area. her body found by her car. she took video of this entire area. she was headed to fort erwin to celebrate her 40th birthday. never made it. they don't understand why she went down that dirt road. a private investigator has been fielding questions on this. her toyota was found morean a road not meant for cars. that is suspicion number one. her body was found five miles further down the road. >> if you get lost in the desert or any place, normally you are going to take the route back to where you came from. you are not going to walk in the desert. you are going to walk on the road you came in through. >> as he continues his private investigation, we're waiting word here to hear from the san

park officials saying they didn't think it was caused by humans at all. they thoughted the fallen over because of age or weather. the formation was 7 to 10 feet across. sat behind a fence area on the out "asia edge" of the bluff. the incident remains under review and criminal charges are being considered. >> dana: a lot of criminal charges are brought in this case. the president of the philippines expressing regret over calling the president of the united states a son of a you know what. this is a statement read by a spokesman. he regrets his comments have caused concern and distress. he was scheduled to pete with president obama but that meeting has been postponed by the white house in light of those comments.

police say that eight-year-old bella was taken from her home in september of 2014. her little body found a few days later that. man you are seeing a picture of was arrested not long after her body was found and he happened to be a family friend and was living with the family at one point. he faces murder charges, child abuse charges, kidnapping charges and in light of that new information they may also throw sexual assault charges into the death penalty. >> dana: happening today. world war ii veteran is going to be laid to rest. his funeral will have full military honors at the southern nevada veterans memorial cemetery in boulder city beginning two and a half hours from now. a steady stream of people stopped by yesterday for his visitation to pay their respects. he was one of our favorite

>> kim: back in this country we have dramatic footage coming in out of georgia as two little kids were taken when a carjacker doesn't realize they are in the car but rips off the vehicle. they are ok. they are back home safe and sound right now. within this footage from saturday night you see the driver of the car leaving it running, he runs into the gas station. twin one-year-old daughters in the car. try explaining that one toou takes advantage of the opportunity and jumps in the vehicle and speeds away. police found that car abandoned not far from the gas station. both little ones still in their car seats doing just fine. however one of the car seats happened to be outside the vehicle which is a little odd. both one-year-olds are ok. >> i can hear the conversation right now the wife telling the husband you left the car running
