before police arrived. cage is not accused in this incident but he had been hanging out with vince when all this went down. the incident happened in april. it was around 5:30 in the evening. it was a thursday and this was outside the aria resort. he was sited on suspicion of misdemeanor battery. in june he appeared through his attorney and i had a chance to talk with him that the court appears. he says he is investigating the allegation and evidence and urged the public not to prejudge the situation. we understand morning he will be in court as this case moves forward. maybe they'll set a trial date.

report what lapse. >> a device exploded early this morning as a bomb squad robot examined this backpack appearing to contain a pipe bomb found near a new jersey transit station. the explosion in elizabeth new jersey was not part of the controlled detonation. it was an accident. it exploded trying to cut wires and disarm it. this was one of five inside the backpack. the backpack was found anyway garbage can who thought it might contain valuables. they got it and took it and sawed the wires and a weird device so they called authorities immediately. this is the second explosion in new jersey since saturday morning.

at least 29 people injured but fortunely no one killed. bomb squad found and disposed of a secondary twice. the act was intentional but remains unclear if it is related to terrorism. security stepped up outside of the united nations building in new york city following that explosion. leaders from around the world descending on new york today for that united assembly. security tight and tension high as police officers patrolling outside the building, barricades set up and a lot of officers are wearing bullet proof vests. they are not taking any chances. >> tensions are high across the country because minnesota police are continuing to investigate a stabbing inside a mall as an act

they plan to execute a search warrant for a second apartment there. investigators are working to determine a motive for the attack. >> a man is dead after a shooting in north las vegas this morning. when officers arrived on the scene they found a man with a gunshot wound take on the umc where he died. police don't have much to go on at this point but say a small blue pickup may have been involved in the shooting and it does not appear to be random. they are asking anyone with information to call crime stoppers. you can remain anonymous. >> metro is searching for the driver of a mini van involved

just north of downtown near rancho high school. police and witnesses say the mini van ran a stop sign and hit a 56-year-old name phillip porter and then took off. porter suffered critical injuries. police have photos of the impact. the van takes off. it shows the hit and run vehicle as an older mini van with blue metallic paint and because of this side it will have left side damage and broken left side passenger window. if you see a mini van with a messed up left side call authorities immediately. >> a frightening situation in arizona when a small plane crashes into a house. there it is. that plane going down straight into a house.
