started talking about a local teenager. we know this teenager lost his life after crashing his motorbike into an s.u.v. on the far west side of town. happening just before 7:00 last night. according to local police this 16-year-old on the dirt bike ran a red light and slammed into the s.u.v. the rider dying on scene. the woman was take on the a hospital with minor injuries. doesn't look likhe because of this accident. >> dana: a gruesome scene playing out near the thomas and mack center. a man covered in blood and people who saw this called 911. they found two people murdered inside their own home. >> michelle: police say that the suspect that they have in custody was temporarily livering with these victims and the two victims were trying to help the man get back on his feet and get

happened on tuesday. the ex-wife of one of the victims says that her exhusband kelly and his wife robin naples were trying to help frank get back on his feet. but instead they ended upbeaten to death in their own home. police arrested him in connection to the double murder yesterday. police believe it was possible he used either a baseball bat or hammer. while neighbors suspect that drugs were involved, police are mary kay who has two daughters with naples said he was known for his generosity. >> helping somebody that was down and out on his luck. that's just sad. my two daughters have lost their father. >> relatives of the victims tell us the suspect was recently kicked out of a nearby apartment and he was known to have a drug

carolina specifically charlotte. check out the scene. this is a busy interstate. this was the scene following a deadly shooting of an african-american man. as you can see, it was complete chaos. the streets of charlotte, north carolina we've been able to check out through live pictures this morning are quiet following this video from hours ago. it was angry protests that took over the interstate following this deadly police shootingf armed. authorities using tier gas trying to break up the demonstrations. 12 officers were injured and marked police vehicles were destroyed in all the chaos you are seeing. within the television footage it showed dozens of people on interstate 85 looting semitrucks and setting their contents on fire on the highway. we've been able to check out

where they will be reporting live and because this is a developing story, don't be surprised if they do a brand new west coast version for all of you this morning. >> dana: a local man convicted of killing his wife nine years ago facing the parole board. he could get out of prison. the daughter of the murder victim fighting to keep his mother's killer behind bars. this is the guy we're talking about. he pled guilty to charges of murdering his wifeos decade ago. jan's daughter is headed to the hearing. she's going to be there today pushing to keep him locked up. he left his wife's body in a recliner for three days after he killed her. then he dismembered her body before scattering it in trash bins near their apartment. the remains of her have never been found. >> for the safety of my family and the safety of the community

this morning scheduled for sentencing. the crime happened in march of this year. he chose not to go to trial. the student admitted to having sex with him five times, twice in the classroom and three times in his van. they exchanged explicit photographs. this happened at a school legacy high. the arrest report stated the contact began when the girl was 17 and she's 18 now. th that is a law there that says a teacher can't have sexual or romantic relationships with their students. i'll be in court for the sentencing. with his admission to police give him any leniency from the judge? we'll find out. >> kim: not often we don't have to rely on a mug shot we can go to a local school yearbook to

interest. >> dana: a local man going to spend the rest of his life behind bars for his role in a murder for hire plot against a nellis airman. this is the nellis airman that was murdered inside his own garage. he was heading to work at nellis one morning when this man cory hawkins pulled the trigger and murdered him. he was hired by his wife. this man was also there that morning. michael rodriguez. he is spending lifeeh along with nathan's wife who is also spending life behind bars. cory hawkins pled guilty in this case because he wanted to avoid the death penalty. he was sentenced to life behind bars without the possibility of parole. >> kim: it was a deadly plot to kill. this morning on this wednesday it has not turned deadly but certainly could have.

was shut down because the man on the left went to that parking garage and waited for the two people on the right and once he saw them fired upon them. metro saying jeffrey brown plotted to kill that estranged wife who you saw in the picture with her boyfriend once they returned home from a trip to i understand indianapolis. he waited in that garage and once he saw them opened fire. from what we understand this morning on this wednesday, both of those victims are in condition at sunrise hospital. from the initial reporting we got on this case, when they were taken to the hospital they were conscious and talking. jeffrey brown surrendered peacefully to police a few hours later at a local v.a. center. >> dana: the weather is going to be perfect for a drive around the red rock loop this saturday and it's going to be free out there. red rock canyon celebrating

about donald trump's organization paying personal expenses through his chartable donations s. that what is at issue essentially? >> exactly. this broke with the washington post. there were several incidents including two large ones totaling more than a quarter million dollars where donald trump was sued, trump settled the lawsuit but instead of paying a fine, he said i'll give money to your favorite charity. he didn't use his perso or business funds through the lawsuit to do that. he paid that through his foundation, charity foundations are not supposed to pay what was a fine for a settlement of a lawsuit. and so now the new york attorney general who is already looking into the trump foundation wants
