check things over to make sure there are no people involved in this criminal case that he had worked with before this they would be called "conflicts." he need to check that out before moving forward with representing garcia. pedro garcia will be in court and his current public defender edward cane will be there as wellle. he said earlier that today friday morning he will be able to tell the judge if he had conflicts. if he does, he will appoint a new attorney, if he doesn't he wi garcia and that a preliminary hearing in this case will be set. i will be in court at 7:30 when all of that begins to unfold. we will let you know what happens on our report on news3 live at noon. i am reporting live, news3. >> dana: craig, thank you for that. the funeral for former prime minister shimon peres taking place in jerusalem.

6:12 now that teenager accused of shooting three people at a south carolina school is to appear in court later on this morning. he will be in juvenile court. the judge has not yet decided whether cameras will be permitted inside that court room. two students and a teacher were wounded in the incident at townville elementary school. authorities also say that teenager killed his own father at their home. and we also understand according to authorities that the teenager called grandparents right before the shooting at the school. one boy that was hit at the school jacob hall remains in critical condition. his family says he is on life support. a vigil held for the hall family yesterday, and a go fund me page to help with medical bills. it is now 6:13. and a police officer is wounded. a suspect is dead following a shootout not far from what we are watching right now. takes us to neighboring

for eight hours yesterday. metro said detectives did have probable cause to arrest the suspect in connection with a shooting at a nearby mobile home park last thursday. it is now 6:33. this morning we have an update on some local families forced from their apartments because of a fire in june. they tell us they have had a rough time getting back on their feet and not just because of the fire. those victims say when they finally got back to their apartment complex to gather some of their belongings. they get there and a lot of their stuff is missing. it was gone. they had security on their premises. those who run the apartment complex say security is a top priority. the residents paid money to make sure their belongings were still there. they had some insurance. covered with $10,000 in insurance money but the property manners j tell us that their relationship with the insurance carrier is not making sense of how some of the stuff is gone and the people are not being paid out.
