going into the holiday weekend. we will begin with images, shocking invasion of privacy you will see right here on news 3. we have exclusive video if inside of the rental home of the man accused of secretly recording guests that rented through air bnb. we decided not on air all the video out of respect for the victims in this case. investigators say christopher rodgers is a man you see right here adjusting the peckcos and warm springs. he faces multiple accounts. prosecutors said he recorded fully nude men and women inside of the bathrooms and bedrooms with cameras hidden inside of smoke debtors. grand jury transcripts reveal he let a group of women stay at the home for free. as long as they posted photos of themselves on social media and tagged a offended business.

wednesday in the case. and acquittal of the bundy brothers fuels new concerns this morning. as news 3 nathan o'neal explains some are wondering if not guilty verdict in the trial over in oregon standoff could have a reaction right here in nevada. >> reporter: nevada ranchers bande and company found not guilty on charges connected to the 41 day armed standoff with the feds in oregon. that's what this case is about. it is okay to say no to the government. >> reporter: february take in a shoot-out. for some not guilty ruling shocking. one juror saying it came down to the prosecution failure to prove conspiracy. >> for most nevadians not only is this verdict surprising but concerning. >> reporter: andy director of the conservation league. he is worried the ruling could serve as a duly action for bundy supporters everywhere. putting federal workers at-risk.

>> anchor: welcome back. an american airlines jet aborted take off yesterday after it caught fire at o'hare. the dramatic scene all caught on camera as passengers rushed to escape when smoke and fire engulfed one side of the aircraft. nbc ron details. >> reporter: panicked passengers rushing off a burning american airlines jet at o's hair today. single fire urging one another to go. >> start to take off. we did not get in the air. right side engine blew. >> reporter: video captured by a passenger recorded frightening exit. some tumbling down the emergency chute. eventually standing in the grass off the runway watching the

flames. >> oh, my god. >> american we are evacuating. >> reporter: chaos began as flight 383 rolled down the runway airline said headed for miami when right wing caught fire and partially collapsed. >> loud pop. and then flames. >> reporter: officials say all 161 passengers and nine crew members got off the plane safely flames on the other side of the aircraft. 20 passengers and one crew member suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. >> we were 30 seconds into the safety video, about do not grab your luggage in an emergency. and probably seven or eight people that stopped grabbed luggage which made everyone fall forward. >> reporter: ground stop ordered bringing flight operations to a halt for some

a hour later. >> anchor: this incident may bring back memories of a similar fire here at home in las vegas over at mccarran airport, that happened last year. when engine of a british airways jet caught fire before take off. happy to report that no one was seriously injured in this incident either. now get this next one. caught on camera. another scare, on a busy runway. that is at the federal cargo plane caught on fire upon arrival at my goodness. this happened yesterday afternoon. witnesses say the plane exploded while on that runway. causing the engine to separate from the rest of the aircraft. the plane's left wing was also heavily damaged. thankfully no reports of injuries in this incident as well. and another caught on camera moment.

driver after the car caught on fire. police body cam video showed the officer coming to the aid of the 87-year-old woman. officers say that she was driving on a flat tire to see her doctor when the tire flared up. officer was able to get that woman out of the vehicle in time and even rescued the cane before putting out the fire himself. woman checked out for smoke inhalation and said to be doing okay. now bring you back home. here >> reporter: first world series game wrigley field since 1945 took place last night. tide last night. cleveland won. feels good. up 2-1. seven game series in history of baseball 2. -1 leader, 77 percent of the time. they have won the series. great night at wrigley. wind howling. making for tricky ball. no score in the seventh 2. on for cleveland. pinch hitter cocoa crisp
