82. we have more rain on the way. not just one round, but two. we'll talk more about it coming up. >> dana: breaking news from five hours ago. a woman in her 20's shot here in the las vegas valley. craig joins us live from the scene and you are just about a block away from red rock elementary school. >> reporter: yes. red rock elementary school that direction. the investigation behind me happening right now. 12:45 this morning people in this neighborhood heard gunfire. woman on the sidewalk. she was dead. she had been the victim of a shooting. we have video from when news 3 was on the scene in the 1:00 hour this morning. the victim has not been i.d.ed just yet. metro says she's in her 20's and was shot in the head. there were no reports of trouble before the shooting. no arguing orioling. that wasn't heard by people.

at a gas station near downtown las vegas before leading that trooper on a high speed chase. that full pursuit played out here on channel 3. we had tom up above in sky 3. now you are seeing the ground video from the surveillance cameras in place. the three-point shot him and he died from those injuries the next day. the suspect's criminal history included robbery, kidnapping and evading law we want you to watch this closely. this man walked into a local store carrying a large stick demanding money from the employees. there you see him rushing into the store. at one point he pushed a couple of employees into a back room, put his hands around their neck and said he would kill them if they did not give him money. his most distinctive feature , the guy has braces. you can see a little bit of what

dangerous time to disarm a shooter at a train station in oregon. happening last night in the portland area. a man is in custody after firing one or two shots after being confronted by another man on the train. that dispute by the two was about money missing from the victim's home. police say it was a bystander who disarmed the suspect before he was taken into custody. fortunely >> dana: police working to clear the scene after eight cars from a coal train derailed in an illinois neighborhood overnight. this happened 20 miles outside of st. louis. authorities say no injuries reported. >> kim: a british airways plane forced to divert after a mystery illness struck a cabin crew up in the air. the crew only here. that plane was headed from san francisco to london. this was monday night when
