the view of the well maintained lawn that is the golf course. a developer has other plans. the developer wanting to replace a lot of that lawn with homes and a mix of local shops and restaurants. last evening there was a planning commission meeting to take up this issue. the approval was given to rezone the golf course to allow residential building. the decision made despite the fact the queen's ridge association say 80% of the people who live in this area are against rezoning. >> inappropriate and not compatible the zoning. >> the present plan is simply the best alternative. >> reporter: no side is particularly happy with the decision here. the planning commission decided to rezone so that does mean some lawn will leave.
