>> that was the sound of a pipe bomb exploding early monday in new jersey. it happened as a bomb squad robot examined a backpack. it was not part of a controlled detonation. the device exploded as the robot was cutting wires. as five explosives. it was found by two men who thought it may have contained valuables. they reported it to police. that is what happened. it was the second in new jersey since saturday morning. >> the people who are doing this have no value on human life and it's really difficult to

we spend all day trying to make it better, they spend all day trying to make it worse. >> this comes after a bombing injuring 29 people in manhattan. >> authorities named a person wanted for questioning as the investigation continues after this explosion saturday night and the discovery of a secondary device in the area. officials named this man as someone they would like to talk to. chelsea neighborhood of manhattan. 29 people injured but no fatalities. moments later the new york police department bomb quad unit found and disposed of a second device a few streets away. the act was intentionallal but unclear if it's related to ter rim. they don't feel comfortable going that far yet but it's looking like it and no one has claimed responsibility for that
