david frostic might ring a bell. this person is accused of attempted murder of a corrections officer and this new crime accusation comes days after he said he was a changed man that he had found god. those statements made as he was being sentenced for another crime. that was happening at the justice court or district court. he told jurors he had found god while he was jailed during a fiance. he was ultimately sentenced to life in prison within the possibility of parole after 20 years. five days into that prison sentence came the attack on a metro corrections officer. the c.o. is ok. now treated with minor injuries and released from the hospital. there is surveillance video of this jailhouse attack that will play prominently if this case goes to trial.

center. i'll be in court to find out what happens. >> dana: you say there is surveillance video of the attack but authorities have not made that available to us yet, right? >> >> they have not made it available to us and it could be the possibility that it would never be made available if this case doesn't go to trial, if they make a plea deal then that evidence would remain sealed. reports of another attack inside the clark county detention center from over the weekend. this one turned deadly and this one was between two inmates. according to authorities, one of the directions officers was conducting a routine inspection and found an inmate in his cell bleeding from his head. evidence at the scene indians indicates the victim got into a fight with this man.

sharp informs jail facing charges of attempted grand larceny and attempting burglary. now sharp is facing one charge of murder. >> kim: starting today they are trying to figure this one out. clark county school district administrators and local police. this is a massive fight in town on friday night. las vegas police looking to identify anyone involved in this big brawl breaking out after a high school football game. officials say they are working with authorities i a teenage girl was hospitalized for minor injuries after this fight impacting two local restaurants. witnesses say the fighting started between rival high schools between the students. it all started with a fight in the raising cain's restaurant spilling over to the in and out restaurant. dozens of teenagers shown kicking and punching each other. an employee lying on the ground

says two employees were slightly injured. again, school district administrators and local police working in earnest on this one starting today. >> dana: that one is hard to watch. nevada lawmakers will begin a special session in carson city in less than three hours from now. they have several issues to talk about but the biggest one is the proposed dome stadium off of the strip and how to pay for it. this will cost raising the hotel room tax to help pay for it. something that most labor unions are behind. >> let's build this stadium. let's bring the economy back to las vegas. there are so many communities in las vegas that have suffered, no work. >> mark davis who owned the raiders says that if we build the stadium here, he will move the raiders to las vegas. they would begin playing next

arkansas. every year a pilot flies over the festival and drops live turkeys from the plane. a lot of people drive across the state to see this in person. ai lot of people are upset with this tradition saying sometimes those turkeys die when they fall into power lines or on coming traffic. this year there was a shirt saying turkey lives matter. arkansas game and fishay because the turkeys are considered pets and not wild animals. >> dana: we've seen this before on wkrp. >> tom: anyone who saw that episode remembers that. that was a classic episode. we have a little bit of trouble on the roadways.

after a bankruptcy court judge allowed the former owner to eliminate benefits. those are the people don trump sold the property to. he no longer has any stake in this property. that union wants health insurance and pension benefits restored. when the casino closes which will be hours from now it will be all said and done. some 3,000 workers will lose their suspension over. he ran on to the field in cleveland to wild cheers from some of the patriots fans that were in attendance yesterday. would he be rusty? no. 406 yards passing. three touchdowns. the patriots win the game 33-13. by the way , the browns can't catch a break. they are down to their fifth string quarterback.

lights. that is southbound i15 and when we check travel times, nine minute drive. it should be about five minutes for this time of morning. when we check traffic ahead forecast barring any unforseen accidents should improve as we get into rush hour once that accident is cleared out of the way. about a six minute drive two hours from now. >> dana: there was concerns last matthew could loop around and hit the united states again but doesn't look like that is going to happen. >> kelly: thank goodness because they are going to need this time to dry out and quiet back down. this is out of north carolina where you can see how high that water s. it's going to take a while to clean up. the rivers crested well above normal and it will take quite a while for them to go back down. we saw people using four wheelers to get around in that water. don't want to drive any car
