online video protesting the young african-american men. he said those students will be disciplined. right now talking about young people in our community for a completely different reason. they ended up in the court room because of their addictions but now you can say they are paddling their way to success. the dragon boat festival they will be a part of at lake las vegas and a local judge is one that put those young adults on mandatory assignment when they landed in his court room. the people participating get two practices before they compete in the dragon race, know what to do after the training. they are putting their heart and soul into this even though they have limited time. we did talk with a team member to get ready to graduate from this program. >> kids are getting younger and younger from what i see, but thanks to programs like this, if you get yourself in a situation they offer away out if the pain gets great enough. >> and to see them actually get a life back and to see

it's as rewarding as you can get. >> kim: well, you just heard from the judge in this case, and we will definitely pay attention to how all of these young people do in the big race. it is coming up october 8. if would you like more information, head to our web site, news3lv.com. 4:37. and our city's first major professional sports team, our national hockey team will soon have a place to practice. black nights sports and entertainment the group that owns the team announced a deal with corporation that will place a practice facility for a new nhl team in downtown summerlin. the facility will have two sheets of ice. black night entertainment plans to break ground next month and plans to open next august, a couple of months before they will play their first game of the season and by the way, team name, team colors, team logo, all this has been pushed back. we are hoping to find all of that out next month. but now it appears that they have had some issues trying to get all that together.
